"Yeah, I just can't keep up with all the formulas sometimes. But I still do well enough. As shitty artist I can get the point of Language Arts. The problem is most teachers only want a specific answer when art is supposed to be interpreted in a different way from person to person. But that's how our shitty school system works."

"Does the author's purpose actually fucking matter if the reader gets a completely different interpretation? Like, obviously you could pull anything out of your ass, but if the reader has a legitimately different but plausible interpretation, then what does the author's intent actually matter? If Natsumi or I paint something and put it on display, then it's up to y'a- I mean, you guys to interpret that and what we say matters less than what you get out of it."
