Dewey drags himself to Trivia Club.

Leia

You head to the Volunteer club.  You find Katie standing with a big smile at the door as soon as you walk in.  Avel is hanging around in the corner, bobbing his head and listening to his headphones.  When Somnis is ready to start the meeting, he takes them off.

"Well, we finished our last big project.  And you all know what that means!" Somnis begins.  Katie answers by bouncing with excitement.  "We're going to be volunteering at the animal shelter this week!"

You all head to the animal shelter and get to work.  It's not all fun and games.  It's actually very little fun and games, and mostly cleaning and scrubbing...

Tai, Karl, Dewey

You head to the Trivia Club.  Alice is finally back and leading the club, though for some reason she's wearing a swimsuit and stockings.  She makes absolutely no comment on the situation, though Tai at least can tell what's going on what with Mattea smirking in the corner.  Tom is also here, acting as Alice's assistant.

"I'm finally back from the hospital," Alice says.  "And I come back to find we won 3rd place.  Good work, but now's not the time to get complacent.  That means we qualified for the regional competition in November.  And that means my expectations have gone up.  Let's-"  Alice fumbles and drops the stack of notecards in her hand.  She glares at the ground and grunts as she lowers herself down to pick them up.  Tom and Mattea both help her pick them up.  Alice takes them with an annoyed frown and goes back to practice.  Despite her odd outfit, Alice is still as competent as ever helping people memorize random facts.

Nora, Sam

"Hi everyone!" Natsumi greets you all.  "We're still working on sketching bodies today.  Remember, focus on the main body and curves and shading and everything and we'll work on hands and feet next week, since those seem to give people so much trouble.  Freya and Raine agreed to model for us today!  So you can also work on training yourselves to spot minor differences."

Raine and Freya come in wearing shorts and midriff-baring athletic tops.  Freya seems fine with acting as the model for the day, striking a pose and flexing in the middle of the room.  Raine is clearly less than thrilled, standing plainly at her side before trying to emulate her sister's stance.

"I'm really excited about this, it's such a great case study!  Since they're so similar, it really means you have to focus on spotting specific details.  Pay careful attention - look, right here.  Notice how Freya's legs are more muscular while Raine's are leaner - and she also has some calluses here and here, see?  Now, look at their arms and see if you can tell the differences.  It's hard, but if you do a really good job with whichever you draw, I should be able to tell which one it is."

After you finish with volunteer club and get back to school, you get a message from Natsumi. "Leiiiiaaaaa where arrrrre yooooou (?.?)"

There’s just a bit longer of a delay than one might expect before Sam receives a response.

Sam

Sam texts back the following.

Okay then see you at the entrance.


Sam will go back to gawking/ drawing Raine. While trying not to awkwardly stare at Raine but just enough to draw something of Raine.

Having received a response, Dewey makes his way to the school entrance and waits for Sam. Upon making it there, however, he’s met with a kid about his age dressed in a mailman’s uniform standing next to a bicicyle.
“Dewey Decimal?”
“Yes. And you are?”
Other than tapping his hat which was labeled “IPS”, the teen didn’t answer his question. Instead he reached into the basket of his bicycle and pulled out an envelope and a clipboard.
“Package for ya.”
“From who?”
Can’t tell ya. Sorry, it’s under the company’s ‘things man ain’t meant ta know’ policy. Sign here.”
Although slightly suspicious, Dewey signed it anyways before opening the envelope to find five tickets not unlike the ones from the other day.
“More of these tickets... Did this mystery sender say what these are for?”
“Beats me. I’m sure ya’ll figure it out. Anyways, I got more stuff ta deliver. Have a nice day.”
With the tip of a hat the teen hopped aboard his bicycle and rode off into the city. After he rounded a corner into an alley Dewey could have sworn he heard a sound similar to an Other World portal opening and closing just as quickly, but quickly wrote it off to not enough sleep. After all portals only open at night, and something about it didn’t sound quite right anyways...
