Umm would it be the two of us. I feel much better with at least two more people we trust. If we can talk Somnis, another one of the guardians (Tia or Grant), Tom, or two other people.
I have a feeling the dragon would have a better chance of talking to us if we had Tia or Grant with us.
If you want at the very least we can go and chart out the place to the dragon.

Umm still think its a crazy idea to try and talk to the dragon with just the two of us. Umm Crow is it a suicide mission for me and just to try and talk to the dragon with just the two of us. But if I want to be more like Kitty then I have to stop being a debby downer and live on the edge................

You know what Just has a knack for always surviving impossible odds. I chose to put my place in Just. Because you know what's the worse that could happen. In fact just the two of us talking to the dragon can't possibly happen.

You notice your phones both have two messages from Alice. The first is an individual (but identical) message to each of you, sent a bit after midnight. "Who did you vote for in the election? I promise I'm not going to get mad."
The second message is to both of you in one thread a bit after you passed out. "WHAT THE HELL DID YOU DO ARE YOU OK"
After you deal with explaining this to your parents/aunt, you're free for the rest of the day.

Levi texts Alice back. "It's okay. We saved Laura. I think I collapsed because I was tired after being set on fire and tossed off a cliff."
Levi's mom then comes into the hospital room. "Levi!" She runs to him and gives him a hug. "Are you okay? What happened?"
Surprised, Levi pauses a moment. "I don't really remember, sorry. I just remember passing by the fire station and then I woke up here." The first time Levi's lied in a while. It seems strange. "...Shouldn't you be at work?"
"Should I...What?" She lets go and looks at him. "Why would I be at work when my son is in the hospital? I left to come back here."
"Um...can a neurosurgeon really do that?"
"That doesn't matter right now! I needed to make sure you were okay. Now tell me what actually happened."
Levi looks off to the side, at the wall. "Uh...I don't know. I can't tell you."
She looks concerned. "Does this have to do with that boy I found staying in our house?"
"What? No! This has nothing to do with Grant."
"Then why didn't you tell me he was there? Do you know how I felt when I returned home last night to find my son missing and a stranger in my house!?"
"...I'm sorry."
The two are silent for a moment. Eventually, Levi looks at his mom. "Hey, do you mind if I talk to Grant alone for a few seconds?"
She sighs and gathers her things, standing. "Yeah. You can talk to him. When you're done, come outside with your friend. I'll drive you home before I head back to work."
She leaves and tells Grant that Levi's waiting for him before continuing down the hall.
