"Raine I am glad your.....safe," Sam's voice begins to give.
Sam's chest is still pounding and she's having a hard time breathing. Sam's vision begins to fade as she has a hard time focusing and making her way to Raine.
"Raine, Freya, and Tia sorry please," Sam is unable to talk as her armor fades and her key returns to her hand.
Sam then faints in front of Raine, Freya, and Tia. Sam's eyes are closed and she's breathing pretty heavily. Her heart is still racing. It felt like the world was revolving before she fainted.

"Man..." Freya continues to drift along. "Hey, Raine, did you say that thing's face looked like a glory-"
"I'm sure you're misremembering things..." Raine says. "Ah!"
"What's- oh, hey, what happened to Sam?" Freya asks.
Tia continues to run towards the beach, pausing by Sam and looking between her and Raine in a panick, making some vague gestures with her hands.
Raine thinks for a moment, then her eyes widen. She grabs Sam by the collar, winds back, and slaps her across the face. "SAM! Focus!"
Freya jumps up. "Whoa, Raine, that's-"
Raine violently shakes Sam, then sprays her with water from her umbrella. "Get up, now! We need to run! GET UP!"

Sam
Raine slapping her and then using her attacks seem to cause her to stir a bit. Yet Sam is still breathing kinda of heavy and her heart is going a mile a minute. Sam is still has her eyes closed and she doesn't seem to be waking up anytime soon
"Raine safe," Sam whispers mumbles to Raine.
Sam tenses a bit when she remembers what she saw.
"Snake,". "Giant Snake,". "Save me," Sam is weakly mumbling to Raine.
Sam's arms and legs are limp and she doesn't have the energy to move her arm or legs. Sam can only muster to weakly wiggle a couple of fingers and toes.
"Don't want to die,". "Raine, Freya, Tia,". "Save self," Sam is mumbling while her eyes were close.
The combined effect of having a giant snake appearing in front of her. Having to confront her greatest fear while in the middle of battle. Sam using every last bit of energy to focus and save Raine. Plus after the relief of having the battle end. The combined forces of everything has drained Sam Mentality and Emotionally.

"We can't... Um...!" Raine seems to be panicking worse. "OK, um, well... uh..." She starts trying to drag Sam towards the portal. Tia grabs her other arm and starts pulling, too.
As Freya reaches the rest of you, a black... something erupts from the sand. It looks like a giant, fuzzy worm.
"Uh, um, um..." Raine says.
Tia hops in place.
"Tia, run! Just..."
"But..."
"JUST RUN!" Raine yells at her.
Tia hesitates, then sprints for the portal as the worm continues to rise.
"Freya, grab Sam and get her through the portal, OK? I'll, um, make a distraction?"
"What? I should be the distraction, you're-"
"I CAN'T CARRY SAM NOW GO!" Raine runs over to the worm and whips it, then takes off running for the cliff instead of the portal. The worm freezes, then disappears, then shoots out of the ground ahead of her path. Raine dodges to the side and keeps going.
Freya grabs Sam, throws her over her shoulders, and jogs towards the portal. Just short of it, she throws Sam inside.
Move to Beach.

Tai (Grant, Butts, Mattea)
You head through the portal first. As soon as you head through, Buttons and Mattea hold up their keys and transform. Buttons still wears his shroud and carries a shovel and lantern. Mattea's swimsuit turns into a fancy mask and green dress and heels as she hides her face behind a fan. Grant grows to be twice his size, covered in a brown, heavy metal plate and carrying a large maul.
The beach is swarming with monsters. Other than large worms poking their heads out of the sand, some stone golems are wandering around. You barely have time to get your footing in the sand and transform before a group of monsters move to attack you. Three worms and two of the golems attack.
You hear a whirring sound and a narrow stream of light blasts the front golem. Its embedded jewels shimmer and glow as it staggers in place before continuing to advance. A quick glance up at the cliff and you see two figures covered in black armor perched on the edge far above. One is laying on their stomach and aiming a giant laser cannon in your general direction. The other just seems to be standing there holding some kind of long stick. It's hard to make out at this distance.
FIRST WAVE
VS
WORM SQUAD
Leia (Natsumi, Freya, Kiran)
The second group waits just long enough for the first group to get into a fight then passes through the portal. Freya goes first and quickly transforms, covering herself in sporting pads and a protective helmet.
Kiran appears in a stage magician's tuxedo with a fancy half-mask and tall tophat. He takes it off and taps the rim with a magic wand before flipping it back onto his head. "Ready to go!"
Natsumi scans the area for a moment, then points. "There," she says. A group of three golems and two hermit crabs are making their way towards the portal and the ongoing fight. She changes into a pale blue one-piece swimsuit with a kappa-shaped mask. A shadowy cat appears at her side.
SECOND WAVE
VS
GOLEM PATROL
Nora, Sam (Alice, Tom)
The last group moves in, Alice taking the lead. She holds up her key and a rapier appears in one hand. Her clothes change into a white bodysuit with a pair of gloves. You can't help but notice she's the only one not wearing a mask of some sort.
Tom's outfit changes into a biker outfit with spiked shoulder plates, his sunglasses growing a bit largers. He tosses a chain over his shoulder and strides forward confidently.
The battles are already underway, and no monsters move to attack your group, giving Nora a chance to look around. It's immediately apparent that this place is not your world. For one, the sun's up and shining brightly. The beach's sand is warm, with no sting from the cool autumn air. The ocean stretches out into the distance, glowing a bright red. Behind the glowing portal is a tall cliff, like the ground was suddenly split open. Gems and minerals shine, exposed in the light, and a narrow path leads from the beach heading upwards.
"Right... Looks like the plan worked," Alice says. "Raine was heading towards the cliff. There!" She points her rapier at a set of human-looking footprints. More tracks - decidedly not human - appear as if they were following whatever left the trail. You follow the path with your eyes until it suddenly ends.
"Pitfalls, huh," Tom says. "We saw them last time we were here. Looks like we have a clear path to it, but better be ready for a fight as soon as we drop down."
Alice nods. "Nora, just hold your key and focus on the need to fight and protect."

Nora takes her key out of her purse and grips it tightly, closing her eyes. The power to protect... The power to fight. The power to soar through the skies... True freedom. The power to protect anyone from anything. Ultimate Power. The power to rival an angel... No, rival a goddess!
Nora's key begins to glow fiercer, and her appearance changes in a flash of purple light. Her business suit is replaced with a sparkling, shiny sleeveless black ball gown that falls down to below her knees, and silver high heels adorned with small white wings. A silver theater mask manifests over her face, covering everything but her eyes and lips, and her hair seems to grow longer and glow purple. Long, dragon-like purple wings sprout from her back, followed by a similarly styled purple tail with a devilish pointed tip. Gold bracelets and bangles adorn her arms, and gold earrings in the shape of crescent moons dangle from her ears. An ornate, heavily bound leather tome manifests in her hands, purple, black, and red words seeming to swirl out of its pages.
She's silent for a few moments, looking over herself and grinning. She flaps her wings and moves her tail, and opens her tome, her head swimming with new knowledge. She does a few basic kicks and punches and jumps, and starts to hover, her lips twisted into a huge grin.
"Oh my, this is beyond anything I could have imagined... I feel... Magnificent. We should be using codenames, no? Call me Malatyne, Lady of Lemuria and Mistress of the Arcane."

(I realise I lack skills that affect multiple enemies)
"Fi... Five monsters at once... Hum..."
Leia moves her hands as if she tried transforming into something fancy, but as per usual, her other world costume is simply a tattoo.
"Well... That's what I get for wanting to be boring and normal...
I know they're outnumbering use, but let's use a sandwich tactic!"
Leia will use Tennis Formation
Tennis formation: Leia convinces the party to split into pair, each duo going on a different side of the enemy. This results in the enemies being in-between each pair. This action always goes first and give every's ally move a slight chance to inflict Dizzy.

Sam
"I have to find Raine,". "I have to focus on that thought,". "Nothing else matters,". "I have to find her,". "Make sure she's safe,". "Have to make it up to her," Sam thinks to herself.
"Before we begin I would like to do something real quickly,". "If I am going to do this right then I need a brand new me,". "So please allow me to do this," Sam asks the group.
Sam will make sure her new weapon is equipped.
Sam will then take out 5 fish eyes, and 2 leathery wings and a light scale. Sam will craft new armor out of those material. Sam hopes that this new armor will be helpful in finding Raine.

Tai (Grant, Butts, Mattea)
Grant hefts his maul, marches up to the first worm, and proceeds to bash it on the side of the head like he's swinging a golf club. The worm recoils harshly, then turns around and bites his armor.
"Useless," he says.
Tai swings his tail and flings balls of golden light into the center of the enemy formation. One of the worms leaps out and bites Tai's tail, hard. It hurts. The last worm disappears under the sand.
Buttons holds up his lantern and a small ball of light goes floating out of it, drifting into Grant's chest.
Mattea twirls around a few times, dress flaring out, then gestures at Grant. "Go, Grant, go!"
"What... is that?" Grant asks. "I feel really... strong?"
One of the golems throws a large rock at Buttons, who ducks underneath it. The other golem walks up, leans back, then punches Mattea in the stomach.
Leia (Natsumi, Freya, Kiran)
Leia convinces the others to surround the enemy.
"Fine with me!" Natsumi says.
"I'm with Leia!" Kiran says.
"But-" Natsumi starts. "Um, OK."
Freya quickly produces a tennis racket from thin air and flings a tennis ball at one of the golems. It bounces off with a loud THUD.
Kiran holds up his sleeve and shows the inside as empty, then swings his arm and throws dozens of knives into the air that rain down on the enemies, but with little effect.
One of the golems walks up and punches Kiran in the stomach. Another flexes its muscles and flings shards of rock at Natsumi and Freya. Freya and Natsumi both take a hit, but the shadow cat weaves out of the way. One of the crabs takes a defensive stance. The other walks up and stabs Leia in the shin with its claw.
Natsumi makes a few signs with her hands. The shadow at her feet starts moving on its own, emerging from her own and splitting into its own entity. The cat hisses and lightning bolt falls from the sky, bouncing nearly harmlessly off one of the golems. It answers by punching the ground near Natsumi, sending some stone shards up at her.
Nora, Sam (Alice, Tom)
Sam's armor changes into a bikini made out of small, golden, armor-like scales. Small straps on her shoulders and thighs project short, fin-like wings, along with a wide tail.
Obtained Plesiosaur Armor (Water Res +10, Fire Res +8, Evade +8, Wind Res +4, Earth Res +4, Def +1, Electric Res -5)
"Mala...tyne...?" Tom asks.
"Code... names. Why have... Why have we not been using codenames?" Alice asks herself.
"Figure them out later," Tom says.
"Uh. Right." She shakes her head. "That look... really suits you. Very... regal. Wings... and a tail, huh... I feel a bit plain, in comparison. Can I-"
"Save the fashion talk for later, please?" Tom suggests. "Come on."
Tom takes off running to where the footprints end. He pokes around for a moment, then seems to sink into the ground.
"Looks like I was right. C'mon!" Alice yells. She runs forward and jumps. Her aim's a bit off and she less-than-gracefully lands half-in, half-out of the hole before sliding down.
Sam and Nora follow and drop down. You land not far down, inside of a dimly lit cave lined with gems and crystals. It's hard stone, wide enough for all of you to stand comfortably. A large hole right beside where you landed glows a faint orange, and you can faintly see a net-like webbing hanging over it. You see a white sandal stuck in it. A short distance away you see a scrap of white fabric sitting in the middle of the cave path. Alice puts a hand on Nora's shoulder to steady herself, leaning out to snag the shoe on the tip of her sword.
Meanwhile, Tom looks at the fabric. "This... is part of Raine's dress. I see another one further ahead. Looks like she might have been leaving a tra-" he cuts off and jumps backwards as a claw stabs out of the ground. A trio of moles come crawling out of the ground and start advancing on you.
Alice runs over to join the fight. "C'mon, we don't have time to waste on these small fry. Blow them away and let's get moving. Nora, I'll explain the intricacies of using a soul key later, for now just go with your instinct!"

Leia will use Alien Abduction on herself
Alien Abduction: A UFO comes from the sky and abducts an ally. It transforms that ally's attack into an AOE on the next turn and the UFO will take the damage for the ally until it's destroyed. Leia can use it on herself. When an enemy attacks the UFO, it reveals a weakness and a resistance. [Base]

He uses Pentagram Shot on the Worm right in front of him.

Nora grins, flexing her wings. "Go with my instinct, hmm..? Ah, rain inside a cave... I can work with this."
Nora will fly into the air and use Diamond Dust on the moles. "Turn to ice... and scatter into the wind!"

Tai (Grant, Butts, Mattea)
Grant swings his hammer over his head. "Trying to hide underground?" He slams it into the ground, sending out a shockwave. He leaps at the damaged worm with shocking speed and crushes it with his hamer.
Tai growls and aims at the other emerged worm. Mattea moves to his side and swings her fan. Tai launches a large, dark bullet at the worm as blades of wind shred it.
The worm starts lunging forward before Buttons slams it over the head with his shovel. It thuds to the ground. "Heh. Not so-" The ground beneath him shudders, then the other worm erupts from the ground beneath him. Buttons launches into the air then lands on his back a short distance away. "Ow..."
Mattea coughs, one hand on her stomach. "Pride... fall... you know the thing." She nearly falls over as she quickly leans back. A large rock thrown by a golem goes flying past her and slams into Tai hard enough to send him sliding back.
The other golem flexes, sending shards of crystal flying from its chest and hitting everyone.
Leia (Natsumi, Freya, Kiran)
A UFO comes flying by and snatches Leia into the air.
"Oh, that's a neat trick," Kiran says. "Two can... ugh... Two can play at that game!" He wraps his cape around himself.
Natsumi places a palm on her cat and it disappears into her hand. The shadow beneath her stretches out and coils around one of the golems, its upper body shifting into the form of a beautiful woman. Its hand suddenly shapes into a claw and slices the monster's leg. The golem pauses, then raises its fist and punches one of the crabs. Shards of shell go flying off, hitting the golem itself.
One of the other golems scoops up the injured crab and throws it at Freya. "Wha- MMMPH!" She goes rolling to the ground before the crab takes its claw and stabs her in the chest. "Ow, ow, ow...!" she yells. She scrambles back, smashing her tennis racket into the ball as it ricochets off the first enemy. It bounces off the injured golem and splashes into the ocean, slowly floating away. Freya kicks the crab in its face. It staggers around a moment, as if dizzy.
The other crab scutters towards Kiran for a moment, then turns and stabs the shadow's shoulder. Natsumi grunts in pain and grabs her own shoulder. The other golem moves towards Freya with surprising speed. It throws a low punch at her gut, but she rolls back out of the way.
Nora, Sam (Alice, Tom)
Sam starts dancing and some clouds appear, getting stuck on the ceiling. Water starts to fall, quickly forming a puddle of water. Nora hops up and drops down, stomping one of the moles in the face and sending a shudder through the water. Ripples rush through the puddle as it turns into a thin sheet of ice.
The moles look furious. The one Nora stomped slices her leg with its forearms. Another mole starts to rush towards her. Alice goes sliding across the ice, stabbing one of the moles with her rapier. The two of them go sliding away as she holds it in place. The mole flails its arms, slashing her repeatedly.
"Oi, oi, oi, oi!" Tom yells. He swings his chain in a wide arc, and it seems to stretch and slap all of the moles at once.
The last mole dives through the ice and into the ground, bursting from the ground behind Sam and hopping into the air, delivering a quick slash across her back.
