Since I haven't actually used it yet and Punk made it pretty clear in that PM that the WoP Spear would be more likely to cause complete and utter chaos rather than accomplish the intended goal even if used properly I'd like to swap it out for the Rainbow Sword. It may not have as many ways to use it (flight, projectile deflection and holy-elemental physical attacks compared to the WoP Spear providing a ton of buffs, debuffs and elemental attacks), but at least it's reliable.

Given that a fight may be inevitable here if Peri isn't able to use her exorbitant amount of money to make the mob goons go away I'm gonna need some verification on if swapping the WoP Spear out for the Rainbow Sword is okay. As brought up before the reason for this is because the recent information Punk provided in the PM between the three of us made it clear that the spear isn't a particularly good choice and that had this information come up before the game started (and I did ask before then, the timing just wasn't the best since he wasn't particularly active on the board at the time) I wouldn't have chosen it, combined with the fact that I haven't actually used the WoP Spear and only briefly even made reference to it in some dialogue that could easily be edited to retcon the whole thing out since there were no NPCs around to respond to it. The Rainbow Sword also existed within my VVM inventory well before the start of the game, so it's not like I'm trying to add something that wouldn't have been possible at sign-ups.

Area Boss!

Y'know how you're normally limited to one NPC following you around as a party member? There's no limit to how many you can drag with you to take on an area boss. In fact, expect them to be congregating towards joining in the fight.

But only one is officially in your party, so only one's safe if things go bad. So maybe be sure you're ready for a fight before opening that door.

I'm sorry, but I'm going to drop out of this game. I really don't mean any ill will by it. It's completely because of my own fault, not anyone else's. I apologize for being so sudden with this.

tbh there's a lot I would do differently with this now that I've got some experience with it. Hell, only 1 player's met their rival, and only 2 players have linked up. The central hub was put way too far away. I didn't think it would take so long to reach. And plenty about the writing/plot. But! Too late to make sweeping changes. Actually, is it? I can probably make a few tweaks.

Well, gee. Maybe I should just go full reboot on it.
