Yulliean Town Center
Lana was making her way through town along with Charlie. Lana was dodging people who were either running towards there house. The people were trying to get inside away from the flying monkeys and other abominations making there way towards the palace.
"Charlie the witch is attacking,". "I really hope mom, Cia, and the others will be fine," Lana told Charlie.
"That's why we should hurry and try to find some help quickly," Charlie reminded Lana.
"Your right, but where could the other generals be?". "Not like mom ever lets me know about that type of stuff," Lana told Charlie.
While Lana and Charlie were walking and talking they began to notice a crowd of people gathering just outside the town center. Lana was trying to see what was going on but couldn't get a good look.
"Excuse me Miss," Lana said to one of the townspeople around her.
The towns person looked over to Lana.
"What seems to be the big commotion?" Lana asked.
"Well dear, it seems like some strange person ended up in the fountain,". "It's almost like they appeared out of the Blue,". "What's even more strange is that some appear to be human but well some appear dog like I guess you can say,". "Most of the people here are unsure of what to do about them," the towns lady said to Lana.
"Thank you very much miss," Lana said.
Charlie was staring at the strange fellows watching them talk amongst themselves and starting to climb out of the fountain.
Lana and Charlie walked away from the crowd and towards an area where it was less crowded.
"Do you think they are the Outlanders, mom and Cia were trying to summon?" Lana asked Charlie.
"If not they could be the strangest locals I have ever seen,". "But one thing though one of them looks like they are about your age,". "They certainly seem worth investigating," Charlie told Lana.
"Yeah but how can we talk to them without drawing attention?". "Not like I can just say to them hey I am the princess of the kingdom, follow me with all these people around,". "Plus I can't just bring them to the palace right away without knowing there intention," Lana told Charlie.
"Well lucky for you I have a plan," Charlie told Lana.
"Hmm I had an idea as well we might as well brain storm," Lana told Charlie.
Charlie and Lana then began to talk amongst one another about what they should do about the people of the fountain.

June groans. Loudly. "Dagnabit. I can hardly just turn down someone asking for help. I don't guess I have much choice. My fiance will understand. I hope." She reaches up and pulls her bridal veil off. "I don't really get all this talk about emeralds and magic, though."

Glinda thinks for a bit. "Interesting... I shall see whom among the research staff is willing to volunteer to assist in locating these jewels. Alas, I have some duties I must hurry to, such as coordinating relief efforts and assessing the damages." She turned to the rest of the Outlanders. "Lodging will be prepared for you all in short time. You are free to remain here or wander the castle with a guide, though I must request that you do not interfere with official operations. Now, please excuse me."
Glinda bowed to the group before leaving with her group of guards. Irving spoke after a few seconds passed.
"So... If we're doing this, who's gonna be the leader? Not it, by the way."
After Arceus-knows-how-long of walking, John Doe finally arrived at a place called Cervan's Rest Stop. It was less of a town and more of an outpost, with a motel, some shops selling traveling supploes, lots of wooden benches, restrooms, and only a few mobile homes.
As John Doe passed through the town, a red haired, ponytail'd woman wearing a large backpack eating a burger noticed him and made a double take. She stood up and shouted with her mouth half-full.
"Hey! You! In the tux!"
John Doe looked around to see that he was the only one dressed the part. "Me?"
The woman chugged some water to swallow her food. "Yes, you!" She gestured to the seat in front of her. "Sit down for a moment, I wanna talk to you!"
John Doe thought about it briefly before deciding to hear her out. He walked over and sat on the bench.
Why do I feel like I know her from somewhere?
"Before you say anything," said Doe, "I'm broke and already have a girlfriend, so if that derails what you wanted to talk about, I really should be going. In a hurry."
In a hurry to find answers, anyway.
"Oh no, it's nothing like that!" exclaimed the woman. "...Well okay, it's about business, but-- anyway, I'm Anna. I have a question: What form of currency do you use?"
...Well if nothing else, I can at least confirm something.
"...Pokedollars?"
Anna laughed briefly. "I knew it! You're new around here, aren't you?!"
Great. Now Yancy's going to be worried out of her mind once she realizes I've vanished.
"...Something like that."
"Aww, drop the tough guy act for a few seconds, will ya?" said Anna. "Anyway, welcome to the land of Oz! It's an... okay place to live, I guess... Until the monsters attack."
John Doe stared blankly at her without saying anything.
"...Anyway, I'm not sure about the details that brought you here, but my sisters and I run a business that can help you in ways you'll really like!"
"What makes you different from any other business?" inquired John Doe.
"Well," replied Anna, "since this world is probably totally different from yours, the first thing you'll probably notice while visiting other shops is that they lack certain... commodities that would be common place in your world."
"Like what?"
"Like this!"
Anna pulled out a familiar container out of Annaspace. John Doe frowned once he realized exactly what this meant.
"She's got you there, Josh", whispered Grinn. "Can't say we'd get very far if we'll eventually end up Struggling to unconsciousness."
"Free sample?" chimed Anna, holding the Ether out toward Doe.
He reluctantly took the medicine. "How did you get this if they come from my world?"
Anna winked. "Sorry! Trade secret."
"...Fine. I get it. You have stuff pulled from my world and, if I'm not the only one from another world brought here, probably other worlds to. Can you at least tell me what currency you use?"
"I can do better." Anna reached out for his hand and slapped something onto it. "Here you go! 20 gold. It's not a lot...at all...But it can get you started on the road to getting more money for you to spend with us. Consider it an investment."
"Thanks", said John Doe. He stood up. "Anyway, I really must be going. That way is the route to the capitol, right?"
"Yeah, but you're not gonna be able to walk in there", said Anna. "Capitol's under temporary lockdown. Trust me, if they were open to the public, I wouldn't be sitting here daydreaming about how much of a killing I would be making if I weren't turned away from entering."
"Do you know why?" asked Doe.
"I saw smoke and a missing radio tower -- at least from where I was standing -- so they were likely attacked. Since it's probably important that you enter anyway, you're in luck! I got this cloaking--"
"I think I can manage", Doe interrupted.
Anna pouted. "Bummer. Anyway, now you know who to hit up! We have stuff from medicine to replica weapons of people you might recognize to grenades to--"
"Broke", Doe said, reminding Anna of his financial situation.
"Sorry. I'm sure you get the memo.
...Word of advice though: one my sisters had a little... accident... Now she's kind of gone rogue... and the stuff she sells are a bit... Anyway, just be on the lookout for a merchant who really likes the color purple, don't let my investment go to waste, and you'll be fine!" She flashed a wide, sinister smile, stood up slightly, and reached for something in her pocket. "And hey? Get rich enough, and you'll be able to afford--"
John Doe quickly stepped back, turned around, and went back to his trip. "Goodbye, Anna!"
Anna paused as her potential customer didn't even look at the red card in her hand. Her expression deflated slightly. "Phooey... Ah well, he'll be back!"

"Leader? What exactly do we need a leader for?" June pulls her horse over towards the edge of the room and away from Jasper to stop him from bearing down on the frail teenager. "I suppose I can see some point to it, but wouldn't it be easier for them to put someone from this world in charge? Seein' as we're all out of our element and all. I don't even recognize half the weapons ya'll're using."

"Truth be told I am more of a do things my own way type of person,". "Not really the leader type.," Sonic said.
Bowser looks annoyed that no one has mentioned him yet.
"Well I guess I could step in and lead," Sophie suggested.
"I am captain of the royal army and I have lead a group or two..," Sophie was then interrupted by Bowser.
"Enough already, if anyone is going to be the leader here it's me," Bowser roared.
"I am an actual King and run a kingdom,". "I have lead multiple armies, across multiple times, and multiple places,". "I have made multiple plans in the heat of the moment,". "I was even successful in a couple of those plans,".
"How many of you losers even know what it's like to lead?". "You chumps would be tripping over yourself if you one of you losers were in charge,". "The answer is beyond clear, the only one capable of being in charge is me, and know of you losers are even close," Bowser proclaims triumphantly.

"Lady," Irving said to June, "I'm a bo-- merc, and if there's one thing I learned on the job, it's that nobles like takin' advantage of folks like us. I'd feel safer with one of our own takin' the helm, rather than be constantly wonderin' if we're being had.
...though that big one looks like he's easily tricked too", he growled under his breath.

"I have some experience as a commander for a small group," June admits. "But I feel... what's the phrase? Out of my depth here." Mercia blinks, a wave of eyes undulating from head to toe.

Lana and Charlie head down to an empty ally where there isn't anyone around. Lana then places the Ruby necklace around Charlie. "Okay Charlie I need you to get close enough to them,". "Then I can go ahead and create a portal to bring you and the Outlanders to me," Lana said to Charlie.
"Are you sure I should just run up to them though?" Charlie asked.
"Yeah who knows if they are really to be trusted," Lana said.
"Hmm you have the necklace and I can still watch from afar to see if they can be trusted,". "Let's go back to the square and watch a little longer to see what's going on,". "If I feel comfortable bringing them to the safe house I can always give a sign," Lana said.
"Yeah that can work, okay then give me a sign to go get them," Charlie said.
Lana and Charlie then went back to the Town Center where the Outlanders were just getting out of the fountain.

Location: Town Square
First Morgan got out of the fountain dripping wet and her hair and cloths ruined. Next came Mario who somehow seemed dry despite being dunked into the fountain twice. Starlow was floating the entire time and was kept dry. Finally Catie came out and she began to shake (like a dog does when they first get out of the bath) to dry her self. The fur on her tail went all puffy and her hair was a mess.
"Dammit all I wanted to do was go on a date with my girlfriend and now I am a mess,". Morgan whined. Morgan looked into the fountain and saw her purse floating in there along with her wallet, phone, soul key (which to everyone else looks like a white key) and ferrets(?). Morgan jumped back surprised to see her ferrets swimming towards the edge and then finally staring at her.
"Oh no," Mario let out seeing the strange creatures.
"Oh what are these snake like creatures called?". "I never seen anything like that in Arstur before," Catie said staring at them. Catie began to sniff the two ferrets in order to pick up there scent. The ferrets looked at Morgan confused at why the Pink hair dog lady was sniffing them.
Morgan just sighed as she took hed purse and other stuff out of the fountain and just let out a groan about what was going on. "Geez crazy stuff like this doesn't happen unless Karl is around,".
"I wish me and my stuff were dry," Morgan said. Unbeknownst to anyone but Starlow a tiny ball of light flowed from Morgan into her. The ball of light was a symbol of a wish that the Star spirits could see and in return use that energy to grant a wish. For something as simple as being dry a young star spirit like Starlow could easily do. Starlow let loose a blast of energy, which is invincible to the naked eye but to starlow looked like a wave of light, towards Morgan. Morgan mere seconds after wishing to be dry was completely dry along with her belongings and ferret.
Morgan was completely surprised at being completely dry and was unsure what happened. Her stuff was floating in a waist deep fountain soaking wet but now it was like it was never wet at all. Morgan checked her phone to see if it would work and despite being out of service range everything worked just fine.
"What just happened?" Morgan asked no one in particular.
"Oh I just granted your wish to be dry," Starlow stated.
"Wait you can grant wishes?" Morgan asked Starlow.
"Well that's the job of us Star Spirits we gather the wishes of the citizens of the Mushroom Kingdom," Starlow told Morgan.
"Why does that sound very similar to what happens in Cardboard Nario?". "Or those mangas and shows I watched?" Morgan wondered allowed. Starlow and Mario stared at one another unsure what a Manga and Cardboard Nario was.
"Anyways you can grant wishes right?" Morgan asked.
"Well Kinda," Starlow replied.
"Well I wish to be sent home right now," Morgan said to Starlow.
Unlike with the last wish no ball of energy flowed towards Starlow.
"I am afraid I can't grant a wish like that," Starlow told Morgan. Morgan then had a look of defeat and she began to have (anime) tears streaming down her face.
"But I though you said a Star Spirit were meant to grant wishes," Sam said.
"Well yes, Star Spirits do grant wishes,". "But well you see I am still kinda of young myself,". "First off I am not even sure where her home is,". "Second I don't even know where we are, and how far we are from her home,". "Finally, a wish like that it would require an older star spirit, multiple sprits, and/or our greatest treasure the Star Rod," Starlow said to Sam.
"Stupidyellowfloatingballgettingmyhopesupandjustdashingthemlikethat," Morgan mumbled under her breath.
"Wheres the yellow ball thing at?" Catie asked Morgan.
"Wait how were you able to here that," Morgan asked Catie.
"Oh that's simple I am a wolf laguz and I have super sensitive hearing," Catie said to Morgan.
"Laguz?" Morgan asked kinda of confused.
"Oh we met someone like that but she was a bird Laguz her name is Sophie," Starlow said.
"Oh that's really neat so she can turn into a bird," Catie said.
"Yeah she can turn into all sorts of bird like creatures, by using different stones she calls them bird stones," Starlow said to Catie.
"Oh she sounds very interesting,". "I would sure love to see her one day,". "Oh right Morgan here probably never seen a Laguz before," Catie said to Starlow.
"Well that's not entirely true, I have seen these human/ beast like hybrids before,". "There's this game called Flame Symbol, where it has these units called Laguz that can turn into a variety of animals," Morgan said to Catie.
"Come to think of it Mr. Mario over here is very similar to Nario,". "Nario is a carpenter who has to save his beloved from an evil dragon/tortoise creature thing.". "Wait a moment did I end up in a video game or something?" Morgan asked outloud.
"I don't know about Video Game but anyway what a Laguz is someone who uses Life Magic and a certain stone to turn into an animal of sorts,". "My tribe was able to turn into a giant wolf but well I am the only one left,". "I do have two kids at home, Barry and Silvia but they are half vampire and half wolf laguz," Catie said to Morgan.
"Wait how does that even work?" Morgan wondered out loud.
"Oh that's simple silly when a daddy vampire and a mommy wolf Laguz love one another," Catie said to Morgan.
"Umm Catie I don't think she meant it literally," Sam said to Catie.
"Oh right well my husband is named Baron and he is a half Vampire and Half Human,". Catie said to Morgan.
"Oh umm yeah right," Morgan replied to Catie.
"So don't you think we should find someplace to rest for the day," Sam suggested to the group.
"Oh Yeah," Mario said in agreement.
"Hmm not a bad idea but well we don't even know if any place here accepts any of the currency we have," Starlow said.
"Well I have some Cash on me and a credit card I can use but yeah I don't even know what's considered ligament payment around here," Morgan said.
Meanwhile in the Crowd as they began to mummer amongst themselves. Lana motioned for Charlie.
"So what should we do?" Charlie asked.
"I think they seem safeish enough,". "Well at least something that can't be handled,". "Plus at the very least we can't just let them wonder the streets,". "At the very least lets bring them someplace where we can talk and get a better understanding before taking them to the palace," Lana told Charlie.
"Okay then get someplace safe I will get them," Charlie told Lana.
"Okay I am counting on you," Lana said to Charlie taking off towards a quiet area.
"Welp time to go fetch them," Charlie said taking off towards the Outlanders.
Before Morgan, Mario, Catie and the others could leave a German Shepard came out of the crowd and straight towards them.
Sam hoped onto Catie's shoulder and hiss towards the dog. Catie's tail began to wag back and fourth and she was trying to study the dog. Morgan and her ferrets were hiding behind Catie and staring at the dog. Mario looked unsure on what to do and kept his distance.
The dog then began to bark and make varouis movements like he wanted there attention.
"Sorry boy but I don't speak barks, we are sorry for making a scene," Morgan told the dog.
"No it's not angry at us I think it wants our attention," Catie said out loud.
"If you want answers follow me, somebody important wants to meet you," Charlie said in between the barks and in a low tone.
"You want us to follow you, somebody wants to see us," Catie asked the dog. Charlie nodded his head yes before a ruby portal opened up behind him.
Charlie looked towards them then ran into the portal.
"So do we just follow him?" Morgan asked Catie.
"Yes, he didn't seem mean or vicious, it was like he was following orders," Catie said to Morgan.
"This could be a trap," Sam said to Catie.
"I don't know he seemed genuine, and his owner must be somebody important if they can pull this off,". "Besides if anything happens we have Mario and Morgan here," Catie told Sam.
"But can they fight if we have too fight," Sam asked.
"Don't worry about him, Mario may not look the part but back home in the Mushroom Kingdom he's kinda of a well known hero," Starlow said to Sam.
"I have a special key that grants me powers so I can fight if I have to," Morgan tells Sam.
"Okay then well lets follow that dog then and see what is going on," Catie said as she charged into the portal. Morgan and Mario followed after her as the portal began to close behind them.
The crowd was surprised at what just happened. They never seen a portal like that before and were unsure of what just happened. Evetually, after the whispers died down the crowd of people around the fountain began to disperse.
Location: An abandoned warehouse
The portal opened as Charlie and the Outlanders came through and a lone hooded figure was there to greet them.
"Hey brought them like you asked," Charlie told the hooded figure.
"Thank you Charlie," the hooded figure responded.
"Okay then who are you and why exactly did you send your pet to come and get us," Sam asked.
"Well simple I couldn't reveal my identy with all the towns people around," the hooded figure said to Sam.
"I needed a place where we could talk in private and well this place is pretty closed off and enough space for us to talk,". "So then should we begin with introductions," the hooded figure said as she took off her hood.
"Who are you?" Morgan asked the young lady.
"Oh right I should probably start with who I am and where you are,". "Outlanders sorry for the rough introductions but I am Princess Lana, and you are in the kingdom of Yuliea,". "You were summoned here because the land I live in Oz is in terrible danger Lana said to the Outlanders.

"Summoned?" Morgan yelped out.
"Oz," Starlow said like she had to say the name again.
"Your a Princess," Catie asked.
"Whoa whoa whoa one at a time I will try to answer your questions as best as I can,". "Oh and just a word of warning, as you can see I can make portals anywhere around this kingdom,". "So try anything funny and the entire kingdom will be here in mere moments to arrest you," Lana told the Outlanders.
The Outlanders nodded in agreement even though Catie seemed oddly disappointed that Lana said no funny business.
"Okay, then let me begin where are we exactly?" Sam asked Lana.
"Hmm well to put it simply your in the land of Oz,". "Oz exsits on top of a giant space turtle named Roshi and Roshi kinda of just drifts through space endlessly,". "There are two kingdoms in Oz one I don't really know that much as some of the others in Kingdom would know about,". "They are called Espheus and they are our neighbouring kingdom and well our rival kingdom,". "This kingdom is called Yuleia and is under the protection of my mom Queen Glinda," Lana said to the Outlanders.
"How old are you?". "You cant be that much older then me right?" Morgan asked Lana.
"Oh I am only 18 myself and I still have a lot to learn about the Kingdom and the land of Oz," Lana told Morgan.
"Neat your only 2 years older then me, phew I thought you were some adult who was like years older then us," Morgan said to Lana.
"Now that you mention it is kinda of nice to know that among the Outlanders there is someone my own age,". "But why would the ritual pull in a teenager?". "Do you have any special powers or abilites?" Lana asked Morgan.
"Oh yeah I have this key that can grant me special powers and abilities,". "But it doesn't seem to work unless I am in the other world,". "Hmm it cant hurt to try and see if it works here," Morgan said taking out her Soul Key.
"Hmm if you don't mind trying I would love to see what this Soul Key thing is," Lana said to Morgan.
"Me too I am very curious what that white key can do to, please Morgie," Catie pleaded with Morgan.
"Okay I can try but no guarantees that this will work," Morgan said taking out her Key and holding it tightly. Morgan began to concentrate on the key hoping it could work. The Soul Key began to respond to Morgan and began to glow brightly.
"Huh that's weird," Morgan said as she begins to become surrounded by a bright light. The light completely surrounded Morgan as her cloths transformed into what looked a White jacket and a pair of puffy black pants. Her shoes are replaced with a pair of straw sandles. The key transformed into a blade but it had a handle and a revolver in it. Finally, her blonde hair was now bright Pink and she had a scarf covering the lower half of her face.
"Oh wow that is so very awesome," Catie said in amazement.
"Wow that's certainly very interesting," Lana said in amazement also.
Morgan then lowered her scarf so she could talk to Lana and the others. "Oh neat looks like the Soul Key does work in this world after all,". "So the Soul Key from what I know it's power comes from my soul and that the more bounds I form and the stronger I become,". "Oh and that my current appearance represents a part of myself,". "Apparently I see myself as a female swordswoman from this series called Last Fiction, who's a badass, has pink hair like I do, and weilds the weapon I have now called a Gunblade,". "It's like a sword that can shoot bullets," Morgan said to the Outlanders.
"Plus I can do all sorts of things while in this state, and do all sorts of moves,". "But well we can save that for later," Morgan said.
"Oh me next, me next, let me show you how my stone thing works," Catie said before anyone could talk. Catie brought out her Beast Stone and showed it to everyone there. "With this I can turn into a silver wolf," Catie said taking a hold of her necklace and praying to it.
"Huh what did she say?" Starlow asked.
"I guess Mrs. Catie wants to show off how her Beast stone works," Lana replied.
Catie then was engulfed in a similar light like Morgan but it was a bit darker then the shining white light Morgan was engulfed in. When the light receded a giant Silver Wolf was in the place Catie was standing and she sat down and looked at everyone.
"That's neat its almost like what I seen in Fire Symbol, but to see it up close and to be this close," Morgan said in wonderment.
Charlie perked up a bit at seeing the giant Silver Wolf sitting there.
"Easy boy remembered she's already married," Lana told Charlie.
"Kill joy," Charlie replied to Lana.
"Hmm unfortunately Mario doesn't have any fancy transformations like that," Starlow said to everyone.
"That's fine I am sure you will have plenty of time to show off your skills," Lana said to Starlow.
"Okay I am going to change back now," Catie said as she began to revert to her human form. Catie was done transforming into a her human form but the cloths she was wearing were torn.
Morgan turned around and saw and quickly closed her eyes. "Umm Catie your cloths are," Morgan said embarrassed.
"Oh right that always tend to happen sorry about that," Catie replied sheepishly.
Lana too looked in Caties direction before quickly turning away real quickly. "Umm here but this on you need it more then me," Lana said to Catie handing her the robe she was wearing.
"Thank you Princess your really kind and sweet," Catie said to Lana awkwardly placing on the robe.
"So do you have any other questions?" Lana asked.
"Umm so are we okay to come with you?" Starlow asked Lana.
"Well you seem friendly enough,". "Plus it seems like you do have special abilities that we need,". "Also it will be nice to have someone my own age to hang out with,". "Okay you can follow me to the Safe House," Lana told them.
"Safe house, but I thought you were the Princess,". "Can't we just go to the palace?" Catie asked.
"Sorry but truth be told I was sent to the safe house due to an attack on the palace,". "I am pretty sure you noticed the flying monkeys and abominations about,". "Well they were summoned by the Witch because of the summoning ritual happening in the palace,". "Also umm mom and nobody else know that I am here right now they think I am kinda inside the safe house fast asleep," Lana said to the Outlanders.
"Wait so we may not even be allowed inside the palace after all,". "Say it ain't so Senpai,". "Say it ain't so," Morgan pleaded with Lana.
"Don't worry about it, your my guests after all,". "No one would think about turning away the special guests of the princess,". "I will talk with mom about it tomorrow after this whole mess is settled,". Lana said to them.
"Phew okay safe house is better then the streets I am in," Morgan said.
"Same here I am all about the safe house," Catie replied.

"Eh I am not to sure about this,". "How do we know that this isn't some trap,". "Or that you are who you say you are?" Sam asked Lana.
"He does bring up a good point,". "It is due to the summoning ritual that your kingdom preform,". "Why we ended up here?" Starlow added.
Morgan stared at Lana with a look of hurt and betrayal. "Why Lana chan?". "Why did you have to do such a thing to us?". "I was about to go on a date with the girl of my dreams," Morgan asked Lana (chan).
"You should be lucky she's even offering to take you suspicious lot in,". "For all me know you can be some type of demons looking to take over Oz for yourself,". "Truth be told she has no reason to trust any of you guys," Charlie told them.
"Easy guys easy," Lana told everyone present.
"First off Outlanders your right I have no proof of being a princess,". "As far as you know I could just be some random mage who was irresponsible and screwed up really badly,". "I have no assurance that there is any way to return either of you to your worlds,". "In fact I don't even know the exact details of the rituals myself," Lana said to them.
"What do you mean exactly by that?" Sam asked.
"Truth be told I was sent away to the safe house, before the ritual started,". "My mom and a sorceress that's always been like a second mom to me were the ones there during the ritual,". "I was just looking for some help when I heard what was happening in the palace,". "That's when I saw what happened in the Town square and ran into you guys," Lana said to the Outlanders.
"So looks like we wouldn't be able to get any clear answers unless we meet your mom right," Sam said to Lana.
"More or less, I am sorry I can't really provide you with any clear answers," Lana said to Sam.
"Hmm it seems like your our best bet to seeing the queen is what your trying to say," Starlow said to Lana.
"Yes I give you my word that you will be safely escorted to the palace and granted an audience with the queen,". "(Gulp) Even if I have to bring her to you myself," Lana said visibly nervous about that part.
"Let's a go," Mario said in approval.
"Well it's better then wandering the streets in a strang place," Starlow said in agreement.
Sam began to chuckle to himself.
"What's so funny?" Charlie asked.
"Oh you just remind me of a certain someone back home,". "A certain reckless Vampire who acts on a whim and is willing to put himself at risk,". "To help complete strangers in need," Sam said to Charlie.
"Anyways looks like your the best option so far," Sam said hoping onto Catie's shoulder.
"Well then looks like we are all in agreement," Lana told the Outlanders.
"Hmm not so fast, how do we know you Outlanders are trustworthy?" Charlie asked.
"Yeah what did he mean by demons?" Catie asked.
"Charlie now is not the time for that, yes it's a legit concern," Lana told Charlie.
"As far as what Charlie is referring to long story,". "I promised to tell you more about it tomorrow, as its been a really long day for everyone," Lana said to Charlie.
"Yay I love hearing stories, you better keep your word to missie,". "Otherwise the tickle monster will come and get you," Catie told Lana.
Morgan seemed to visibly shutter at the mention of the word tickle monster.
"Oh umm yeah your majesty is it okay if I bring my pets with me," Morgan asked Lana.
"You don't need to be formal with me Morgan chan,". "Of course you can bring your umm what are those strange creatures called?" Lana asked Morgan.
"Oh thank you so much Lana senpai,". Oh abd these guys are my pet ferrets,". "They are kinda of like a cross between a Cat and a snake,". "They don't require much to eat or to be taken care of," Morgan said to Lana.
"Oh right let me just undo this and go back to normal," Morgan said turning back into her self.
"Grr fine I guess we are not going to get anywhere sooner," Charlie lamented.
"Okay then that settles everything," Lana said.
"So we are ready when you are," the Outlanders responded.
"Oh one second I just need to check to make sure everything is okay back at the safe house," Lana said to the Outlanders before disappearing into a Ruby Portal.
"Yeah just like Baron makes a plan before thinking things through," Sam replied.
"You can say that again," Charlie said.
Just then the portal opened and Lana came through. "Okay coast is clear you guys can come in," Lana told the Outlanders.
The Outlanders followed Lana into the portal and arrived inside her bedroom which was located in the safe house.

Location: Safe House Lana's Room
"Okay guys we are now inside the safe house,". "The guards shouldn't be coming inside because they think I am asleep,". "So as long as you guys don't make too much noise, they shouldn't be inside any of the rooms," Lana said to her guest.
"Morgan your more then welcome to sleep in my room tonight,". "I also have plenty of cloths for you to wear so your then welcome to pick out something to sleep in and change into,". "Also my room I have my own personal rest room so your more then welcome to freshen up inside of there," Lana told Morgan.
"Really Lana senpai I mean are you sure about all of this?" Morgan asked Senpai.
"Why yes you guys are my guest of honor,". "Don't worry about the cloths or bath or anything,". "I have more then enough cloths and you'll find plenty of towels inside of the rest room,". Lana told Morgan chan.
Morgan was so overcome with joy and she gave Lana a big hug.
"Thank you so much senpai," Morgan told Lana.
"Oh just one thing before you do anything let me show you guys something,". Lana told the Outlanders.
Lana went to her book shelf and pulled a random book. A secret passage opened up and it lead to a series of tunnels. Lana lead the Outlanders into the tunnel system. "Okay guys just for tonight I would prefer for you guys to use these so that way you guys can go to the kitchen area and to each individual rooms," Lana told the Outlanders.
"The kitchen area is well stocked so feel free to grab whatever you want to eat,". "Just be mindful of leaving a mess and putting everything away, when your done,". "Let's see there's multiple rest areas for the rest of you guys to freshen up,". "Oh and Catie it seemed like your dress got torn up please feel free to help yourself to any of my cloths," Lana said to Catie.
"This seems awfully generous for a group of strangers," Sam said to Lana.
"Well if you guys were from the summoning ritual chances are you were pulled from your home world,". "Into a completely different land, and into a conflict you never asked to be part of,". "I can't apologize for what happened to you,". "The best I can do is show you guys some hospitality, and try to make your stay comfortable," Lana said to Sam.
"Fair enough, it is fairly late and a lot has happened so far,". "Also we might be able to learn more about your land and your current situation,". "Who knows maybe we can help out in some way," Sam told Lana.
"You mean your willing to help?" Lana said to Sam.
"Well yeah me and Catie were summoned here for a reason,". "So of course its only natural that we would help while we are here,". "Isn't that right Catie?" Sam asked Catie.
"Of course what ever you need your majesty," Catie said giving Lana a thumbs up.
"I wasn't go to ask you because I thought it would be wrong,". "But thank you very much Catie and Sam,". "Your help is greatly appreciated," Lana said to Catie and Sam.
"Ahem, don't forget about me senpai," Morgan said to Lana.
"Wait your willing to help also," Lana said to Morgan.
"Of course even though you pulled me away from my date,". "Where I come from there's a whole other world where me and my friends travel to and help people there in need,". "Besides your awfully nice and well I don't mind fighting to help make it up," Morgan said to Lana.
"Besides you are extremely gorgeous and that's certainly a plus," Morgan thought.
Morgan's face began to turn a bright Red as she was lost in thought.
"Umm Morgan are you okay, your face is really Red?" a concerned Lana asked.
Morgan snapped out of her day dreaming and was overcome with embarrassment. "Oh umm yes Ms. Lana I am very okay," Morgan said to Lana.
"That's good, I am very appreciative of your help," Lana said hugging Morgan.
"Umm umm umm anytime," Morgan stammered up.
"Ahem I hope you didn't forget about me and Mario over here," Starlow said to Lana.
"Of course I didn't forget about you guys," Lana said to Starlow.
"Well just to make it unanimous me and Mario are here to help,". "He may not look it but he is a pretty famous hero back in the Mushroom Kingdom,". "So of course we are here to offer as much aide as possible," Starlow said to Mario.
Mario gave a thumbs up and gave her an, "Oh Yeah,".
"You guys the kingdom of Yuliea and the land of Oz is very appreciative of your aide," Lana said bowing to them.
"Oh yean I completely forgot that they are multiple rooms for you guys to stay in,". "Well except the one bedroom and that's where the queen sleeps,". "That area is off limits for obvious reasons," Lana told her guests.
"Anyways if there is nothing else Princess, me and Mario are going to head off to bed," Starlow said to Lana.
"Oh and me and Catie are going to look for a change of cloths and some sleep ware," Morgan said to Lana.
"Of course take whatever you guys need," Lana told Morgan.
"Okay thank you very much senpai," Morgan said to Lana bowing to her.
"Yes Senpai Lana thank you so much," Catie said to Lana also.
"Welp looks like I am going to look for a room for me and Catie to sleep in for the evening," Sam said taking off.
Lana left the passage open to her room and saw that Catie and Morgan were going through varouis cloths. It was like they were having a mini fashion show trying on different cloths and sleep ware. Morgan and Catie wished Lana a good night as she left the room with Charlie.
Lana made sure the door was shut to her room and that the other rooms were closed. She then went to the front door and checked in with the guard out front. The guard was a little surprised to see Lana. "Your majesty I thought you were sound asleep," the Guard said to Lana.
"I was, but I was having a hard time because I was worried about mom and Cia," Lana told the guard.
"We haven't heard anything about what's going on,". "So we think everything is okay if the queen shows up, we will let you know," the guard told Lana.
"Okay I will be in the living room area who knows maybe some reading will help ease my mind," Lana replied.
"Okay then if you need anything let me know your grace," the guard told Lana.
"Will do," Lana said before closing the door.
Lana went straight for the sofa and pulled out the mini bed that it could turn into. Lana went to her room to grab some sleep ware. The door to her restroom was closed and water could be heard running.
"Hmm looks like Morgan's in there taking a bath," Lana said to herself.
Lana changed into her sleep ware while there was no one in the room. Lana then grabbed a couple of blankets and pillows she had stored away and a couple of books to read. Afterwards she headed down stairs and noticed Charlie already made him self comfortable in the sofa bed. Lana climbed onto the other side of the bed and then spread out enough of the blanket and placed the pillows against her back.
Lana was getting nice and comfortable and she could feel herself getting really tired.

Lana was starting to feel comfortable until Charlie began to talk to her.
"So how are you going to explain this to your mom?" Charlie asked Lana.
"I will think of something," Lana said to Charlie.
"Yeah I am sure she will be so understanding of you bringing in Outlanders into the safe house," Charlie told Lana.
"Well it's her fault that they are here to begin with," Lana reminded Charlie.
"Oh nice come back, well at least they seem friendly enough," Charlie said to Lana.
"Yeah even though I am still not looking forward to telling mom about everything that happened," Lana told Charlie.
"Well it's like you said she did summon a group of strangers directly into the palace,". "So you do have that going for you," Charlie assured Lana.
"Your right about that," Lana told Charlie.
"Anyways I am beat, talk to you in the morning," Charlie said going to sleep.
"Night Charlie," Lana said to Charlie. Lana opened a book and began to read. She read for about an hour before her eyes started to feel really heavy. "Mom, Cia, and everyone in the palace and here please be safe," Lana said before she fell asleep.
Morgan was taking a nice long and relaxing bubble bath. "Meg and Bret this is the best bath ever, and the shampoo and bubbles she uses,". "Oh I could fall asleep in here," Morgan told her pet ferrets.
Meg and Bret were chittering towards one another and then looked at her.
"Your right even wouldn't want to look like a giant prune and all wrinkly for tomorrow," Morgan told the pair.
Morgan would soak in the tub for about another half an hour before getting out and drying her self off. Morgan then placed on the loose fitting shirt she found and nice loose fitting pair of pants she found to. Morgan then went and emptied her purse and made sure everything was still there. Morgan placed the purse by the night stand.
She then took out her phone and began to look through some photos of her and her friends.
"Julia I am sorry about what happened today,". "I will make it up to you somehow," Morgan said. Before long Morgan was starting to feel really sleepy. Meg and Bret curled themselves next to Morgan before the three of them feel asleep.
While Morgan was sleeping a strange glow was coming from her purse. When the glow faded a couple of cards were then inside of her purse.
Mario and Starlow found a nice and comfortable room right next to where Sam and Catie were sleeping.
"Well Mario looks like we have a long day tomorrow," Starlow said to Mario.
"Oh yeah," Mario said in response.
"I wonder how everybody else is doing back at home,". "There probably worried sick about what just happened,". "Oh well at least it wasn't Bowser's fault for once," Starlow said to Mario.
"(Your right about that)," Mario told Starlow.
"Anyways night Mario we got a big day ahead of us," Starlow said falling asleep at the foot of the bed.
Mario fell emptied his pocket of his hammer and anything else in his pocket. Mario then took off his cap and placed it on the night stand by the bed. Mario was then fast asleep before he knew it.
Mario was so exhausted he didn't notice the card of Rosalina or Princess Peach he had in his pocket.
While Mario was asleep a certain ghost like creature showed up. "Hmm where did that portal take me to?" the creature wondered. He then noticed Mario and wanted to say hello but noticed Mario was fast asleep.
"Oh well we can talk and hang out when he wakes up tomorrow," Cappy said.
Cappy then noticed Mario's hat and he decided to hide inside the hat while Mario slept.

Yuleian PlainsJohn Doe traveled down the path, his eyes constantly darting from side to side. In his world, it would have been to watch for any signs of an ambush. In better times, it was to watch the signs of wild Pokemon about to pounce. In this unfamiliar world, it could've been anything. No matter where he was, he's not used to casual strolls. John Doe paused. Manaphy almost bumped into him from flying close behind. Did you guys hear something?
"Like what?", asked Rotom. Like... some kind of whooshing sounds?
"The wind, perhaps?" suggested Ditto. No... It kind of sounded like Grinn when she was a Gast...ly...John Doe grabbed his gun and spun around, pointing where he heard the noise. There was nothing to be seen across the bumpy plains. Watch my back, I've definitely heard it that time! From within Doe's shadow, Grinn looked around. "I didn't see a thing. Maybe they-- behind you!"Doe turned around to see Grinn shooting a Shadow Ball at some spectral gas that lunged out from the ground. The... thing flew up to avoid the attack. Doe saw an arm materialize from the gas, managing to duck out of reach as it swiped down at him. Doe turned to catch it turning for a second attack and fired two shots from his gun, with Manaphy supporting him with an Ice Beam. As the ghost-like being charged, the two bullets passed harmlessly right through it, while it barrel rolled to dodge the Ice Beam. John Doe jumped backward as it swiped at him again. Zoroark saw his chance and took it, swiping right through the middle of the cluster of gas with a well-timed Night Slash. A high-pitched shriek of pain shot out from the mass. Doe regained his footing and was ready to continue fighting, but the dark cloud had already dashed away into the distance. None of them could even consider giving chase. "Damn, that thing is quick!" "You okay, papa?!" Rotom asked. "It looked like it got you!"John Doe looked down and inspected himself. "I... feel fine," he said. His clothes weren't even dirty, save for some dirt from walking and dodging. "Are you sure they got me?" "What about your stuff?" Grinn asked. "They steal anything?"Doe made a quick scan to make sure all his weapons and equipment were in the right place. Then, remembering that he carried additional baggage than he's used to, he pulled out his deck of cards and shuffled through them. "Everything seems in order. Everything's still where I put them, and nobody seems to be missing." "You sure you're not missing any blanks?" said Zoroark, referring to the blank cards that didn't come with a name and portrait like the rest. "I could've sworn you had more of 'em.""Did I?" John Doe racked his brain as he looked at the blank cards he had. He had neglected to take count of them, having been distracted by the other cards. "...Not much use pondering it, at any rate," Doe said. "It's gone now, and I want to try to get to the city by nightfall." Putting his gun away, Doe continued on the path. I miss home alredy. Unknown LocationDeep inside a decrepit cavern, a middle-aged man in heavy robes gazed over the crystal ball in front of him. It displayed images of a cloud-like entity darting through a mountain range. "Yes..." he muttered. "This is going well! Not as well as I had hoped, but it shall do! I shall do indeed!" The man cackled to himself. Yuleian Medical WardGlinda entered the room alone, her guards waiting outside, and fewer in number as to not disturb the workers moving in a hurry. She closed the door behind her, leaving her in the room, alone with Alvis and the sleeping Cia. "How is she?" Glinda asked, putting on the straightest expression she could muster. "As far as her vitals and physical state goes, she is completely healthy," Alvis said. "If we didn't know any better, we would've concluded that she was merely sleeping." "I-I see," Glinda said. "...Did you bring the stone?" Alvis nodded and held up a small brown sack. "Best we do this quickly; the deeper the sleep, the lower the chance of success." Glinda walked to the opposite side of Cia's bed as Alvis. She left her staff leaning against the wall and held out her hand. Alvis undid the string holding the bag closed and turned it over, letting the white stone within fall into her grasp. A Morpheo Stone. It looked like a glass ball with a misty, white energy swirling within. Crafted by sages that have spent most of their lifetimes perfecting the art of dreams, for the purpose of allowing communications between one who is awake, and one who was asleep, for a short period of time. "Do you recall how to use it?" Inquired Alvis. Glinda nodded, as she sat down on a chair. "Very well. I shall stand and remain watch." "Thank you." Glinda grasped Cia's wrist so that it lied face up. She then took the hand holding the stone, closed her own eyes, and pressed her palm against her's. The stone shone as it was absorbed between them. The queen's head slouched down as she fell into a magic-induced slumber. ----- Glinda opened her eyes to find herself standing above a white vortex. The air felt light. Her vision was blurry. Her movements as she curiously turned her head and raised her arms felt heavy and sluggish. Her mind was alert, and yet her body felt almost fatigued. "Cia...?" Glinda said, finding her voice. "Cia, are you here? If you can hear me, answer me!" A few seconds passed until Glinda was able to hear footsteps splashing, as if they stood in shallow water. A silhouette came known to Glinda shortly afterward. "I am here, Glinda." "Cia..." Glinda muttered. "You..." "Is this the work of a Morpheo Stone?" Cia inquired. Glinda could start to make out her form a bit more clearly. She still appeared to wear her ritualistic garb. "I was not sure what to expect, but this wasn't the experience I was expecting. How does it feel from your point of view?" "Sluggish," Glinda replied. "If I were to describe it, it would be like... waking from a mere hour of sleep for a meeting concerning the silk trades." Cia sighed. "Ah. The dullest of meetings." The two women gave a small half smiled, before standing silently, not particularly willing to discuss harder subject matters. Cia was the first to begin. "The battle... The Sacred Serpent... Was it successful?" Glinda gulped. "Y-Yes. The abominations were all repelled, thanks to you. You... saved us." Cia smiled. "That's good... What of the Outlanders that were summoned?" "Eight," Glinda replied. "They are understandably disorientated somewhat, but save for some injuries, they are all well." "I see..." Cia thought for a minute before speaking next. "Glinda, the ritual was interrupted by the abomination attack. Something did not occur exactly as intended." "W-What?" Glinda muttered. "The eight that I summoned... may find that their powers are not quite the same as they are accustomed to. Perhaps they became weaker. Perhaps, if they are fortunate, stronger. However, I saw... others. Other Outlanders that were being summoned, but... they seemed to have reverted into a cardlike form, and if what I'm pondering is correct, they were then scattered across Oz." "You are saying there are other Outlanders lost somewhere within this world?" Glinda said. "If I'm correct, then yes," Cia answered. "You must search for them. Find them, before they perish, or are exploited by our enemies." "I... I understand," Glinda said. "But Cia... Your... condition... It..." Cia nodded sadly. "Do not worry. I knew the risks, especially while I was already drained by the ritual. I do not carry any regrets over--" "This is all my fault!" exclaimed Glinda, causing Cia to jump. "You are comatose... The doctors believe that in the best-case scenario, you will wake up in a few years. The more likely possibility is that you will never wake." Glinda turned her gaze downward. "If only I had prepared for the possibility of an abomination attack! If only I had not burdened you with such a draining ritual! If I had done the necessary measures to... then... then you would still be..." Glinda held her hands up to her mouth in an attempt to hold back a sob as tears welled in her eyes. "I'm sorry... I am truly sorry. I failed you as a queen. I failed you as a friend! I can't... I don't know what to..." Glinda felt a hand place itself on her shoulder. "Glinda... Please don't blame yourself. You need to be strong. For all of us; Lana, me, all of Yuleia. Now more than ever, and I know you can do it because I know you are stronger than you believe yourself to be. So please, dry your tears. I feel awful seeing you like this." Glinda choked back another sob. "But..." Cia leaned forward slightly to catch Glinda's gaze. "I would gladly do whatever you ask of me... And fortunately for the two of us, there is a way I may continue to do that! Er, by waking up, I mean!" Glinda gasped. "What... What do you mean? Quickly!" "My condition is caused by a severe ether efficiency in my body. Beneath the World Tree, Yggdrasil, there exists a spring. A source of the purest form of water Roshi may bless us with. Dalish records speak of its capability to restore all manner of ills, including my own condition. I have no doubt in my mind that if I were brought there... I will recover." Glinda gulped. "The abominations in that area are especially violent. However..." Glinda took a deep breath, wiped her eyes, and gave Cia a determined glance. "We shall save you. I promise this. You will come back to us." Cia smiled. "I know you will. Thank you." Cia squeezed her best friend's shoulder reassuringly before stepping back. "I'm afraid our time here is up." She smiled softly. "Perhaps I shall finally receive a restful sleep for once.
And... give Lana my apologies." Glinda nodded. "Sweet dreams..." ------- Glinda jolted away, sitting in a chair back at the medical wing. "Are you well, Glinda?" Glinda blinked as a teardrop fell from her eyes. Realizing that she was crying, she quickly wiped her eyes before standing back up. "Yes... Cia has informed me of matters of great import... including a method of curing her." "Curing her?!" Alvis echoed. "How?" Glinda picked up her staff and returned the chair back to where it was. "Let us discuss this as we walk. Right now, I am concerned for my daughter." "Understood." Alvis followed the queen as she opened the door. She paused when she saw a woman in a white, off-the-shoulder dress waiting just outside the door, arms crossed. "Are you finished with your audience?" said the woman. "Or must I continue to be barred from visiting my own sister?" Save for an unfriendly scowl, Glinda ignored her as she continued on her way.
