"OK, but why are we here?"
"Because you're going to cook some stuff for me and answer some questions."

"Because I asked really nicely and I'm so hungry."

"So, you go ahead and get started cooking - make whatever you like. This place is really well-stocked, don't worry about ingredients or anything."
1) Favorite food?
"Oh, my. That's such a vague question... My favorite main dish is pasta carbonara. My favorite appetizer is Italian-style wedding soup, and the best desert is clearly cake. Everyone has their own completely valid opinion about which one is best, but the correct answer is strawberry shortcake. And it may come as a surprise, but my favorite side is french fries."
2) Favorite drink?
"Fruit juice. There aren't any that are bad, but I think grape's the best."
3) Favorite food to MAKE?
"Lately I've been having fun experimenting with ice creams and fish dishes, but I think my all time favorite would have to be spaghetti."
4) What's your funniest cooking story?
"One time, I went to make carrot cake... but instead of grating the carrots, I just sliced them instead! And, uh... well, people were getting big chunks of carrots when they took a bite instead of the thing being carrot-flavored. Probably didn't help that the screw-up made the cake burn. It was... rough. I think maybe a third of that cake got eaten."
5) Do you like gals or guys?
"Huh? Well, yes? I like a few of both. And I dislike a few of both, I guess."
6) Who do you consider your best friend?
"Mattea. Easy."
7) What do you think of Mattea?
"She's really nice and everything, even if she can also be a bit scary. But she needs to be more honest with herself about stuff. Um... I dunno. We've been friends for a while and I'm pretty comfortable around her. But I still feel like she's hiding something from me sometimes. It's weird."
8) What do you think of Tai?
"Um, Tai? He's fine, I think? I don't really know him too well yet, but I like him well enough. Actually, he kinda... reminds me of Mattea in a way that's hard to explain."

"I usually like lying on my back."

"Huh? You mean Mattea's secret favorite restaurant? Or that place Dean sneaks off to sometimes? Or that hidden spot in the woods were Natsumi hangs out? Or, uh... OK, I don't know where Avel's is."

"Um... I don't wanna talk about that. It's really... hard. I got someone hurt and that's all I have to say about that."

"Hmmmm, this is really hard... I definitely couldn't kill Mattea, but I can't imagine she'd want to marry me, either. And I'd feel really bad getting her stuck with me. I guess things could get kind of awkward afterward, but I'd have to, um, have sex with her. And between Tom and Alice... I guess if I married Alice I'd be... Well, she'd probably just want me to do stuff like cook for her and stuff, so that would be fine. Sorry, Tom."

"More salt."

15) Do you plan to inherit the cafe or start your own business?
"Well... I guess it depends. If I can find financing and stuff, I'd love to start my own place. I don't really get that sort of thing, but at least I'm smart enough to know it's a problem. Anyway, if I can't, I'm fine with inheriting the family stuff."

"Huh? Not right now, no. I don't normally have to crawl around and stuff when cooking unless I drop something and then it's usually pretty fast. Oh, they were a bit red after that game the other day. That was fun."

"Well... I'm not a huge fan of either - their hair gets all over the kitchen. I like them both well enough, I guess, I just don't want one. If I had to, though... A cat. They're cleaner, I hear."
