Prologue: The Unknown Realm

Jasper

(BGM: The World Revolving)

One moment your bleeding heavily and your about to be taken down by your wounds. One Orange flash later your shield is about half way cracked but intact and your wounds are not nearly as bad.

Jevil is still looking pretty sleepy and is going on about something. Jasper seems to recall this same situation from before. Jasper is not really focused on what Jevil is saying your focused on his next attack. What appeared to be about 100's of bombs was really just about twenty. Also the bombs appeared to be falling at a much slower speed.. When the Heart bomb explodes its the same as before the 4 little hearts start spinning. The clubs begin to spread out towards you when they explode. The spade bombs explode in a circle when they make contact. Finally, the Diamonds shoot off 3 straight bullets towards you when they explode.

The following sequence plays in out in front of you: Heart, Club, Spade, and Diamond seem to repeat itself. Around the 10th bomb and onwards it looks like two bombs will be making contact at once. The following pair seems to repeat itself heart and clubs followed shortly by diamonds and spades.

Blood

(BGM; San's fight)

Blood is really DETERMINED to see San's special attack and to survive this attack. Blood's determination allows him to swing upon the head of the giant dragon skull. Blood gets hit by a couple of the bones that were aiming towards him but he ignores the pain.  Blood makes it on top of the skull as the smaller skulls aim at where he was. The giant skull then unleashes a massive beam of energy that covers the entire room. If Blood was to get hit by that attack it would have surely been a bad time.

Thankfully, Blood was safely on top of the giant skull and he was completely unharmed. Blood gets off of the skull in time as the skulls on the roof begin to fire. Blood is able to outrun the beams that are launched towards him and dodge them easily. It seems like Blood's determination was enough to let him avoid all those attacks. 

Blood then rushes San's and goes to punch him the face. Sans easily dodges the attack and Blood trips and falls on the ground. Sans is breathing really heavy and sweat is boring down his forehead. Sans is also having a hard time keeping his eyes open.

"Well you seem quite determined to see this move,". "But first a little explanation,". "You see in this "game" of ours your only able to move because I moved and it "allowed" you to react,". "As you can tell I am getting exhausted and chances are one of your strikes will eventually land,". "Basically I know I can't beat you,". "So that's why I will show you my special move," Sans tells Blood.

Sans proceeds to stand perfectly still. Blood is preparing for the special move of Sans. Blood can almost anticipate this special move of Sans. Yet, Sans continues not to move. This happens for a few minuets where you are waiting for Sans to move but he doesn't move at all. 

"What this is my special move?". "You guessed it my special move is nothing,". "You see if I don't move, you can't either,". "Eventually, you'll get bored of doing nothing and well you'll quit,". "Don't believe just try to move your body," Sans tells Blood.

Blood feels like Sans is bluffing so Blood tries to move his body. Blood goes to move his arms and his legs but then he is shocked by what he see's. Blood can not move his arm or legs or really any part of his body. It's like there is a 1000 ton weight weighing down Blood and it's nearly impossible for him to move.

"See what I mean you can't move or do anything unless I move or do something,". "Hope you have fun hanging out here for all eternity," Sans taunts Blood.

You were so close to your goal of defeating Sans but with his last desperate act you are unable to move your body. Even just moving your body a smidge takes all of your strength. It seems like you are doomed to stay here forever in this turn that never ends.

Blood seems to be imagining that a Black fox like creature is approaching him. The Black Fox like creature has Yellow rings surrounding it's legs and ears. It's fur appears to be as Black as the midnight sky. It looks to you and says, "Umbreon Umbre Eon Umbr Umb Umbreon,". 

Suddenly, a voice rings in Blood's head, usually that doesn't happen until later. Mr. X begins to speak to Blood.

Well now it looks like we have quite the situation here. You were so close to victory and then your opponent had to go and pull off an unexpected move like that. Worry not because it looks like Umbreon is here to help even the odds. 

Umbreon will help serve as your guide throughout your journey. Since Umbreon is your guide you are responsible for it's actions, moves, gender, how it behaves, etc. I can't wait to see where your journey takes you.

One more thing I should add is that Sans isn't the enemy. He's only acting in self defense of what you become. Yet, maybe things will turn out differently, if you were able to overcome your urges and impulse. Then again you did sign your Vitcontracts with the condition that you were responsible for your actions. I can't control your actions and can't keep you from acting on your impulses. As long as your prepared to take responsbility for your actions then your free to do as you will. I look forward to see where your journey leads you.

Umbreon is looking at you and is softly nudging you. It seems like its not affected by Sans standing still. Blood on the other hand is still unable to move

(Psst Blood your free to have Umbreon help you out too or have it do something. Umbreon is unaffected by Sans not moving and standing still.)

(That's fine just remember she can learn any 4 moves she can learn through any means level up, TM, egg, move tutors. Also Stat wise while it does play a role it's not the end all be all. You shouldn't have to worry about rushing a moveset or anything because combat shouldn't be happening right away.)

Dandy seems ecstatic and claps his hands together excitedly "Good good OK wait..." he notices the Knuckle Joe "Seems like that fellow has some issues to work out... ahh I know" he snaps his finger and a very fat imp plops into existence in front of the punchy boi "OK now you my cyclopean freind we've got about another 20 seconds before your old boss breaks through that wall I'll dive in and clock him one he won't be expecting you to hit him with your laser and that'll help me punch him... more sounds good? OK 1....2.....3...." Dandy jumps through an explosion of imps fists a flying putting the plan into action

Blood is still waiting. He is standing a puddle of his own sweat now.

Blood

Blood is having a hard time moving his body. San's special attack may not seem like much but it's enough to have Blood literally drag himself across the floor and towards the magical attack button.

Umbreon is helping push you along the way until your able to touch the attack button. Blood and Umbreon both touch the button and Blood can feel the weight lift off his shoulders. (Not an actual move just an action for Umbreon) Umbreon goes and charged towards the sleeping Sans. Sans casually dodges the charge from Umbreon.

"What you thought I was actually....," Sans is cut off by a fist straight to his jaw by Blood.

Sans is sent flying into the nearest wall and he falls down with a thud. Sans just lies there and it seems like the battle is over. Before anyone can make a move Umbreon goes over and talks (well you assume talking because all you here is a bunch of Umbreons) to Sans.

"So where good now?". "He passed his test," Sans asks Umbreon.

Umbreon nods yes in response to Sans questions.



Sans proceeds to stand up and shake himself off he then looks towards Blood.

"Welp looks like the big boss Mr. X says that's enough,". "Looks like you passed your test,". "Heh you have a mean right hook you know that,". "Anyways looks like Umbreon needs to give you something,". "Afterwards I guess I need to give you a gift to," Sans says to Blood.

Umbreon lets loose a low key howl like noise towards the sky. The castle then begins to condense into a sphere like form. As the sphere becomes clearer you can see it appears to be a Red orb like object.

All of a sudden Mr. X's voice rings inside your head.

Well now looks like you obtained your Orb Blood. Now then this orb is the key to your very existence. The orb not only contains items that you will obtain from the vending machine. The orb will also hold any items you obtained throughout your quest. Any creatures (Pokemon, various minions, monsters, etc
) you get to join you will reside inside your orb. In fact it will also function as a communication device you can use to not only communicate with other orb welders but certain people you meet will be able to communicate with you along the way. One thing I should mention but while it is true you can only carry a certain number of Vending machines at once. The items you obtained during your Vitquest have an infinite number of spaces. Plus there is a special compartment shall we say that contains items of great importance during your journey.

I am expecting great things from you on your journey. I am also interested to see if you do learn to listen to your voice of reason. Well only time will tell, until we meet again Blood.

Mr. X's voice falls silent and then Sans begins to address you.

"Welp looks like I am to give this to you now," Sans says as he hands you what looks like a Red heart (not actual heart but one of those valentine shape hearts).

"This here is a human soul,". "It contains great power and when these are all gathered something amazing is suppose to happen,". "Or so I am told haven't seen someone gather all seven before," Sans tells you very casually.

You gained a Human Soul.
You can't believe a such a tiny heart contains such untold power.

Gain either a new ability or upgrade one of your known abilities


"Well my work here is done, see you around,". "Hopefully it's under better circumstances,". "Who knows maybe next time we meet, we can be friends,". "Or not anyways see you later," Sans says to you before he walks away.

Blood goes to chase after Sans but he feels extremely fatigued. Blood is having trouble keeping his eyes open. Blood begins to fall asleep as he watches Sans walk away. Umbreon curls up close to Blood and falls asleep right next to you.
