Once you start crying, Natsumi starts crying. She insists on holding your hand until your parents show up. "I'm sorry, I couldn't do anything to help you... I was ri-right there and I couldn't... I couldn't... I couldn't... even... move..."
Your parents show up and take you home.
Natsumi doesn't leave your side until she's forced to. By the time you finish checkout and the doctors talk to you and all that stuff - you're given a clean bill of health - it's almost time for you to be heading to school. Assuming Leia's even going today.

You get to the hospital. The nice lady at the front desk looks at the two of you, then the stuffed animal Morgan brought. She smiles. "And who are you two here to see? I think I can guess, but I still have to ask."

"That's what I thought," the nice lady says. She gives you a room number and some directions.
When you walk into the room, you find Alice half-asleep. She looks very tired. And injured. Much worse than she did yesterday. Other than her casts, she has an IV stuck in her arm and a heart monitor on her finger. The EKG's providing a steady, rhythmic beeping in the background.
The room has one surprisingly comfortable-looking chair for visitors. Alice's mother is stretched out in it with a pillow, blanket, and laptop. She's furiously pounding away at the keyboard with an annoyed expression. When she notices you, she breaks into a smile and snaps her laptop shut. She starts the process of getting up from under her nest.
"Come in, come in. Alice, you have visitors! Your darling friends are here." She taps her on the shoulder.
"Mmm...? Nnngh..." Alice struggles to sit up. "...Hi."

Alice senpai its so nice to see you. Its been rough at school without you around. I do miss you. Here I got you a couple of things I hope you like them.
Morgan hands the bag to Alice the bag contains pink fuzzy bunny slippers and a stuffed bunny.

"Um...Yeah, I got you a present too." Levi will give Alice the Prismatic Ore. "I found them outside. I thought they were really pretty, so I dug them up for you. I figured maybe a gift would help you feel better."

Alice's mom looks at the ore. She seems very curious, but doesn't comment.
"...You shouldn't have. Really. Morgan, I know you're on a budget. And Levi, you..." she struggles to wag her finger at you. It takes a lot of effort. "You shouldn't be digging for this sort of thing! You could have gotten hurt! And both of you, if you have time to worry about me, you have time to worry about other people! Isn't there someone else you should be more concerned about? You saw that I'm fine yesterday..."
Alice's scolding leaves her out of breath.
Alice's mom turns around and wags her finger right back at her daughter. "Alice! Now, is that any way to thank your friends?" She grabs the two of you in a hug. "She does appreciate it, really. She's just... you know."

Morgan returns the hug.
We know how Alice can be. I actually kinda of miss this in a strange way. But we are friends Alice you taught us so much. Two transfer students you took the time to reach out to us and teach us about school, the city, and everything.
Friends do this for one another we buy gifts for one another. We check on each other if one is not feeling well.
Don't worry we know we have a big project coming up and we haven't forgotten about it. But we wanted to see you still and just well umm be with you even for a little bit.

Alice sighs. "I'm not lonely. Mom's been here almost the entire time. And when she's not, Tom or Mrs. Randall is."
"Sweetie." Marin takes on the mom voice. "Say thank you to your friends."
Alice shudders. "Y-yes, Mom. Could you... give us a few minutes?"
Marin smiles. "Of course, Dear. I need to call a man about a contract anyway. I'll just be a few minutes."
She steps out of the room. Alice struggles to sit up further. "Look, I really do appreciate it. Or, I would. But I'm much, much more concerned about Laura. It's... so frustrating that I'm stuck here. I want to help so bad. But I have to just count on all of you, instead. It... It's just not fair...!"
You've never heard Alice... whining like this before.
