With everything together, you decide to proceed onward through the forest. As you reach a clearing, you see a massive, winged lion flying above you. It has a scorpion tail as well. The massive beast doesn't seem to have noticed you yet, but...
CRASH!
It knocks over a few trees with a massive claw, causing a few fairies to scatter! The beast then catches them and proceeds to consume the screaming fairies. "Give me your souls so I can become more powerful...!"
What would be the best decision here...?

The beast turns his attention over to you. "GRAHAHAAAA! YOU THINK I WOULD REALLY FORM A CONTRACT WITH YOU TO TAKE SOULS? WHAT'S STOPPING ME FROM TAKING YOURS RIGHT THIS MOMENT!? GRAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!" The beast reaches for you with one of his massive claws.
"Loading..."
In a bright flash of light, you find yourself moments before you spoke to the beast as it was eating some fairies. Seems reasoning with it won't work. Not the way you tried anyway...

You casually walk past the demon. Seeing as it's busy, it hardly even notices you or pays attention to you. Actually, you manage to make it past the clearing without any difficulty at all.
But...are you truly ready to leave and head into the city?
