“Hmm...” Gaia looks over the list available to them, then offers her two cents.. “Maybe we should start with something simple? Nature Documentaries shouldn’t be anything too tough, especially if we pick easy or normal difficulty. What do you guys think?”

"Sounds kind of boring... But I guess getting the boring stuff out of the way first would leave the rad challenges for later! Alright! Count me in! I did beat that on hunting game I got for Christmas once." Blythe looks smug when they say it, but mostly they seem excited about finally getting started.

Jedd withdraws his hand seeing as no one else wants to shake it, he seems satisfied either way.
"I ain't no lady, farthest thing from it in these here parts..."
Jedd takes a minute to look over the menu, scratching at his beard. "Nature documentaries sounds good, maybe we'll find the sheriff of these here parts..." Jedd says with a thick accent, tipping his hat.

"Good thinking, Ranger!" Justicia☆Nova pumps her fist. "The first priority for any S.T.A.R. stranded in unknown territory should be gathering information about the local environment and the most efficient ways to exterminate it!"

Oh and look it's one of those Rangers from the TV.

"I say hard! A S.T.A.R. does not run from danger, a S.T.A.R. is the danger!"

"Don't get me wrong, I like challenge as much as anyone, but we only got 7 turns to beat the boss and get out of there! We should at least stay on normal till we know what we are up against..."

I don't know Hard sounds awfully enticing. I don't think their is anything we have to be afraid of between us.

Blythe slams their fist into their palm. "Hard mode sounds fun as heck! Buuuuut, you never start on the hardest difficulty! You always gotta see how hard the game in general is first! Unless you want your ass kicked, haha!"

"That's what I'm sayin, if you go after the biggest guy first without takin out his lackies, you'll get overwhelmed..."

Will we get out faster if we choose hard Why would we sabotage our chance to get out of here?

To answer your question, completing an activity will always net you a chance to use my permission to unlock one of the 7 Chaos Dungeons. The difficulty doesn't matter in that regards.
It seems the other 6 rewards will always be a more interesting set of choices depending on difficulty though.

If you fail, the choice goes away and is replaced by a new one.
