You head to the Gardening Club. It seems particularly busy today what with the announcement. Raine is so busy fielding volunteer sign-ups that she only has time to give basic instructions to people. Fortunately, Freya is here to help cover for her, and Avel's able to cover for Freya's lack of gardening knowledge. Tom and Fox seem a bit annoyed with each other, while Katie keeps glancing at Floyd and blushing.

You head to the Trivia club. Alice seems to be in an unusually good mood today, even when she sees Karl. Tia, Jimmy, and Dean are all here today, and two of them do well. Tia's starting to pick up some of the general knowledge questions a bit better, but when you start today's main drill - US presidential knowledge - she fails completely.
Alice pats her on the back. "It's OK, 'transfer student,' I don't expect this to be your area of expertise."

Leia, Nora, Tai
You all proceed to the art club, where Natsumi is excited to have an unusual surprise prepared. "We're going to be drawing... birds!" she yells. She does seem a bit disappointed with how few people are here today.
Mareena, on the other hand, seems perfectly happy to be tending to a few pigeons scattered around the room. Buttons doesn't much seem to like the birds, keeping his distance while he sketches.

Leia seems pensive about birds being a little bit on the nose with what happened in the weekend, trying to have eye contact with Natsumi, but not saying anything.
She will stay in the room and leave only when/if everyone else left.

Hey, Karl knows that the guy who shot President McKinley was Leon Czolgosz, and that the guy who shot President Garfield was that Charlie Brown fellow. This should be a really successful practice! Just stick back and watch after dominating the questions.

You have to wait a long time for the others to leave, what with Mareena needing to gather a lot of pigeons. But eventually you're alone with Natsumi.
"Hi, Leia! That was fun, right? Mareena felt bad about stuff so she agreed to let us use the birds for models! Wasn't that fun?"
Tai
"What? Yeah, I'm fine. I just don't like birds is all. I don't want to crap on me and mess up my cloak. It happens all the damn time and it's a pain to get out," Buttons says. "Busy tonight? Not really, why?"
Nora
Mareena leans against your seat. "I know differences between American and British slang can be confusing, but here birds have wings."
Karl
You sit back and watch after Trivia. Most people form off into small groups and chat a bit before slowly filtering out.
Floyd
You head over to Raine to see if you can help stem the flow of people here after club to hear about the club event. Even more people show up afterwards just for that... Raine's completely overwhelmed.
"OK, little locusts! Are you ready for the details of the event? We'll be meeting this Saturday in the park to do... flower arrangements!"
A few people get in line to sign up. Some seem to lose interest and leave.
Dewey
Mareena answers back seconds after you send the message. "Sorry! Visiting family tonight."

Karl briefly thinks of changing his routine before heading to the mall. The comfort of it is always there for him.

"Bi-i-i-ird incident," Natsumi repeats. "No, she wasn't there. But she did throw Freya off a cliff-branch, so. Just a shame Freya couldn't be here today. Oh, well. The birds were really cute! Like you."
Aron
You sign up for the flower arranging festival. Looks like you need to be at the park on Saturday morning. Raine seems happy about all the sign-ups.
Nora
"Much cuter. Much better." Mareena smiles and goes back to packing her birds away, presumably to head back to her shop.
Floyd
"Mm-hm, a bountiful harvest!" Raine says. "Part of me wishes we got a few more, but then again that's more people I'd have to deal with... I guess we got just the right amount!" She claps. "Thanks for the help, Floyd."
Tai
"What are you trying to say? You're not, what, jealous are you?" Buttons asks. "I'm not busy tonight, yeah, we can do some stuff to get ready if you have some kind of idea."
