"Caaaeeeeel. Why did you lie to me?" Vicrenzia asks.
"Huh?"
"Do you want me to cry, Cael? Do you want to make your doctor cry?"
"I don't..."
"Then why did you lie to me about the drugs, Cael?" Vicrenzia sniffles. "You've been doing them a long time, right? And you know exactly what type..." She sniffles again. "Y-you... wa-wanted me to make a wrong d-diagnosis?"
"N-no, I just... didn't want to get in... trouble," Cael says.
"You want get in trouble, as long as you tell me for real..." Vicrenzia promises. Her eyes are shining with the tears she's fighting back.
"...OK, OK... I take tranquilizers to help me sleep sometimes. Maybe... too much. And no, they're not... prescription. Obviously."
"OK!" Vicrenzia says. Cheerfully. Turning on a dime...
The urine test comes back. Hm. Nothing particularly interesting, other than some traces of tranquilizers.
It certainly looks like this is a case of withdrawal. But from what?
(A) Stoooool saaaaaample! (B) Ask what kinda work he does (C) Ask what kind of hallucinations he's been having (D) I'm ready to make my diagnosis!

Vicrenzia cocks her head. "What d'ya do that you have to take a bunch of tranquilizers and get burned a lot?"
"I don't... have to take them, they just... help."
"But how'd you get burned? How'd you get burned? How'd you get burned!?" Vicrenzia asks excitedly.
"I... work with animals. The magical kind. I got... the drugs from there."
"Oh, so you're like a veterinarian! Or maybe a breeder?"
"Y-yeah. Something like that." Cael looks away evasively.
Vicrenzia can tell he's lying. At least hiding something. Could it be important? Then again, maybe it'd be smart to let it go. Gotta consider doctor-patient rapport. If it's not relevant, it'd be wise to let it go.

C, although unless there's something earth-shattering in those hallucinations we might be able to make our diagnosis.

Vicrenzia takes a seat by the bed again. "So what kinda hallucinations have you been having?" she asks.
"I... I don't really know, doc. I really don't. At this point I can't even tell what's real and what isn't? I... I am in the hospital, right?"
"Probably."

So does everyone else think we're ready? Nothing's really contradicted the idea that he's having withdrawals.

He probably deep throats dragons.
Diagnosis! It's probably relevant to those weird drugs he took since he hasn't stopped taking the tranquilizers.

I'm not sure whether Kitty means he thinks Cael's symptoms are from still taking tranquilizers or not, but Fuzz seems to think withdrawal.

It's probably related to whatever he injected at that party.
It's not the tranquilizers because he's still taking them.

Because of the traces in his urine? Nah, that can last for weeks after you stop.
