Erika takes a defensive stance at the front of the party. Lala darts forward and slashes at Erika, dealing 14 damage. Sam runs over to Erika and heals her using a salve for 36 health. Yorric then quickly attacks Lala twice for 13 + 13 damage.

Erika continues to guard her allies. Lala moves toward Sam and attempts to hit him with her blade, but Erika steps in the way and receives the 14 damage instead. Sam slashes the nearby Lala with his knife, dealing 8 damage and Yorric unleashes two slashes with his whipblade, dealing 13 + 13 damage.

"Alright, I'm getting bored of this!" Yorric is surrounded in a powerful energy as he crouches down and transforms in a flash of light, becoming a basilisk. "This should be MUCH more interesting!"
Sam holds his knife up to parry incoming attack this turn. Lala dashes toward Sam and strikes at him with her blade, dealing 10 damage as he attempts to swat the blade away with his own weapon. Yorric quickly moves toward Lala and rakes her with his claws twice, dealing 29 + 29 damage. Erika follows up with a slash of her own, dealing 3 damage.

Lala watches Erika carefully. Yorric continues to rake Lala with his claws, dealing 29 + 29 damage and recovering 29 + 29 health. Sam quickly moves in and slashes her twice with his knife, dealing 8 + 8 damage and recovering 8 + 8 health. Erika then lands a slash on Lala, dealing 3 damage and recovering 3 health. Lala then disappears and reappears behind Erika, leaving a large slash in her side and dealing 74 damage.
"Gah...!?" She stumbles back and holds her side.
