Everyday millions of people go about their everyday lives doing as they please, however, unknown to most of them there exists another world, largely influenced by our own. Unknown to them also, is that this mysterious world is on the brink of destruction as a war has begun. Now, the fate of both world rests in the hands of some very special people, all destined for greatness. Alright, so here's the deal! Little-to-no prior knowledge of the Digimon anime, games, manga, or franchise is necessary to participate as I will explain all necessary mechanics and knowledge either here or in-game. Alright, so quick info necessary for the sign-up. You will receive your one-and-only Digimon Partner whom you will share your adventure with in the Prologue. For the sign-up, I'd like you to choose a preference for which Species of digimon your partner will be. Here are the Species and their relationships: Holy-Dark Dragon-Beast Aquatic-Bird InsectPlant-Machine It's fine if multiple people choose the same species as I have accounted for this possibility and will adjust for it. So your basic Sign-up: Name:(First only is fine, although first and last is preferred. Including nicknames is fine as well.) Gender:(For the sake of the game please choose Male or Female. Transgender characters are welcome, too though.) Age:(Any age is allowed, but the range of 8-35 is recommended.) Species Preference:(Choose which species you would like your partner to be. If you have no preference then I will randomly select a species for you.) Digivice Color:(Any colors are fine. The first color will be the main color of the digivice and the second color will be it's trim. Example below. This is mostly a small cosmetic detail.) Appearance:(Self-explanatory) Background:(Where in the real world is your character? What are they doing? Their job, life, family, etc.) Digivice Examples:   And that's it! I plan on beginning the Prologue a week from now if all goes according to plan. From there more information about how the universe works will be provided within the story. I'd like some more info. For example, does this take place in the same continuity as the anime? How publically known is the Digital World and its monsters? If very public, for how long has this been available. What year does it take place relevant to the anime and its events, and which major events should be treated as canon? I was thinking of tying my character a little bit into the Digimon movie as it was called in the US, but it depends on the timeframe as I was thinking of referencing it as having happened in the past.

For the most part, this will not be connected to the anime. The Digital World is not widely known. Very few know about it, and although there might be some government knowledge of it, it is kept from the public. For canon reference, none of the animes are canon to this except through the Digimon Mutliverse explored in Hunters. There is a possibility that later chapters will involve visiting the Universe of Adventure, Tamers, Data Squad, or even one of the games. But for the beginning they are not necessarily relevant. It is notable, however, that I will be combining locations from anime/games as well as making my own for the digital world. The real world is the world as in real life. It would be fine if you were to have your character have some sort of tie-in to the digital world in the past. Maybe your character has had dreams or something similar where they have witnessed the events of different Universes? If you want to tie-in to the movie or something else canon to an anime/game, then PM some more details and I can probably work out somethinf for your character. I would do it here, but I'm unaware as to if you would be okay with potentially spoiling your character's story. |

Digivice Color: Charcoal and White
Appearance: Charlie has brown spiky hair, but usually hides them by wearing a dark green wooly toque. He's 5 foot 7 and has a thin build. His eyes are brown. He usually wears long sleeved shirts, even in summer.
Background: Charlie is a university student. He signed up for drawing classes. The handmade drawings are his jam, but with today's technology, many of his classes explore computer-gemerated drawings. He's struggling with that last part. Charlie is actually more into comics than manga (assuming we're in Japan hence why I'm making this distinction). His family is not really good towards technology. Not because they are poor, but by choice. Charlie and his family are the kind of people who spend their day outside and their weekends hiking, camping, etc. They're often not aware of the current news or pop culture because of their active lifestyle. They have a dog, a cat and a rabbit.

Rela World location isn't vitally important at the beginning so it's fine for players to live in different countries.

Unfortunately you already know how I feel about Digimon digi.
As of right now I have no interest in it at the current time. Maybe once it gets going it could change and I might think about it later but as of right now sorry Digi.

Appearance: Evelina is slightly overweight and of an average height. Has medium length black hair which is hidden underneath a different hat for each day of the week. She wears short-sleeve novelty shirts under a bright pink jacket and a pair of black jeans.
Background: Evelina lives in the Midwest where she’s recently taken up a Job as youth minister and she’s trying to seem hip with the kids... so far it’s only worked on adults much older then she is but, surely her genuine passion will shine through and she’ll be able to connect with these kids. Or not that’s still miles away at any rate. She’s been unlucky in love much to the chagrin of church leadership and the distress of her parents. Luckily she finds support in her younger brother who is crashing at her place in secret instead of attending college as his parents believe he is. She keeps herself busy taking care of her dog (and brother), organizing and attending church events, and reading in her free time.

It's fine if two players want the same species. I've already prepared multiple options either way, and I can work around it easily enough, so it's no trouble. I've tried to make all partners as unique and fun as possible.
