You tail the problem child towards the castle. Crow glares at him the entire time.
He inadvertently leads you to a long bridge over a wide moat. A pair of darknuts with turtle shells and huge broadswords stand on the far side. An elderly woman in a maid's outfit is waiting at the entrance to accept visitors.
"Hello, dear. How may I help you?" she asks Horatio.
"I know you..." Horatio says. "Strange. This isn't the Yuelian castle. Regardless, I'm here to speak with Queen Glinda."
"I'm afraid you must be confused, sir," the maid says. "This is the Mushroom Castle, ruled by Princess Zea."
Horatio groans. "...You are indeed correct. I'm confused. But I've been summoned to this world by an unknown force and I'd like to return home."
"I see. And your friends?" the maid asks, raising her voice so you can clearly hear. She glances over his shoulder and looks at you.

"We're not really friends. Horatio's kind of a scumbag. But it sounds like we have the same goal right now." Turn to Horatio. "You're looking for a way home, right? Gather all the spheres."

Crow and Ansei snort derisively at him.
"Spheres? The princess said to be expecting someone like that. Would you be willing to come and speak with her? She'd greatly appreciate it," the maid says. She glances at Horatio. "Not you."

"Of course. Please proceed to the throne room. I'll be going ahead to announce your arrival." The silver-haired old woman makes a few gestures to the darknuts, then gives you a curtsy and sinks into the floor.
"Hmph. Show-off. Though that would be a useful trick..." Inari mutters.
Horatio storms off, fuming.
You proceed into the castle, following the clear path to the throne room. Inside, you find a woman in a pink-and-purple dress, with flowing blonde hair with brown streaks. She has pointed ears and a small crown. She looks at you and rises from her chair. "Greetings. I am princess Zea." Her voice sounds kind of flat. As she descends the steps from her throne, you notice something in the lower back of her dress poking up just a bit... like a tail. "And who, might I ask, are you?"

"Very well. I shall call you... Cathead," the princess says. "I don't know much about the spheres, but legends say that should the 6 spheres be repaired and placed into the altar, our world shall be made whole."
While she talks, you notice that her shadow has its own eyes. When it notices your noticing, it grins at you.
"You bear one of the orbs, yes? Let me see it. I may be able to help you along your way."

"Sure." Take the orb out as if taking it out of my pocket and hand it to her. "So what does it mean by 'making the world whole'?"

You had the princess your orb. "Green, hm?" She reaches into a pocket and produces a small, green shard. With a few tries, she manages to find where it fits on your busted sphere. When she lets it go, it falls off again. She frowns. "Try putting the shard and the broken sphere in the statue in the town square. If the legends are true, that oughta fix the stupid thing."

You head to the castle, trying to keep pace with Celica. Nyl casually follows behind in the formation, tail swishing as she walks.
A grey-haired old lady in a pristine maid uniform greets you at the entrance, at the end of a small drawbridge guarded by a pair of Darknut-koopa hybrids. She gives a small bow. "Hello. Welcome to the Mushroom Castle. How may I help you, travelers?"
Celica stops in her tracks. She actually takes a few steps back and moves in front of Fuzz, reaching for a grenade. "This woman... is extremely dangerous. And brimming with malicious intent."
Nyl snaps her tail like a whip. "...Oh. Wow. Yeah, she is."

Umm well we just heard from our friend Just the guy who looks like a cat. He mentioned the princess and orb holders.
Me and my friend Fuzz over here both have orbs.
X shows the old lady his orb.

Take a closer look at the castle. Does it look like some sort of hybrid between Bowser's Castle and Ganon's Tower or Peach's Castle and Castle Hyrule?
(Just in case you're all going to flip out again over not hearing from me for a little while I'm going to point out now that Mondays are busy days for me, specifically this one and next Monday since they're the last ones of the semester.)

Mostly the not-evil two, but you spot a few spires and whatnot that seem more like the evil counterparts.

"I see," the maid says. "The princess will want to see you immediately. This way, please."
Celica doesn't seem to like this, but follows along,
She guides you to a large audience room. A few more guards, mostly the darkoopnuts, line the room. The maid steps around the corner and disappears by the time you enter the room.
A woman in a pink-and-purple dress greets you from a throne, rising to walk down and greet you. You notice the back of her dress is perked up a bit... "Greetings! More orb-holders? I..."
Your UIs pop open. Just says something about finding some quests that have shard-rewards. You can read about that back in the Square thread.
The princess perks up. "Was that Cathead's voice? I see. Brave Cathead has already advanced our quest... You are orb users, I assume? May I see them?"
Celica and Nyl seem more interested in figuring out where the maid went.
