Probably Lucina right now, but I want to find someone else since she can't handle ranged attacks very well. Also, counters are okay, but when I use them, people usually miss their attacks and I'm vulnerable. I also can't fight in the air or on edges well. Any suggestions?

Hmm... When I'm Lucina in the air, I generally use FAir and NAir. UAir can combo into some throws, and DAir can Meteor Smash at higher percentages, although tricky. When at the edge, I perform a tactic like you saw when I was Shulk; I wait them out. I let them approach me, then quickly get off the edge by imputting down, then use Dolphin Slash to both recover and hit the edge guarder. Your air dodging is good, though.

Wow, you must be pretty serious about this, memorizing combos for multiple characters I haven't even seen you use.

I guess that's just how I am... I'm the type of person that "mains" 75% of the roster. I like to play as characters I like for their game or personality, like Shulk or Ness, but I also dabble in other characters like Rosalina. No Diddy or ZSS or Sheik, though. I just personally don't play as those "top-tier" characters on purpose. At my school, we have this Gamers Club where we have Smash U tournaments, and I usuallu get to at least finals. We do 2 stock, 6 min, single elimination. The stupid Vice President constantly knocks me out with his Shulk or Pac-Man, asides from 3 or 4 times... Oh, and knowing your opponent's potential with their characters is constantly key.

And my school is behind, too. We have a Quidditch club of all things, but the other high school around here has a Pokémon club and even a MLP club.

Oh, we have a Pokemon club. It used to be fun, but then they started doing competitive Pokemon battles and the fun dissipated quickly. Now it's all Stealth Rock and IVs...
