Get a preemptive strike on the lizards with an Echoing Shout. Then activate Shout Drop Beat so an extra Echoing Shout activates at the start of next turn.
Morgan can get her own preemptive attack in if she wants. I don't think we can avoid fighting the lizards.

Levi starts barraging the Lizards with a bunch of sound waves. Of the 12 that don't run off, 4 are inflicted with Echo.
Morgan shoots one of them twice. It's badly damaged.
The ones that choose to remain turn and hiss at you.

Shout Beat Drop should give Levi another Echoing Shout at the start of this turn boosted with 2 Resonance Stacks. Those inflicted with echo shout cause the other salamanders around them to also be hit with another Echoing Shout at half strength, but all echoing shouts shout have a chance to inflict Echo. Levi will use an Aqua Shout, boosted with 3 Resonance Stacks and damaging all lizards. Those inflicted with echo should cause the other lizards around them to be hit with another half damage Aqua Shout. Activate Shout Beat Drop for another Aqua Shout at the start of next turn.

Levi lets out an Aqua Shout, with his previous shout repeating. It blows away the injured salamander immediately, and echoes around the others. The echoes cause half of the others to die, as well.
Morgan meditates.
The small lizards swarm over both of you, biting with burning-hot fangs before retreating.

You proceed down the now-cleared tunnel. A few of the lizards that ran off stare at you from inside the glowing orange cracks. They don't seem willing to come out and attack you.
The tunnel continues on inside the wall until it comes to another opening. It branches in two directions. The path to the right leads to the next bridge. The path to the left leads to the familiar glow of a portal.
