Tai's rumors are up. They're eh.

Before you go looking for patterns, they're alphabetical (for NPCs). Have fun having new things to talk to NPCs about.

Raine
-Grows her own food specifically to help save money
-Tricked a kid into rubbing poison ivy on himself when she was young
-Will bake anyone cookies if you ask her

Alice
-Enjoys suspending troublemakers
-Purposefully pulled down Mattea's pants to embarrass her during their freshmen year play
-Squeals and hugs cute animals when no one's watching

Tom
-Crashed his bike into a car and totalled them both
-Set a building on fire playing with fireworks
-Too scared of driving to get his license

Sachi
-His dad secretly forces him to work at the café
-Makes his own recipies
-Seriously burned his little sister in a kitchen accident

Mattea
-Has a massively sadistic side
-Knits scarves for old people
-Slept with 2 guys last year

Buttons
-Hospitalized after he attempted a blood ritual last year and bled too much
-Secretly went out with Alice for almost a year
-Tried to sell his soul to a demon

Natsumi
-Hangs out alone in the woods at night a lot
-She didn't actually get kidnapped, she ran off
-Tried painting with blood once

Freya
-Her mom killed herself when she was young
-Got held back for a year because of her grades
-Got suspended for a year after she got into a fight

-Has an axe to grind with Lance
-Slugged a teacher in middle school when she tried to take his camera
-Sneaks into places he really shouldn't to take pictures

-Adopted
-Knows how to play the piano
-Missed a year of school because of illness

-Does recreational drugs
-Started his own band
-Volunteers at a bunch of places around town

Laura
-Cheated at the last wrestling competition last year
-Goes through 3 packs of bubblegum a week
-Really into anime

Somnis
-Has a HUGE crush on a certain someone
-Only pretends to be friendly
-Was forced into her role as Volunteer Club president

Dean
-Broke a guy's arm at wrestling practice once
-Can't stand hanging out with people for too long
-Dyes his hair

Lance
-Got in trouble for shoplifting last year
-Got into a fistfight with Tom last year
-Nearly failed 2 classes last year

Katie
-Her mom works as Alice's butler
-Killed her pet hamster when she was really young
-Secretly started a charity for animals in need

Lisa
-Crashed a drone into the principal's car and almost got her club shut down
-Got lost at a theme park and cried so hard she puked... in middle school
-Won a Road Warrior tournament under a fake name last year

Fox
-Got in trouble for swimming in the town's river
-Got lost in the forest and had to be rescued two years ago
-Raine used to babysit him

Zack
-Hates Dean because they used to date
-Really jealous of his older brother
-Wants to be the next soccer club president

Tia
-Has a forked tongue
-Acts really naive for attention
-Isn't actually from Greece, that's a cover story; she moved because she used to get bullied

Viola
-(various rumors about large bust size)
-Has the high score for half the arcade machines in the mall
-Super-shy because she used to be abused



Levi
-He's secretly envious of others because he wants friends
-He pretends he's gay so he can stare at boobs
-It's his fault his only friend committed suicide.

Tai
-Has had periods of depression. He has cut himself before due to a crushing sense of guilt. He blames himself for his father's death.
-Has killed animals before and once nearly beat a kid to death.
-Has Japanese ancestry on his mother's side. His great-grandfather came from Japan, but he doesn't own his heritage. His mom does, though.

Dewey
-Dewey has an entire row on his bookshelf dedicated to books signed by their authors with these being some of his most prized possessions
-Dewey's parents are almost never home as they're usually busy with work or out together on date night
-Dewey is a high-functioning sociopath

Leia
-She left the last town she lived in, because she survived an event where many people died.
-She's always look scared, because she sees ghosts
-She's scared of pineapples

Karl
-Karl has no parents
-Karl is just acting out a character to mess with people
-Karl prefers toaster strudels over pop-tarts

Floyd
- Wears long sleeves all the time to hide tattoos
- Will date anyone who asks nicely
- Isn't nearly as happy go lucky as he pretends

Arcadia
-Arcadia has a supposed history of playing nasty pranks on others, although no school records of allegations against her exist
-Arcadia is a deep-end closet fan of: anime, board games, dating sims, professional wrestling, gardening, astrology, internet forums, famous magicians, and more, but will never admit any of it
-Arcadia's magic tricks are all stolen

How do I make rumors for Karl? If there is anything that he has done, he'll just say it in one of his rants. He never keeps secrets.

Not even Fox and Katie are off-limits. You'll just have to work a little harder. It'd also probably help to figure out who it is...

If I can come up with 57 for characters with such an array of personalities and backgrounds, you can bullshit out 3.

Fun fact:The cutting thing was a plotline I had intended originally. That's where tai gotthe blood for that graveyard ritual. Scrapped it, though and was going to say it was Pig's blood.

Same I have no idea what to make as a rumor. Like no one knows enough to spread. No one would know she's gay because she hasn't actively hit on another girl or she hasn't told anyone. Umm I have no clue what to do.
