Vergilian's not really big. You're the one who inherited that old farm, right? You don't really look like much... But the mayor wants to meet you before you get to work."

Lerrault uncomfortably shuffles about from the boy's remarks. "Quite a presumptuous little brat, aren't we? But I'll overlook it, since your observations are correct... If you could, I'd like you to immediately direct me to your mayor."

Gloria breaks out a cane and leads you to your farm. She walks a lot slower than you'd like.
When you get to the farm, it's really... existent. There's weeds everywhere. Broken stumps. Rocks. The soil looks decent, where you can see it. Not that you're an expert.
The house itself is small and dingy. Covered in dust. But at least it looks functional. One room... Bed, dresser, simple kitchen. Two windows. Only the barest of decorations. A small chest sits right outside the door.
"So! What do you think?" Gloria asks. "Pretty nice, huh?"

"So long as you work hard and treat the land with love," Gloria assures you. "We took up a donation around the village to get you some really basic tools. Don't get excited, it's just enough to get started. Really, the least we could do. They're in that tool shed over there."

...Yes, this truly is the least they could do.
"Let's take a look at what what you're working with," Gloria says. "Look at your field."

"You'll need to carry Rocks, chop Stumps, or cut Weeds with your sickle to turn the land into Clear land. Then use the Hoe to till it to make Tilled land. Then you can plant your seeds. But make sure to water them every day until they're grown! Also, you can use Fertilizer on Tilled land before planting. It's expensive, but it's a permanent upgrade and you'll get better crops," Gloria explains.
"Alright, let's see what you've got. Get to work, young man."

Lerrault begins to mutter some useless thing under his breath, then decides to save it for the work ahead.
Correct my actions or stop me if I'm wrong because I might be misunderstanding the mechanics or stats, but: Lerrault works on tilling 3 plots of Clear land, then sowing 3 of the Turnip Seeds on the tilled plots, then waters the 3 Turnip Seed plots, then uses the sickle to weed 2 of the Weed plots.

You try to pick up the sickle, but don't have the strength left to lift it.

"Gah..." Lerrault mutters, out of breath. "Y-Yes, farewell for now. I'll be... agh... resting." Lerrault stumbles over into his house, deciding to retire for the day and sleeping.

"HEEEEEY!" You wake up to a loud pounding on your door. "GET UP! YOU NEED TO WATER YOUR TURNIPS OR THEY'LL DIE!"

If Ben is the only company Lerrault knows in his new life, he'll go mad. Lerrault heads to town. Unless "town" needs to be a specific location, in which case... to town hall.
