Linus grumbles as he takes Tai's number. "'Not a movie,' he says, after the last five minutes..." he huffs, twisting the front of his shirt to wring out some water. Awkwardly, what with the one hand. "Anyway, I'll just... go with the wind now."
With some difficulty, he gathers up the fishing gear he'd brought with him as if he doesn't plan to return to business as usual for some reason. He stops to check on Avalon and Lance on the way towards the exit.

He laughs to himself and gently punches Tai's shoulder. "Anyway, I think I'll see ya' in class! Good job lookin' out for the juniors!"

You leave the park and soon get a message from Mattea. "Just got off work. Gotta head home and shower. Any ideas what to do for the date? Need to know what to wear." Before you even finish reading you get another message. "Or maybe you wanna come help me get ready?"

And then you were alone again. No bears. No guys in costumes. Well, just the ones talking a short distance away. It might be a good time to investigate. Or move on.

Mareena smiles and waves when you stare at her for a bit.
"Oh. Um. Yeah. You're, uh, welcome." Beta seems surprised. "So, uh... anyway... I'm just gonna... go. See ya. Probably."
Beta starts to slink off awkwardly.
"Bye-bye, Beta!" Mareena calls after him.

Floyd watches Beta as they shuffle off before taking his notepad out and jotting a few words down nodding to himself "So my magnificent, mysterious, magnetic mistress seems like we're taking this up a bigger tree! How would you like to kill time beforehand?"

Mareena waves a hand dismissively. "'Kill' time? One can't 'kill' time, Floyd, nor should you want to. Shouldn't you enjoy it instead? Come on, people at the mall must be rioting for THE GREAT MAREENA to open her shop."
While you get ready to leave, you notice Tai leave, then Avalon and Lance. Linus starts to follow them, then notices Lisa left some of her equipment and runs back for it.
Move to Mall.

Everyone that was there begins to filter out of the park, leaving you now well and truly alone with a few scraps of dead bear.

Mareena takes her sweet time getting to the park, wandering around almost aimlessly with the two of you in tow, stopping to look at random things - particularly shiny baubles and knick-knacks - that catch her eye in stores you walk past. She also makes sure the two of you eat before you arrive at the park. You notice that despite her general lack of clothing, she doesn't seem bothered by the night's cold.
A few minutes after she was supposed to arrive, Freya jogs up to the park entrance. "Hey..." she pants. "Sorry I'm late. Had to... sneak out. Then I missed the bus so I had to run. So, uh... what's going on with Fionn?"
"Good question! Dunno yet." Mareena hops down from the tree she had climbed into. "Shall we?"

You and Natsumi make your way into the park well ahead of midnight and camp out on her favorite rock deep in the woods. It's cold. Unpleasantly cold. Natsumi shudders while you wait, until finally the green portal pops open. "Oh, finally! Next time let's not come as early, OK? Come on, come on!" Natsumi grabs your hand and drags you into the portal.
