Leia tears up and holds Natsumi as hard as she can, entangling them a bit more than they already were. She doesn't seem to be in any state to make any decision right now, not showing any sign that she'll end her grasp on Natsumi.

Arcadia enjoys a bit of relief in seeing that other girl saved, but is still consumed in panic. "Y-You got this, guys! You can take this damn mole! R-Right?!" She seems to be trying to encourage herself as much as encouraging the others.

"Yes, Mercia is indeed powerful... I challenged her to single combat and would have surely fallen, had the Earth Beast not intervened," Phenadran admits. He looks around, then walks over and takes a seat beside Levi. "Keep your chin up! Just tell me what I can do to help."
Tai
"Don't worry, I totally got this!" Kiran answers Tai's question.
He does not, in fact, got this. The mole goes for Arcadia's thread, and Kiran traps it in a box, stabbing it with several blue swords. But it breaks out, badly injured, but still alive. It dives for Arcadia's thread as Tai turns to unload on it.
Arcadia
You feel yourself and your cocoon starting to drop... then stop and bounce a few times.
Tai, Arcadia
The mole manages to get its claw on the thread, but it lacks the strength to sever it before succumbing to its injuries.
The bugs go on the offensive. One slashes at Tai, but he sidesteps out of the way. The other leaps on Kiran, pinning him to the ground as it stabs him several times. He's really getting worn down.
Just two bugs left, and Arcadia's no long in imminent danger... probably.
One of the bugs looks pretty seriously injured, but the other looks relatively healthy.
Leia
Natsumi giggles. "H-hey, wait, Leia! You're going to get..." Her warning comes too late. You're now hopelessly entwined with Natsumi. You aren't getting free without someone's help. "You're already stuck, aren't you?"
Natsumi reverts to her normal outfit, her mask disappearing. Her cheeks are stained from tears, and she looks like she might start crying again even as she lets out a light laugh. "No fair, I wanted to hug you, too. What am I going to do with you, you... absolute sweetheart? Come here." Natsumi does the best she can in lieu of a hug. She gives her a quick kiss on the cheek, then nuzzles her neck.

Or umm Somnis can we not visit with Alice?
I refuse to believe our choices are do an angle's dirty work and fight the fire guardian. Or the other choice is to let this Laura person die.
I refuse to accept those as the only choices we have.
"Umm I actually have an idea umm Mr. Earth guardian sir?". "What is the fire guardian like?". "Do you think he is someone that would help us out given the circumstances?.

Arcadia's expression softens as the situation's tide turns; well, softened as much as it could be for still being suspended above magma. "Thanks! Now don't die either! Just focus on winning!"

He turns to Morgan. "I've never met the fire dragon. So far as I know, none of the guardians have. He's a loner."
Tia nods in confirmation.
"I don't know much about him, either," Somnis says. "All I really know is that Laura's his daughter."

Tai heals himself while Kiran summons a bunch of knives to rain down on the enemies. Too late he realizes the potential issues there.
Arcadia
A steel knife embeds itself in your cocoon uncomfortably close to your chest.
Tai, Arcadia
The attack's effective on the enemies, at least. One of the bugs starts hemorrhaging fluid and spasming as it dies. At this point, there's no way to lose. You swarm the last insect and take it down.
You listen, but nothing else seems to be coming. For now.
Arcadia continues to dangle in a perilous position. She can hear Natsumi and Leia talking in hushed tones from a small tunnel in the side of the wall by that ledge.
There's the issue of what to do about Arcadia. And the issue of how to split up the loot from the monsters... Arcadia didn't exactly do anything. Natsumi performed her duty as a stepping stone rather admirably, but she was probably more burden than boon. And Leia... Well, Leia doesn't need to know what all you find. She's stuck down there, after all.
