Can't win the campaign if you're expelled for ethics violations.

I wonder how much money on average it would actually take to bribe a high schooler to vote for a Karl.

I mean would it matter if all the students roll up in school with cars that are much nicer then all the teachers and faculty and princial.
Wait a moment Crow you are in control of some of the more important NPC's? How much in character would it take for them to vote for Karl?
Like would Lisa need a new state of the art computer and robotics lab?

Let's do quick maths here.
In the official lore, Karl's dad won the lottery 17 times straight. Assuming the jackpots were a modest $50 million dollars, thats 850 million dollars, or about 700 million after tax.
The house costed 100 million dollars to make, mainly because of incompetence of Karl's dad, leaving him with 600 million dollars. Cost of the $35 a month power bill, milk, and poptarts for the two years since he became rich bring it down to 595 million dollars.
Let's say that Karl's dad's accidental ascension to becoming the leader of the mafia and drug cartel give him a measly 50 million dollars a year. That would mean that Karl's dad owns 645 million dollars liquid, with 745 million in assets.
Who says yes to blowing 500 million on a student council election?

That would make the Newvit high school elections more expensive than Mitt Romney's run in 2012, and probably the fifth most expensive campaign ever behind Obama 2008, Obama 2012, Trump 2016, and Clinton 2016.

Lotteries don't pay out all at once. They pay out in installments. Usually over 20-30 years. If you take the lump sum, it's something like 60% of the jackpot. AND THEN taxes take their cut. If you take the annual payments, you get something like 67%. If you take the lump sum, it's not even 45%.
