Oh, it turns out youe digivice was giving you data on all of these new digimon.
Let's see...
Yellow Dinosaur is called Agumon.
Red Dino is Guilmon.
Blue guy is Veemon.
Microphone guy is Shoutmon.
Digipedia updated. Later.
You all stop after running for a bit. You're probably a safe distance away now...
"Nate, are you okay?" Monodramon asks you.

Your digivice shines, and a beam of light bursts forth, shining on the ground in front of you. Suddenly, Gaogamon is there. He's a large blue, wolf-like creature with a red scarf. He's staring down Leomon.
Speaking of...
It looks like Gabumon and Terriermon are in trouble. Leomon ahs Terriermon by the ears and Gabumon's attacks don't seem to be doing much.
Then you hear Gaogamon speak. "What are you orders, Sir?"

"Thank you. If anything happens I pledge to keep you safe, madame." Coronamon turns.
You walk a bit farther towards a cliff. Well, more like the edge of the platform actually.
Below you see a weird pod-like creature with several long stringy "arms". It's holding several small digimon and it looks like it's not being gentle.
You hear your digivice beep.

Aaron does a 270 degree spin and points dramatically. "Kick that Shitcat's shins as hard as you possibly can!"

"Sir, yes sir!"
Gaogamon charges at Leomon, who's surprised by this new turn of events. Surprised enough that Terriermon's Bunny Blast to the face causes him to let him go.
Gabumon and Terriermon jump back to a safe distance as Gaogamon runs into Leomon. Leomon holds Gaogamon back, although he's losing ground. The struggle goes on for a bit, but your side definitely starts winning when Terriermon and Gabumon also fire at Leomon from a distance.
"Bunny Blast!" Terriermon shouts as a green sphere of energy fires off from Terriermon's mouth.
"Blue Blaster!" Gabumon shouts as a stream of blue fires blasts from Gabumon's mouth.
"Urrraaaaaagh! I will not lose to you humaaaaaan!" Leomon struggles to keep his ground.
Then Gaogamon rears up and slashes with both his claws. At Leomon's shins. "Double Claw!"
"Urggggh!" Leomon falls back, and collapses. Gaogamon disappears. as your digivice shines...
You all approach Leomon, it seems as if he's on the frits, like he's made of static. His face is filled with shock and pain. "Hu-human... You will all... die" Leomon says the words with pure contempt behind them, before he evaporates into millions of particles that float up into the air. You notice something left behind on the ground. It looks like a big, weird egg that's colored pretty weirdly. Then it too floats up into the air, very, very high up, then flies off in some random direction.
Well, that was... something.

It seems that a picture of the digimon below is on screen, with a name and information.
Chrysalimon, A Dark, free champion-level digimon. It's data crusher attack squeezes opponents intensely until they vaporize into data.
Coronamon looks very concerned. "I... I'm afraid I cannot win against him in a head-on fight against him, Madame..."
Charlie
"Well, normally I would sway away, but there's a gate we can use to meet up with the others if we keep going this way... I'm not sure if I'll be able to defeat whatever opwonent is on the other side..."
Nate
Monodramon shakes his head. "I dunno. Tyrannomon used to be really cool and let me ride on his back and stuff..." He looks pretty down actually.
Shoutmon speaks up. "Hey, don't worry! That's not the same Tyrannomon you used to know. That Tyrannomon was taken to the mainland, and replaced by this jerk!"
"Yeah, yeah! He hogs all the food and hurts all the weaker digimon!: Guilmon chimes in.
"That's why we're here! We're like freedom fighters!"Veemon says.
"We're not like freedom fighters we are freedom fighters, remember?" Shoutmon says.

"That's all right if we free the captives they become our reinforcements...umm that is if you think they'd be of help" Evalina replies trying to form a plan but, realizing she doesn't have all the information.

You turn the corner. You immediately determine the source of the voice is a large, yellow fox-like digimon. Actually, since you've been in Japan you can recognize it's some type of kitsune. Your digivice beeps. Thankfully not loud enough for it to notice you. It seems focused on using it's multiple tails as whips on smaller, defenseless looking digimon...

"We're not warriors of justice!"Shoutmon, well, shouts. Suddenly they each get in a weird formation making weird gestures.
Then Agumon leads, "We're the", they all join in, "Dragon Rangers!"
Veemon says, "Fighters for good!"
Guilmon,"Destroyers of Evil!"
Shoutmon,"With pure hearts and cool looks!"
Finally back to Agumon, "The Dragon Rangers!"
...
Monodramon turns to you. "Well, a long time ago, my friends and I were chosen and volunteered to go to sleep for awhile. They said we would only wake up when the digital world is in danger and we'd each have a human partner to help us protect the world. And that's you Nate. And you're so cool!" Monodramon does his excited jumping. "This is Limit Valley on Dawn Island, it used to have all kinds of cool digimon! But especially dragon digimon like us."

The DigiMemory page now shows Gaogamon's memory again, but now it has a bar at the bottom of it that says, "Recharge". It's a bit full, but it looks like it could take a bit before you could call him back.
Then the screen automatically changes. It looks like another objective.
Go to RAM Station.
Gabumon reads it. "RAM Station, huh? We can get there using the gate that's it Circuit Village."
Terriermon smirks and says,"Yeah! Let's visit the village and tell everyone how we beat Mr. Bad-Kitty-Breath! We gotta tell 'em they're free now."

Coronamon thinks about it.
"That would work, but it looks like all those captives are baby and in-training level digimon... Which is strange."
When Coronamon looks at you, he realizes that you don't really get it. "Excuse me, madame, allow me to explain. You see, digimon have different stages of evolution that they undergo in life. Of course, it takes training to reach higher stages, but most digimon can reach Rookie level. The stages are: Baby, In-training, Rookie, which is what I am, Champion, which is what Chrysalimon is, Ultimate, and Mega. Beyond Rookie, each stage becomes exponentially more powerful, with any hope of a lower stage digimon defeating a higher stage one next to none. So..."
Coronamon takes a breath. You're not sure if he needs to breath or if it's a theatrical thing. "you can see our problem..."
