Aryana, Calaveraera
"Ganon. Same, more or less," Ganon says.
Some of the other traders poke out of the wagon. "I'm Sella, our logistics specialist," a blue-haired woman says.
"Jel," a red-haired man introduces himself.
Mezzan nods. "That's the three of us. We're ready to set out. Remember, the idea is to get ambushed by some bandits, then let you rough them up and figure out where their base is. As soon as things get dicey, we're out of there. Are you ready?"
"Yeah," Ganon says.
"Good. Remember, try not to look suspicious or they won't come out."
"Got it." Ganon swings himself up onto the wagon next to Sella. "Hey there. Y'know, you're pretty cute."
Mik, Raquel
"What? No. If we want to kill each other, it would be much more efficient to do so here," Raquel says. "Less risk of collateral damage."
"Hmph. I don't want to kill you," Blondie sneers. "Too merciful. I'd rather just leave you half-buried in that mud with those nasty bugs. See how you like it."
"Probably better than listening to you keep prattling on," Raquel answers blankly.
"Tch. Whatever. Let's just get on with it."
The two start going ahead without you again. You find them just ahead, waiting at a three-way split in the path. To the left, you see a narrow bridge over a dark pit. The right has a large blade swinging slowly back and forth. The middle path looks empty, but slopes downward at a sharp angle.
Blondie looks between the three paths, then glares at Raquel. "Heh. Let's just split up. First to find and kill the target wins. And the loser-"
"I'm not here to play games," Raquel says.
"Coward."
"You aren't going to get a rise out of me, either."
While they're bickering you could get first pick. Or something else.

Aryana looks stoic as she boards and keeps her hand near her sword, ready to draw.

"How about you two take the left most snd right most sides and I will take middle. because I honestly think its better for you two to work as far away from eachother as possible. No Offense but your chemistry is awful"

Aryana, Calaveraera
Your caravan sets out down the road. As you roll along, you have to listen to Ganon's awkward attempts at flirting. He's terrible, and painfully obvious about it. Still, Sella seems OK with it, even returning a few lines of her own... or maybe she's just being polite. Jel sits in the back as Mezzan drives. They both have to stifle their laughter a few times.
It's not long, maybe five miles down the road, when you come across three men who step out in front of you. They're visibly armed with short swords. "Hello, there!" one calls up in a cheerful tone. "I don't suppose you could spare a few coins for some hungry travelers?"
"Afraid not," Mezzan answers.
"Looks like it's showtime..." Ganon mutters. "Remember, we need to take at least one alive and stop the others from escaping. Or follow them when they flee."
Mik, Raquel
"Fine," they both say at once.
Raquel starts heading to the left, when Blondie walks forward and bumps her with her hips. "Hmph."
Raquel shrugs and heads for the right path instead. She starts down, pausing and leaping, dodging the blade. Another blade swings out of a hidden track, but Raquel is ready for it and takes another quick step. And then spears shooting from the floor and wall force her to take another. In the end, she's practically sprinting down the corridor. Which seems to be what whoever designed the trap expected. The floor gives way beneath her, over some kind of pit. She manages to stretch out and grab the far side of the trapdoor, clinging onto the ledge.
The blonde one starts to casually stroll down along the narrow bridge. As she takes a step, one of the beams gives way and swings down. She manages to easily shift her weight and hop across the gap without breaking pace. She prances as she hops from support to support, until one clicks as she lands. A large section of the bridge collapses in either direction, leaving her balancing on one foot. Then comes a click from the wall - she spins, raising her shield to deflect a dart. Another click from the other wall, and Blondie gracefully drops from her perch. She wraps her legs around the support as she falls, holding herself upside-down. With her hair dangling, she sighs with a look of annoyance.
You try to guess what sort of trap the slope might be hiding, but you can't spot anything obvious.

Aryana disembarks and stands at her full height. Her hands stays close to her blade at her side as she glares at the beggars. "And where are you travelling to." Her voice makes the question into more of a demand than an actual inquisition.

Aryana, Calaveraera
"Aw, that's not important," the one who seems to be in charge says. He walks forward a few steps, rubbing his sword's hilt suggestively. "If you don't have any cash, mayhap you could spare something else?"
"Some food, gold, anything valuable. I suggest you hand 'em over, good-Samaritan-like," the second says with a chuckle.
The third looks at you a bit more thoughtfully. "Uh... Hey, Chief..."
Mik, Raquel
You start poking around for a pressure plate... and soon find it.
Even the light pressure of probing for it is enough to set it off. You quickly hop back to safety as some kind of liquid starts spilling out from the top of the slope. It's really slick... It was probably supposed to trip you so you'd fall down. If the smell doesn't give it away, you're sure what it is when it reaches the bottom of the slope and bursts into flame. Oil.
It collects in a pool - you can't tell how deep - at the bottom of the slope. On the other side of the now-flaming pool, you can see the passage continue.
Well, a little fire like that's not really a threat. Drowning, on the other hand, is a concern.

Can I use my weight and the slickness of the oil to build speed to make the jump?

Aryana gives the "chief" a thousand-yard-stare as she keeps her hand on her sword.
"I will suggest once more that you allow us to go on our way. If you continue to harass us then there will be consequences."

Aryana
The chief snorts at the both of you and draws his sword. A jagged, chipped, and rusted blade. The other two follow his lead, pulling out similar swords. They start advancing on you. Two have a nasty sneer on their face, while the third looks more hesitant.
"Ah, time to earn my keep," Ganon says. He hops down, drawing his greatsword. "Will you wait for me, Darling Sella?"
"Nope, that's not the plan," Mezzan answers for her.
Sella gives him a flirty wave as their carriage begins moving away.
Mik
You decide to ignore the other two. Idiots got themselves into those messes, they can get themselves out.
You go running forward, letting yourself slide down the oily slope. You wait until the last minute and hop over the flaming lake of fire. You grab the far ledge, struggling to pull yourself up in the heavy armor. You start to heat up a bit, but it's not even uncomfortable.
When you hoist yourself up, you find a hallway with a few more minor traps that you don't have much trouble with. The pathway opens up to a large, square room filled with three green-colored slimes hopping around.
