You ever just notice something that blows your mind? Not only does Karl have the highest charm out of any player character at 19, he’s got one of the highest charm stats overall with only a few NPCs like Avalon being higher than him.

But he's also the player with the most broken links.
Which begs the question does charm really do anything? Or is Karl such a Black Hole he could have a charm of 100 and it still wouldn't matter?

Stats can only translate to RP so much. A character with high charm can be RP'd as a character with low charm, intentionally or unintentionally.

Yep. Karl dumped all his points in Charm trying to win the student body presidency and I don't think any other player... actually, I don't remember if Pie even voted for Karl. Wait, yeah, he did. And tried to stuff the ballot boxes. Which wouldn't have worked, btw, since stuffing in enough votes for Karl to win would have put the total vote count as noticeably greater than the total number of students.
Him getting Alice hurt and Laura kidnapped and having a lot of bonds broken over that was... uh... how to put it... an unfortunate series of accidents but I also don't really feel bad about it since I warned everyone ooc and multiple characters mentioned ic that keeping your identities secret would be a good idea.

It would have taken more than just 1 for Karl to win. Alice and Mattea were close enough that would have changed things, though.
