Mallard: let's bring him with us for now don't want to lose the Yoshis.
Morgan will have one of the light ferrets follow the Yoshis and another follow the Shy Guys.

Light ferrets are sent off to scout, as you stay in the forest to question a Shy Guy.
Shy Guy: "Really depends on what you mean by where "they" came from... There's a lot of different answers...
First, there's something about a thing called the Burglegot. Supposedly eats worlds, which fuses them together and recreates them as islands.
The Quest Ruiners are protecting that thing. They say it's invincible as long as their fortress is standing. So yeah, they come from their own fortress. I don't have the coordinates.
Now... You said "leader". Singular. So I assume you're talking about that walrus and not the Quest Ruiners as a whole. All I know is that he's obsessed with children. It's pretty creepy."
The Ferret following the Yoshis arrives at a place full of wooden huts. There's a bunch of unconscious Yoshis. A robed individual with greenish skin comes out of a hut, holding a baby in red in it's hands. The baby seems surprisingly calm.
Yoshi 1: "This is bad!"
Yoshi 2: "You're not taking that baby!"
Seems like the enemy is not alone. Four Reznors come out of the forest.
Yoshi 1: "Woah! Where are our new friends?"
Another ferret is following the Shy Guy. They are crawling, so they are not reaching anything interesting anytime soon.

Mallard
Okay Fuzz bring him with us. We need to catch up with the Yoshi's.
The light ferret will make its way back towards the group Asap.
As soon as the group sees the light Ferret Morgan will use Tailwind to help boost everyone's speed and then get to the Yoshi's.

Right, my bad. When the ferret gets back quickly follow the group and take the Shy Guy with us, then once we get within attacking range perform a flying slash on one of the Reznors followed by Xerneas attacking all four with Dazzling Gleam and Sylvia staring the green robed creature down ready to cast a fireball spell if she has an opening to do so without hurting Baby Mario.
"Sorry we're late, we had some interrogating to do!"

You all run towards the Yoshi's hideout and see 4 triceratops with a hooded individual.
BOSS BATTLE: REZNORS (MARIO)
By the time you arrive, the two Yoshis you were helping fell unconscious by Reznors ramming into them. Thanks to the light ferret's Tailwind, Xerneas is able to act. He uses Dazing Gleam to hurt all four Reznors.
They start running, circling around the party. The hooded individual is trying to walk into the forest with Baby Mario in his hands.

Okay Morgan will have the light ferret follow the hooded figure.
Then Morgan will begin charging Solar Explosion. You cowards attacking these poor innocent Yoshi's. You will pay.
Guys keep them busy it takes a turn to charge this attack.
Mallard will go ahead place himself next to Morgan ready to counterattack any Renzor. John Cena will unleash a series of punches on one of those things.

Cover Morgan, deflecting any fireballs the Reznor shoot back at them with the Rainbow Sword since Yoshi is handling countering them up close. Meanwhile Xerneas will keep hitting all four at once with Dazzling Gleam and Sylvia will use Earthquake in an attempt to knock the robed individual off his feet and slow his escape.
Sylvia: "And where do you think you're going?"

(When you're about to have all allies hit by Earthquake, but then you realise Sylvia is not a Pokemon)
Morgan start charging an attack, as the Reznor start constantly spitting fireballs. They seem to be aggro'd on Xerneas right now. With his water dagger, Mallard manages to put down some of the small fireballs, but also gets in the way of some, taking minor damage. John Cena gets in the way of a fireball, taking extremely minor damage, then punches one of the Reznors. It seems to tank the punches, but Cena is confident he did some damage. Fuzz gets in the way of the fireballs, voluntarily, trying to deflect them with the Rainbow Sword. There's quite a lot of them though. Fuzz takes decent damage, while Xerneas takes minor damage. Another Dazzling Gleam hits all the dinosaurs. Sylvia makes the hooded individual fall with an Earth Spell. The hood falls down with it. This is indeed a Mindflayer. Baby Mario is still being calm. The Mindflayer turns to look at the party.
The Reznors stop spitting fireballs. They all look at the party and scrape one of their back legs on the ground.

Yoshi, you may want to swap Fennekin in and use Thief or Covet on that Mindflayer to steal Baby Mario, it's going to be awfully hard to fight it when it's got a hostage. In the meantime Xerneas will keep spamming Dazzling Gleam because it's working pretty well, I'll fly up and over towards the Mindflayer (carrying Fennekin if Yoshi chooses to use them and it helps them reach the Mindflayer) and Sylvia will cast All Shatter on the Mindflayer to reduce all its stats. Speaking of which Just14, why wasn't there a Mind Shatter spell for resistance? I don't think I ever realized that until now, but that seems like the best stat for a Mage to reduce. |

I think I ran out of space when I was making spells and I decided to do away with the Mind Shatter/Speed Shatter/Dexterity Shatter trio and gave it to some other class. I could probably tell you if I looked at the class abilities for a while, but I figure it's not that important. I also decided All Shatter would cover that anyway, so why really bother? You guys would just use that at that level anyway.

Morgan: Good idea when this hits it should give you a bit of coverage to take that baby back.
Mallard: Your right Fuzz.
Mallard recalls John Cena and calls out Fennekin (Fennie).
Fennie use Convent on the Mindflayer and get back that baby Mario.

Mallard switches John Cena for Fennekin and uses Thief to steal Baby Mario from the Mindflayer. It is successful, but the baby is struggling to get out of Fennekin's grasp. Sylvia uses All Shatter to reduces the Mindflayer's stats, then Fuzz fly close to him to get ready to battle. Morgan releases an explosion of solar energy, healing the party, but dealing damage to all enemies. It's powerful enough to have the Mindflayer fall on the ground.
Xerneas uses Dazzling Gleam again. Something weird is happening to the Reznors...
Some kind of fleshy appendages comes out of all the Reznors, like an infection. It covers them and reaches out in-between the, fusing them all together, to make a big Reznors with faces everywhere on it's body. On the top of it's head, a big fleshy eye appear.
Reznor: "BURGLEGUT!!!!!!"
The Reznor abomination is spitting a barrage of fireballs in the sky. The Mind Flayer is pointing at one of the unconscious Yoshis.

Mallard: Not good dam if only there was more water around. I could try to take some from Chester but even that may not be enough......
Morgan: Mallard have to do something quickly. Morgan will go ahead and do her move again (Divine display of the Cherry Blossoms) and maneuver the flower petals around the fireballs. Then when the fireballs are surrounded around the fireballs. Morgan will use her petals to destroy them.
(Quick note: The flower petals are actually tiny blades. Yet they appear to be Flower Petals because of the light reflecting off of them.)
Mallard will then rush to Yoshi's side and will go ahead and start throwing daggers at the giant eye on the Renzor fusion thing.
Fennekin will get close to Mallard and then unleash a Flamethrower on the same Renzor fusion

Xerneas will put a big dome shaped Light Screen around the party to help mitigate the fireballs, Sylvia will use Blazing Burn on Reznor (I've been holding off on fire attacks for fear of environmental damage but frankly those fireballs raining down are going to do a lot worse than a single target spell), and I'll slash at the outstretched arm of the Mindflayer because I don't know what it's trying to do to that Yoshi but it can't be good.
