Digital World:Various Locations

"That's certainly brave of you. Still don't know why I'm here though. Anyways, gate?"

Charlie seems to want to get out of here before Kyubimon changes it's mind.

"So... Where are we again? I don't mean these ruins... I mean... Here. In general."

Nate

You walk a little farther and enter a large open clearing with cliffs dropping off on either side instead of walls. You keep going until you see the others standing around a glowing thing on the ground. It's geometric. There's a circle in the middle surrounded by four thin lines to make a square-like shape.

"Well, here you go!" Agumon says.

"Come back anytime. You guys rock!"Shoutmon yells.
"Let's play again sometime!" Guilmon chimes in.
"Call us if you ever need any help and we'll help you kick some more digi-butt!" Veemon punches the air as he says this.

"Whenever you're ready Nate." Monodramon says, failing to hold back his excitement.

Aaron

You feel your body lighten. And lighten and lighten and lighten. Then you can't feel anything. You're lost for a moment, then you feel someone grab your hand. "Just follow me." It's Gabumon.

You do as told and let him lead you. You can't see anything but light and streams. You can spot some 0s and 1s, but that's about it. Then, you can suddenly feel your body again and Gabumon's hand in yours. Finally, you open your eyes.

You're at a train station. Well, that's pretty much the way to describe it. There's noone else here yet. You see a small shop on the other side of the tracks with a digimon sitting in the window. The train is there, but it looks... weird.

Aiden

"Right thizzz way." Kokuwamon says. You follow him down the hall and take a turn or two, going through some rooms with nothing but crates. Finally, you arrive at a room with a blue circle in the middle and thin lines surrounding it. Looks like this is it...

Evelina

Marisol sighs exaggeratedly and says, "Wormmon."

Wormmon nods and turns to you. "Let's see, well. Marisol and I met in the Resistor Jungle on Dawn Island down below. We only met one person, Marisol's brother, and he ran off to play with his partner. We haven't met any digimon like that, sorry. I've been here for a few hours since Marisol woke me up and she arrived in the Digital World just before then. Marisol hacked into the gate's terminal to test her hacking skills. She broke it though so it won't work until she gets it up and running." Wormmon takes a breath.

"The gate just lets you teleport to other gates that are connected. Most of the ones on Dawn Island only go to other places on Dawn Island so we have to go to RAM Station to get to Iliad."

Charlie

"You're in the Digital World. This is Dawn Island and we're in Thriller Ruins." Salamon answers as you walk down the corridor.

Jeremy

"Ah, my dear boy. We are in my private Colosseum in an extremely secluded part of the Digital World, where no pesky onlookers will find us."

Aaron swaggers up to the ticket booth. "Hey there. Two tickets to... er... Hey, Gabbles, where are we going?"

Nate will step in the square. "Like...this?"

Jeremy

"Oh, my dear boy, that is one more question than allowed. So I shall only answer the first. You are here to take a little test. If you pass, then you will receive a glorious role that will bring upon you fame and riches! I do hope you're ready, because now that the questions are finished, our test shall commence!"

The voice doesn't say anymore, but on the other side of the ring, you see the air shimmer and something start to appear out of nowhere. You can't make it out at first, but once it's completely materialized... you're still not sure what it is exactly. It looks like a strange dog-lion with big, sharp horn on it's head. It's white and yellow and would be cute if it weren't snarling.

"Please welcome our challenger, Jeremy Milton! And for his opponent, our reigning champion of the ring, Seasarmon! I wish both sides the best of luck!"



The thing, Seasarmon apparently, continues to growl menacingly in your direction. It's started to circle slowly, waiting to strike. You can't escape. The best thing to do would be run, but you're not sure you could run fast enough or long enough to tire it out. Guess you have to fight. Somehow.

Aaron



The digimon smiles. "Why, of course! We haven't had anyone leave in forever! Actually, we don't charge for passage. Trailmon will be so excited! I'll go get some stuff to get ready for the journey and wake up the others!" The digimon is green and has a purple flower on her head. She seems to be a sentient plant.

She runs off somewhere inside. Then you hear a voice behind you.

Nate

Before everything disappears, Monodramon hug-tackles you and then it's all gone. You can't see or feel anything physical. Instead, everything is light and airy, with light and beams of color and numbers all around you. You feel yourself being dragged somewhere. "Come on, Nate!"

Then it all rushes back and you're in a sort of train station somehow. It's mostly gray and with some faded colored signs and paint all around. It looks like noone has used it in awhile... There does appear to be a train, or Trailmon you guess, but it doesn't appear to be doing anything or have any distinctive features from where you're standing, which is behind it. It's shaped kind of weirdly, you guess.

More surprisingly though, you spot a guy on the other side of the tracks with a blue and white coated digimon.

Monodramon's eyes light up with excitement. He starts running towards the other side. "Gabumon! Gabumon! It's Gabumon!"

Charlie

"I don't know... I don't know how you humans were chosen, but you were. I mean, I guess you don't have to help us if you don't want to, but I don't know how you'd get home either..."

You stop at a room with some more fences in a random arrangement, but more importantly, there's a glowing blue circle on the ground that's wider than you, with thin glowing lines surrounding it, but not connecting.

"Well, here's the gate. Are you ready to go, Charlie?"


Aiden

Kokuwamon tackles you almost immediately. "That wazzzz cloze." He says. You're not sure what he means and are probably upset considering being tackled by a metal bug isn't exactly comfortable when you notice that there's a gear slammed into the wall opposite of where you were standing.

Then comes the weird part. Several Gear-like creatures appear from behind creates, all looking unhappy. Your digivice beeps. "Filthy human! How dare you dodge our attack! Now you'll really pay!"

"But why?" Kokuwamon asks.

"If we turn in the human or his corpse then we'll be rewarded!" another of the group says.
They all seem to agree with the sentiment.

There's about ten of them. You're not sure you can run since you're surrounded, and any attempts to use the gate could leave you open, especially since you probably need Kokuwamon's help to operate it.

"Oh, do you know that fuzzy dude?" Nate looks up at Aaron. "My name's Nate and this little dude is Monodramon. Together, we're gonna bring JUSTICE to this weird dream world!"
