"T'ain't proper, is all." Texas turns red. "Anyhoo, I dunno. My contract only ever mentioned Antarctica. All this 'moon' nonsense is just as confusin' t' me. But with WanderLuna's resources? I'd say we're probably down with th' penguins. But I can't say all o' Alice's moon-talk is definitely a bunch of hot air, either. Anyway... Larissa's probably long gone. We should probably go grab dinner and explain..."

Wildcat glances at you, then proceeds to ignore you. You notice Texas and Larissa sitting together talking quietly while the others order.

You make a note of everyone ordering chicken. Counting yourself, it's of the people here. More than half if you account for Francois' absence.

Zach, zer0, Calum, Zarv, Jill, Wildcat, and Sam all eat the chicken.

"Painting, right, I did say I'd do that, huh," zer0 says.

"I got nothing else to do," Zarv says.

"I'm gonna be the bestest painter of all!" Anne Jean announces.

"I suppose I may as well join in," Mikoto says.

Zack smiles. "Well, let's get that painting done. I made sure to wear some 'ralls I don't mind messin' up."

"Hmmm. Alright," Texas says. "Might as well."

"OK," Valerie says. "The more of us working, the faster it'll go."

The others all seem to have other plans. Or, in Francois' case, ran off immediately after getting some food.

The painting group leaves, and you consider following Zarv, but then you settle for following Calum. You stalk after him - not trying to hide or anything. He heads into a large room that you hadn't seen before. A giant human centrifuge in the center of the room with a small wall and a control panel seems to be the highlight, as well as a flight simulator against one wall. A table is covered in books. Calum enters and starts examining the bookshelf. He somehow still hasn't noticed you.

You examine the books. It turns out to be extremely easy for you to decipher, it's in your field of expertise. It looks like Wildcat is looking at basic theory of exo-atmospheric maneuvering, re-entry, navigation, things like that. Everything a pilot would need to land a shuttle. In theory.

Calum jumps a bit when he notices you. "Ah... Dame Jeanine. You startled me. What brings you here this fine morn?"

"Ah, yes. I was merely curious how the introduction of flying dragon-like contraptions would alter the deployment methods of knights." He glances at the books again, pulling one out of the shelf then turns to the spinning G-force training machine. "That, and I was curious about this... device. Unfortunately, I am unaware how to operate such a complex pile of machinery. It appears to function not entirely unlike a millstone. Perhaps... Nay, 'twould be folly to attempt."

"You... want me to ride this foul beast?" Calum asks. "Are you sure you wouldn't rather show me how to operate this... device and try it yourself?"

"Hm. If it's the mechanics you are interested in I can also show you, but there's not much practical reason for me to ride as I've already trained quite extensively for G-forces," Jeanine says.

"Humor me?" he asks. "I am... unsure of the proper etiquette and technique for riding." He seems a bit nervous.
