Shulk attempts to Activate the Monado for a Monado art(Monado Purge) when he realizes, The Monado arts have changed, he no longer has most of the Monado arts he had Now having 5 instead of the usual 8. Noting that Cyclone, Eater, Armour, Purge, and Enchant are Missing but has 2 new ones, Jump and Smash, Having no Time he Activates Monado Shield to Block the incoming attack...when he Notices the Effect Shield is having on him is Different and Feels like Monado Armour's Defense Boosts, and not the "Block any Attack" thing that Shield does.
(Need me to Explain the Monado arts in Detail?)

(here is how each of the base monado arts work.
Enchant boosts the attack power of every party member
Buster is a powerful AOE attack
Shield blocks an opponent's "Talent art" of enemies that are equal level or lower.
Speed boosts allies evasion
Purge removes aura effects like damage auras or status ailment auras
Armour/armor is a straight defense boost
Cyclone damages all nearby enemies and inflict topple on enemies inflicted with break.
Finally. Eater removes stat buffs and inflicts bleed.)

Agent 3
DJ Octavio begins to fill the area with water. The water is quickly filling the arena and its already up to you and Cpt. Cuddlefish feet before long.
"Oh no oh no, anything but Water,". "Agent 3 what are we going to do?". "What are we going to do Agent 3?" Cpt. Cuddle Fish asks while panicking.
Before the water gets to much higher a tear in the air opens up. Out steps a young looking lady with Pink pigtails and little Mushrooms in the end. She appears to have a Pink Mushroom like hat or is that part of her head. She also appears to be wearing a Pink shirt with a brown vest a pair of white pants.
"Oh looks like I made it just in time,". "Any longer and the two of you would of been in deep trouble,". "Here take my hand," the young lady tells you and Cpt. Cuddlefish.
"Who who are you?" Cpt. Cuddle fish asks the young lady.
"My name is Toadetta and I don't have much time to explain who I am,". "This portal will close soon and when it does then I will not be able to help you any more,". "I am asking you to trust me," Toadetta tells Cpt. Cuddle fish.
"Do we really have a choice?" the Cpt. asks.
"Of course you have a choice silly,". "Take my hand and escape this situation, possibly learn about what's going on, and learn how to fight against DJ Octopus,". "Or you can chose to stay here and fight a battle that's stacked against you,". "Oh better think quickly the water is getting pretty close to waist level,". "Water is dangerous to you guys isn't it?" Toadetta asked Cpt. Cuddlefish.
"Eh I don't like either choice really but it's true it seems like the DJ has gotten a few tricks up his sleeves still,". "Sigh I am going to regret this," Cpt. Cuddle fish says grabbing your hands. He then closes his eyes and grabs Toadetta's hand.
"Wise decision," Toadetta says pulling you and Cpt. Cuddle fish through the portal.

Shulk
Metal Face is about to swoop in and attack but all of a sudden a bright light blinds him. The light catches Metal Face off guard enough and it causes him to veer off into a nearby tree. A young Red head steps out of the protal and looks towards Shulk. She seems to be counting to herself silently.
“Good I got here just in time, so I need to find someone by the name of Shulk,”. “Great the boss only gave me 10 seconds to find him,”. “Great if there is one thng Anna’s like it’s a time limit,”. “Bah is this punishment for sleeping during the meeting,” Ann sighs as she looks for Shulk.
Ann takes a couple of seconds to look until she is looking right at you and Fiora. Ann then without hesitation grabs both you and Fiora by the arm and leads you two into the portal.
Move to Subspace Emissary
As Shulk and Fiora disappear into the portal Metal Face recovers. Metal Face is just able to see the portal close behind Shulk before he can move.
“Dammit so the rats scurry to safety,”. “Oh well I have a feeling they will return someday,”. “Heh so it looks like the Monado brat improved since we last saw him,”. “Heh this is going to be fun,”. “Jin and Malos should have finshed with Rex and Pyra,”. “Might as well go check on them,” Mumkhar then opens up a tear in space and disappears into it.
Agent 3
As Agent 3 disappears into the portal she leaves behind a bomb for DJ Octavio. DJ Octavio is now covered in a Yellow Paint like substance. DJ Octavio is unable to retliate because Agent 3 and Captain Cuddlefish are already on the other side of the Portal.
