"Crime, huh? Well, I don't mean to brag too hard, but I got picked up by the cops just yesterday for busting into an abandoned house." He scribbles his number on a scrap of paper and hands it to you with a flourish. "Yeah, I got some friends on the inside, though. Got off with a stern talking to."

Arcadia whistles at Kiran's talk. "Whoa, big talk just for doing a number on some random place. I guess Occult club was the right call today though. Anyways..." Arcadia takes out a deck of cards and a pen, and removes one card (the Ace of Hearts) to write her number on. "And... here... it... is!" Arcadia finishes, handing her number to Kiran. "I hope you're not all talk, y'know. I got places to get going to, but I bet we'll be seeing more of each other soon. Catch ya later, mafioso!" Arcadia heads off to the mall after wrapping it up with Kiran.

"Ew!" Lisa shrieks and jumps off of you.
You hear a sharp clack and turn to see Alice glaring down at you, tapping her heel impatiently. "Is there a problem, Miss Faer? Mr. Karl?"
Meanwhile, Fox and Katie slip off down the hall.

You get interrupted by a text message. Two, actually. From Fox and Katie. "Emergency! Meet us at the fire department around midnight!"

Karl
Karl's head snaps back as Alice drives her palm into his nose like a striking snake. He's overwhelmed by a sudden burst of tears.
"Alice!?" Lisa blurts out.
"Whoops. My hand slipped," Alice says. Karl, blinded, feels himself falling to the ground. "Whoops, tripped." THUD. He's on his back with a shoe heel digging into his chest. "Oh, foot slipped. Miss Faer, would you mind going on ahead to the office while I apologize?" Her voice is cold and utterly devoid of mercy.
Karl still can't see anything, but he hears hastily shuffling footsteps. He's still blind, and there's still a stabbing pain in his chest. He feels Alice bend down, shifting more weight onto him. "You're the one sending people to the otherworld, then? You almost killed 3 of my students. Then you tried to take my place. I don't know what you're scheming or who you're working for, but I want you to understand. If I find out you've said another word about that world to anyone, if you do anything the least bit suspect, I am going to destroy you. Piece by piece. Do. You. Understand?" She adds more weight to Karl's chest. He's struggling to breath.
