Smashsona: Defenders of the Multiverse.

Long ago there was a being who sought to conquer not only his world but all others. He enlisted the aid of villains from there respective worlds to help with his evil plans. Some were almost all too willing to join no questions asked. Others saw this as an opportunity to further there own plans and agreed as a means to an end. While others were outright untrusting of this beings intention and secretly began to plot against him.

This being had no name or identity but wielded near limitless power. He had two mighty hands which held untold powers by chains of unbreakable light. He also had control of an orb of power that had the power to command a near infinite amount of black bugs he could to his will. The bugs could be use to take on shapes both great and small and had near infinte power. The multiverse needed help and it needed a hero to save it from this being.

The heros from different universes banded together and tried to fight him. Yet even with their combine might they were defeated by one simple flap of his mighty wings. Even the villains that have teamed up with him at first later tried to take him down along with the heros. Unfortunately they too were defeated with little effort. At that moment all seemed lost til the Multiverse called out to another.

A single human was summoned but there was more to him then met the eye. He was able to wield power almost comparable to this being. He was able to weild all the powers of the fallen heros and villains as if they were his own. Little by little he was able to fight back against the being and his mighty hands. With each blow a different hero or villian would be revived and joined him in his battle.

Finally, when everyone combined there power on the single human. The human struck the being with their combined might defeating him or so they thought. Yes the being was dealt a significant blow severely weakening him. Yet the being had one last trick up his sleeve. Right before his defeat he hid a tiny bit of his power inside an orb. The orb was then flung somewhere into deep space where it just floats unbeknownst to everyone.

The heros, villains, and human all celebrated thinking the battle was won. Yet the human had a feeling like the being could rise again. So before he left he turned to his advisors and ordered them to keep an eye on everything. They don't know when or where but he has a bad feeling about it returning. One day they or his descendents may be called to duty again.

Suddenly a weird purple light enveloped the area and then everything went black.

"Uh oh its starting," Pixy said as she began to get visibly nervous.

"Wait what's starting?" Ann asked.

"Its him he must have regained enough of his power if he's able to bring over others from a different dimension," Pixy said while pressing a bunch of buttons.

Pixy's greatest fear was confirmed when magikoopas were spotted in Hyrule wielding the same ruby, varouis bobkins were spotted in dream land. "Guys at this rate it's only a matter of time before Earth is invaded," Pixy said nervously.

"What do we do Pixy?" Sophie asked.

"The only thing we can do and that's hope they have awakened," Pixy replied.

"You mean," Anna said to Pixy.

"Yeah Pika Pika Pikachu," Pixy replied.

Location: Earth

"Jake Jake slow down, geez I just got done no fair," Sam called out panting.

"Your too slow," Jake called out while starting to run backwards to taunt Sam.

Jake didn't see a random pedestrian crossing his path when he crashed into him.

"Ow, watch where your going," the man yelled at Jake.

"Sorry sir your not hurt are you?" Jake asked.

"No it's fine but next time be careful where your going," the man replied.

Jake reached out to help the man up when he was shoved from behind and out of the way. The man that had his hand up noticed what look like a tall dark shadow standing over him. "Wait who who who are you?" the man asked with much terror in his voice.

The shadow just looked like it was smiling almost as be struck the man with what looked like a long shadowy sword.

"Whats going on and what is that number?" Jake asked as he saw a number above the guy he ran into drop to 0. As soon as it reached 0 the guy appeared to shatter into a million pieces only for what looked like a trophy of him to be left.

"Jake, what's going on?" Sam asked when she caught up to Jake and saw what just happened. "What does that number mean and why did he turn into a trophy?". "Why did that shadow attack him?" Sam asked worried.

"I don't know but it doesn't seem right," Jake said as he got back to his feet.

"Target acquired assessing two more humans, mission eliminate," the shadow said making his way towards Sam and Jake.

"Not good not good at all," Sam said.

"Sam get home now I will take care of him," Jake said to Sam.

"But Jake you can't, we don't know anything about him," Sam said.

"Just listen to your brother for once," Jake said.

The situation your in is really dire isn't it,". "To think you were just two normal people just going along on your day,". "Now you find yourself in an impossible situation," the figure tells the siblings.

"Thanks for the commentary on how screwed we are," Sam replied.

"Relax child we are here to offer you power,". "Power to change your fate and to be able to protect those you hold dear,". "Its simple all you have to do is sign the contract,". "If you sign the contract we will be able to lend you our power," the hooded figure tells them.

"Wait contracts, powers, what exactly are you two," Jake said to them.

"Yeah what happens if we don't agree to your contract?" Sam asked.

"If you refuse then you will meet the same fate as that human you saw moments ago,". "We will be unable to lend you our power and both you and your sister will be sacrificed to a cruel being looking to destroy all worlds, including your own,". "As for the contract we can't tell you much but all we can tell you is that it's an oath," the figure tells them.

"You must hurry and make your choice we can not hold them off much longer," the other figure tells them.

"Looks like we have no choice at the moment," Sam and Jake said. "Fine we accept your contract," Sam and Jake tell the figures as they begin to glow.

OST: Awakening (Persona 5)



Now repeat after us. I am thou thou art I," the figures command Sam and Jake.

"I am thou and thou art I," Sam and Jake both say as they are enveloped in a blind light.

"The contract conditions have been met, now form an imagine in your head to call out your Smash sonas," the figure commands them


Jake and Sam form an imagine of..... in there mind.

Jake

A famous Italian plumber decked out in red. He is your standard Jack of all trades and has average stats all across.

Sam

A kick ass bounty hunter in futuristic looking armor. Like the elfin swordsman but with better special attack and defense. Still a bit slow.

"Now open your eyes and change your fate," a voice echoes in Jake and Sam's head.

As Jake open his eyes and the lights receded he notices his new appearance. Jake is wearing a pair of red and blue overalls with a red hat on top of his head. The gloves he's wearing feel warm to the touch and when he throws his hands forward a fireball comes out of it. The fireball then launches into the shadow which causes him to recoil in pain.

"Whoa what's going on why do I look like Mario?" Jake asked while looking at his new appearance.

"I mean I think it's a good look for you," Sam snorted.

"You might want to look at yourself first before you start saying anything," Jake said.

Sam then noticed she was covered in an orange like suit with a green visor. "Wait whats this why do I look like Samus?" Sam asked completely surprised. Sam almost on accident launches a rocket that explodes into the shadow holding her.

"So is this what they say about power and the ability to fight," Sam asked.

"I think so but well looks like they are getting ready to counter attack.

The head shadow seems completely healthy and he is readying his sword. (125/125 hp)

The two shadow grunts seem to have taken quite a bit of of damage from those surprise attacks and are a little surprised about what happened. (75/100 hp x2)

Despite all the damage Jake and Sam took earlier it seems to have completely healed and they fell great (Zack: 150/150 hp Sam 150/150 hp)

So what will they do?

(All actions are custom based unless otherwise noted)

Jake began to spin really fast into one of the shadow grunts really fast. The grunt still recovering couldn't move out of the way quick enough and was engulfed in flurry of fists. The grunt then ended up being flung into the ring of flames. The grunt barely was able to stumble back onto his feet.

Samantha ran up to the other grunt and curled up into a ball next to the grunt. Sam then jumped high into the air as the grunt was caught up in the move and took heavy damage.

The head shadow took out his sword and tried to take a swing at Jake. Yet Jake was able to swing him around and instead his sword ended up striking the grunt that Sam has just attacked.

"How could we be losing to mere children?" the head shadow shouted.

"This was suppose to be a simple mission gather some of the life force of some of the local inhabitants," he shouted.

"There will be plenty of time to figure it out,". "Right after we kick your shadowy buts back from where you came," Sam said as she aimed her arm canon at the head shadow. "Nice knowing you not bye bye," Sam said as she shot a rocket towards the head shadow.

The rocket was heading straight towards them when suddenly it just disappeared into thin air.

"My, my what a sorry sight," a jester like figure said as he appeared right next to the shadows.

The shadows were in shock to see who was next to them. The shadows were also in fear of what his presence could mean. "Ma ma master Dimento what are you doing here?" all three asked.

"Watch carefully children as I take these three useless minions and fuse them," Dimento said. At that moment a mini black hole appeared next to Dimento and the three shadows. 

"No anything but that," the shadows all begged helplessly. One of the shadow grunts were sucked into the black hole.

"Oh I gave you a chance to do things on your own,". "Now I decided to give you a hand or six,". "Oh looks like another one of your buddies has gone away," Dimento commented as the second grunt was pulled into the black hole.

"Master Dimento those aren't normal kids though they are Smashona users,". "They they have special powers and gifts,". "We didn't think any existed anymore," the head shadow said struggling against the pull of the black hole.

"Well duh of course I knew they were Smashona users," Dimento casually replied.

"You bastard you knew," the head shadow called out.

"Yeah, so what of it, besides if you couldn't handle a couple of rookies you wouldn't last that long, against the others,". "But I wasted enough of my time and energy on the likes of you," Dimento told the shadow dismisively.

"Ciao!" Dimento said as he launched a ball of energy towards the shadow.

"Curse you,". "Curses you sick and twisted freak," the shadow said as he too was dragged into the Black Hole.

"My my how ungrateful they are,". "I hope you children are way more appretive of your gift,". "Unlike those jerks who would dare curse me for making them useful. 

"What do you plan on doing to us?" Sam asked. 

"Why to have a little fun with you of course?". "Not everyday you get to run into two brand new users at once,". "It's just unfortunate for you two that those shadows you ran into happened to work for me," Dimento said to them with a mock frowny face. 

"We can defeat you just like we were those minions of yours," Jake shouted.

"Oh how cute defeate me," Dimento chuckled at the thought.


"You can't even touch me,". "In fact all I have to do is snap my fingers and the two of you are done for,". "Yet i am a kind hearted fellow and defeating you two so quickly would be boring,". "So instead I brought you a present," Dimento told them as the black hole started to rumble.

"Why I brought you a pet dog," Dimento said with an unnatural amount of joy.

"Yay a dog, oh what type of Floofy dog is it," Sam asked excitedly. 

"Umm sis I don't think it's the type of dog we have in mind," Jake replied.

"Oh why be such a downer it is a nice and cuddly floof,". "Well with three barking and snarling heads,". "Can breathe hell fire and has been called the Guardian of the underworld," Dimento said as the black hole began to open up.

The first thing to step out was a giant shadowy paw which was easily about half the size of the two siblings. Then the next shadowy paw exited the portal. Finally 3 giant, shadowy dog heads emerged as each of the outer heads had a horn on it's side. A large shadowy body could be seen coming out and then -finally a giant slender tail exited the portal. The shadowy three headed dog as soon as it stepped out let loose an ear piercing howl.

"Ehh i guess it's cuddly enough," Sam said while covering her ears.

"Why this floof is just dieing to meet you," Dimento commented as Jake sighed at both of them.
