I really like what I've seen of Cloud's moveset. A projectile to give him an actual neutral game, a really fast dair with spike, approach options in nair and fair, a really reliable kill option with bair and a nice uair, solid jab combo, and Dedede down tilt with 7 miles of range and quick speed. The Cross Slash seems to be similar to Dancing Blade in terms of somewhat situational purposes. Limit Break looks good... But you have to give up time to manually charge it, so its value is debatable. I don't like recovery tho. Predictable, and it doesn't look like stage 2 recovery is worth going the route of Air Cutter and Aether with the downwards slash for an extra 8ish% with probably low kill power. Ftilt has YEARS of endlag too. Probably kills but eww. With just these moves, I could easily see Cloud getting into Top 10. Maybe offset someone with the help of balance patches, but Cloud still has a fair amount of lag behind nearly all his moves. Also, that gliding dash animation. Those top tier taunts. THAT ADVENT CHILDREN COSTUME THO. THAT MUSIC THO. AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH  |
