Magma Scar

Levi, Morgan

You proceed up the stairs.  It takes you to a small plateau containing a giant, sleeping dragon.  Looking out from the small plateau, you're shocked by what you see.

The entire area is dead and dry.  Desert as far as you can see.  More canyons like this one dot the land, but you don't spot the glow of magma beneath.  Everything outside a huge circle seems grey and lifeless.  Still.  Cold.

"Horrible, isn't it?"

The two of you whirl around.

The giant angel is floating between you.  She's easily twice your size, if not more, which makes it strange you didn't hear her arrive at all.  One of her six wings is pulled over her face, with her eyes just poking out between some of the feathers.

"It wasn't always like this, you know.  Everywhere was full of life.  Vivid, radiant.  Glorious.  Now it's just the areas protected by the guardian souls."  She gives you two a hard look.  "You were with Alice the other day.  Tom and Morgan, perhaps?"

Morgan, Levi

"I am indeed the one holding her.  And you... are definitely not Mattea.  She wouldn't have hesitate to attack me," the angel says.  "I suppose it doesn't particularly matter who you are.  Just idle curiosity."

She looks between you.  "You can't hope to challenge Dragon with just the two of you.  Or will you attempt diplomacy?"  Shrug.  "So long as I get the Fire Soul, I don't particularly care how you go about it.  But don't do anything foolish and get yourselves hurt."

Silver Needles

Mercia turns to the side. "In my dreams, I see the two worlds engulfed in flames. Sometimes, they simply burn to ash. Other times, the thirteen guardian souls come together, and a glint of light is born from their union, glowing brighter and brighter. Perhaps it is related to this blight." She turns to look at the dead hellscape surrounding the canyon. "Or perhaps not. Even if I'm wrong, I'm not simply content to simply sleep and allow this slow death to continue unchallenged. And I'm not the only one who feels that way."

Morgan, Levi

"Perhaps. Perhaps not," the angel says. She sighs. "I tried so, so very hard to get everyone to listen. But in the end only a handful of them would cooperate with me. Dragon up there tried to kill me before I could even finish explaining..." Another sigh.

Morgan, Levi

"Enough. I have asked the other guardians to help. I asked and asked and asked. Those that would listen have already joined their strength to mine. Now, I'll take the remaining souls by force. I don't have the time to answer question after question, and neither do you. And I'm not alone - I have eyes everywhere. What makes me the most qualified? I'm the only one taking action. Now you need to do the same. Bring me that soul and I'll release your friend."

Morgan

"Well then since you asked so nice and your not a total bitch about it,".

Morgan is a little bit pissed off about it. She doesn't want to really do this but well she can't really fight her off with just Levi.

Morgan joins Levi and trys to talk to the dragon
