A building between worlds with a modern cafeteria, a room ressembling a fantasy tavern, a hotel section, a dorm section, a garden, a hot spring area, a library or any interesting room/area you can think for interesting roleplay.
Because that is it, this topic is for players to roleplay between missions between themselves or with NPCs they recruited during a mission.

After a long day of paperworks and travelling, Blythe arrives at the HQ of the Mercenaries initiative. Outside, there's many facilities like gardens, bench areas, picnic tables, fountains, lookout towers, hedge mazes, etc., but Blythe was told that he would be the first to arrive and was to enter the base immediately.
As they push the door, they glance at everything being dark for a second, but as soon as they take a step inside, the whole room lights up. Blythe looks around as they are in an immense carpeted room with a single holographic tabe at the center of it. It seems to be showing all worlds available for missions. The room also has many rooms, each with different labels. Each time Blythe thinks they counter all the doors, he notices a new one. It seems every kind of room he could think of exists inside this base... Dorm room, kitchen, cafeteria, pool, tavern, arcade, name it!
As everything finishes lighting up, a digital silhouette seems to appear in front of the holographic table, looking straight at Blythe.
"Well, hello there! My name is Cipher, you are currently the first person to arrive at HQ. I am to be the Mercenaries' digital assistant. I am in charge of teleporting you to the world of your choice and take care of the base now that I have been activated. Note that I am programmed to come in missions with any of you if you wish to, but that might leave the headquarters unnattented and prevent new arrivals from going on missions. I am glad to be of service!
Note that we have information that at least one other Mercenaries will join us. Wether you wish to wait for them and explore the base or leave for a mission immediately is your choice.
If you leave now, I can also send them to your location immediately as they are ready to join you.
Feel free to ask anything of me."

Seeing the base in the distance, Magical Soldier Justicia☆Nova, the one and only, launches herself into the air, as if she'd be in space trying to insert herself into orbit...
However, she realises she might have overdone her entrance, as the HQ is approaching fast... Well... More like SHE'S approaching it fast, going straight towards the roof. Quickly calculating that a window is probably less costly, she shoots her S.T.A.R.A.Y. to realign herself, crashing through a window, doing a superhero landing between Cipher and Blythe.
The digital silhouette looks at her, seemingly unphased.
"Oh, hello there. That was unexpected. Well, I think there will be at least 3 of you after all. Welcome, Magical Soldier Justicia☆Nova, I am Cipher, your team's personal digital assistant... You two have fun getting to know each other. When you are ready, I can teleport you to a mission's location."
As Nova looks around, there are an obscene number of doors all around this room... Any room she can think of seems to exist and there's even some that might seem a little primitive to her.
There's an holographic table in this main room, showing the available worlds.

When Jacques was told he could access HQ from underwater, he was very pleased. When he started to walk into tubes however, he started to fear this was the classic and distasteful "come out of the toilet" prank.
Thankfully, he came out of the pool. As much as it's pleasing for him, he needs to present himself.
The door opens, making it 4 people in the main room: Blythe, Cipher, Nova and Jacques. The digital silhouette turns towards Jacques.
"Well, hello Jacques Coastal. I am Cipher, your team's digital assistant. I can send you in missions whenever you are ready."

Cipher looks at the 3 mercenaries... It has no face, but it's body language still has some level of concern to me.
"Just give me a second... A recruit is about to die before we even told them they're accepted in the program..."
Cipher presses a few buttons and a circle of energy starts to appear near the holographic table. On it appears some kind of rat humanoid, heavily wounded. Cipher presses more buttons, take out some kind of spray and uses it on the ratfolk.
"Sorry for this impromptu extraction, Mr. Rasim. We didn't expect you to be in such... danger... I am Cipher, your team's personal digital assistant. You are safe now. And protected.
If you have any question or are ready to go on a mission, feel free to ask me."
Blythe, Nova, Jacques and Rasim are all standing in the main room in an awkward silence.

Jacques gives Blythe a thumbs up seemingly vexed by Nova's comment he taps the side of his helmet a bit before slowly and painfully assuming the best magical girl pose possible while in the clunky suit

"Seems like right now we have an army of turtles trying to breach a wall, a mansion full of zombies and a city swarmed by giant bugs." |

Cipher presses a few buttons, as a circle of energy appears under Blythe. They disappear from the premise.
Blythe moves to Resident Evil topic.

Rasim eventually gets up off the table, still a bit sore but in much better condition thanks to the spray. He looks a bit dubious about working with a bunch of kids, but decides to trust that they know what they’re doing for now.
“I’ll handle the turtles then, that way we’ve covered all of our bases.”
