Dantalion
You step through the portal and find yourself in... an auditorium, looking at a large stage? Floyd and Leone appear on either side of you.
"...Um...?"
Oh. You're imp's here, stage left. Er, your right. On the left are a pair of... interesting characters. One of them is... that same mustachioed man you saw fighting that minotaur. Damn, that is a fine mustache. Except he has a white border and looks a bit... flat. Two-dimensional. No matter what angle you look at him from.
Behind him is a three-dimensional girl in a very strange, whimsical outfit. Big, baggy, white hat with blue stripes and a red flower-y design on the front. Short purple dress - really short - with blue diamonds and golden frills, white overcoat with purple diamonds and blue frills, large armbands in purple, blue, and white. Clown-esque cloth-looking boots in the same colors. Large, brilliant, purple eyes. And waist-length golden-blonde hair. Oh, and a humongous orange bowtie partially hidden underneath all that hair.
"Wow..." Leone mutters. "I can't decide whether I love that outfit or hate it..."
The flat-red-man has his hand under his chin and seems to be thinking. Then he starts to fold himself up like a... spring... and shoot into the air. He comes crashing down, lands on the imp and springs back up. He does a flip in mid-air as the audience around you goes crazy, then he slams the imp again. As he bounces back to his side of the stage, he strikes another sick-ass pose in mid-air. The crowd erupts again.
"That was impressive!" Leone gasps.
The clown-y girl stands with her arms crossed, hips wagging back and forth slowly as she thinks.

"I agree I'm not sure which side of eccentric it falls on" Dantalion adds in response to Leone's comment snapping his fingers behind his back the Imp yelps as it explodes. "Wooooah look it's that guy again.... but, Paper!?!" Floyd says excitedly clapping. "Yes quite interesting I think I've seen enough to classify this as my weirdest dream to date or some dimensional chaos either way this will be fun... this'll be the perfect time to show you how you will introduce me to a room this one time I will do it but, next time you will announce me here we go" Dandy says a grin stretching across his face as he cuffs his collar dramaticly taking a step forward. "Greeting mortals you are in the presence of Great Duke of Hell Dantalion the Eighth, 6th in line for the Dantalian throne and Demons Magazine's most eligible bachelor 137 years running" He announces before turning back to Floyd "then you announce yourself and any one else with us" he explains swiftly turning back to the crowd.

The girl raises her hands. "Hyaa!" Three shadowy dice appear over her head, and she hurls them at the imp as you explode it. She immediately does a backflip and pumps her fist while Mr. Flatstache adjusts his hat and gives the audience a thumbs-up. They let out one last cheer.
You're all set to give some huge speech when the entire audience of dozens of members just disappears. The background of the stage seems to come to life and you find yourself in a wooden room. A nice room, well-furnished. Polished wooden floors, a small table in-between two nice couches. A few other comfortable chairs scattered around, and a few decorations from various things.
The two that were on stage stand around muttering to each other... you think. Neither of them actually seems to be saying anything so much as making vague gestures with the occasional speech-ish sound.
Looking around, you see three doors. One is labeled 'kitchen,' one is labeled 'front desk,' and the last is labeled 'changing room.'

"Ha ha a disappearing audience clever clever " Dantalion says "I... what did you do that?" Floyd asks "Let's go with that you go see if you can get Stache and that terribly dressed clown to spill any beans I'm going to see if someone up front has any explanation" Dantalion commands before heading towards the door marked front office. Floyd shakes his head and walks over to the pair "Hi umm... good job with killing that thing did you guys get sucked into another dimension as well" He asks

You leave Floyd to chat with the two in here and head towards the front desk. Leone follows to stand in the doorway where she can see both you and Floyd.
Floyd asks the two if they've been sucked into another dimension as well.
"Oh yeah," Flatstache says, with a tip of his hat. The doofy one similarly makes some gestures in vague agreement.
You walk up to the front desk. There's a man dressed like a red mage talking with a sweet old lady. "I'm afraid no more beds are available..." she says. "We can provide dinner, but you'll need to find another place to stay the night."
"Ugh, what a pain," the man says.
"I could arrange for you to use our facilities, if you like."
"Nah, I'm not really interested."

Floyd nods "Great great so who are you?" he asks. Dantalion clears his throat "Excuse me mam could you tell me where we are?"

"Oh, you're at my inn. Er, I think. I don't recall it having a hot springs, but maybe my darling grandaughter wanted to surprise me?" She squints at you and adjusts her glasses. "Are you Mr... Dandelion? I have mail for you. And the room your darling little friend reserved is ready for you." She produces an envelope with your name on it and hands it to you.

Dantalion eagerly accepts the letter "That's pronounced Dantalion actually it's Latin now where would this room be exactly I saw the kitchen and the stage but, haven't seen any lodges?" He asks as he casually rips open the mail

"Stage? We don't have a stage..." She adjusts her glasses. "Let's see... Lodgings... Lodgings... Lodgings? Oh, yes, lodgings. Here's your key, Mr. Donkeyskin." She hands you a small, silver key. "Did you need anything else, dear?"
The letter only has two lines.
The missing book is hidden in a tent.
The master is locked away underground.
Super.

"No not really I don't have anything like that" Floyd calls back "Either of you looking for a book and or master" he asks the two imp slayers

Flatstache and Whitecap both place their hands on their chins and tilt their heads in synchronicity. "Hmmmm."
Leone looks concerned. "Master... It couldn't mean my guild master... Could it? But then why would he be mentioned in a letter addressed to you?"

Dantalion shakes his head "None of this quite makes sense... unless I accepted summons in my sleep again I shouldn't have a master" He replies before facing the Red Mage "Nice look, you missing a book or a master hmm?"

"Great how delightful for you" Dandy replies turning back to Leone "Well this calls for being more thorough in our exploration follow me we're going to the..... I'm feeling peckish the kitchen" and he heads towards the corresponding door

You head for the kitchen. You push the door open and a knife immediately embeds itself in the wall next to you.
"Vat are you doing in Pierre's kitchen!?" a short, portly man in a goofy chef's uniform demands. He's pointing a kitchen knife at you. There's a huge pot on a small stove, ingredients strewn about everywhere...
The knife sticking out of the wall next to you is not a cooking knife. And it wasn't thrown by this Pierre guy. A bronze-skinned, middle-aged woman is sitting on a stool in the corner. She lowers her arm after the throw and gives you a pleasant smile.
You can tell the knife came from her because she has several, several more in a bandolier and a belt. And one is missing. And she's taking out another one.
She repeats the process with lightning speed as Leone and Floyd enter. Leone jumps, reaches for her rapier, and puts two fingers on her forehead.
There's 3 knives stuck in the doorframe now.
"Gaaaah, out-out-out!" Pierre demands. "First, ze damned muffin thieves, now zis... Pierre must cook, but Pierre cannot vith all zees diztraction!"
