the example I have is in my character I created for the game,

Race: Toad
Misc: is a green toad that was in the toad brigade before being separated from them
Attacks: Jump, Headbutt,
Defense: Mushroom Wall

I has a question.
Do we learn new attacks and defenses with some sort of upgrade or level up system? Also, is it okay if my character is Paper Mario based? Because I designed an entire Paper Mario game on paper when I was sad Sticker Star didn't meet my expectations.
(I have a tendency to design games to replace things I find annoying or inadequate in other games.)
So...I have 10 partners I made for Paper Mario...I'll just say there's uh...some characters in there I could use.

Yeah, paper Mario characters are ok, but if you have 10 you probably will have a hard time choosing one, but thats up to you and not me  |

Oh and for the new attacks after leveling, I will say every 2 levels you get a new move, but you can only have 3 attack and 3 defense so you can get rid of moves like in Pokemon, another thing is I will put down the moves of Mario and Luigi
Mario:
Attack: Jump, Ground Pound, Fire Ball
Defense: none
Luigi:
Attack: Jump, Ground Pound, Ice Ball
Defense: none
And for the heck of it I will put down Yoshi's as well,
Yoshi:
Attack: Flutter Jump, Swallow, Egg,
Defense: Egg Wall

Attacks: Sword combo(a basic sword combo
Defenses: counter (a 50% chance of countering an attack)
Misc: a green toad. One of the mushroom kingdom elite 3 and one of captain toad's closest friends. Swor.T is a close ranged fighter trained from a certain green clad hero to assist mario on his next adventure

Out of curiosity, is there any way we can choose the conditions our characters are introduced in? I've realized that the way I've written my character doesn't exactly lead to him having any real motivation to join the party. Perhaps a window of his house could be broken in the middle of a fight, leading him to tag along because he doesn't want them all to die before they pay off the bill to get his window repaired?

Misc; One day when Rosalina was making her way around the Mushroom Kingdom she saw something interesting. A baby girl that seemed like she was dropped by the stork. Rosalina stayed with the baby for a few days to see if he stork would come back for her. When it didnt return, Rosalina decided to take the child and raise it long with the Lumas. Now at the age of 16 Rosalina decided to tell Christina the truth and now Christina travels the Mushroom Kingdom in search of her origins

Stoady Race: Female Orange Toad Attack: Headbutt, Braid Mace, Jump Defense: none Misc: because Toadette is, well, "Taken" by the leader of the group, the rest of the toad brigade go to Stoady, who is the newest member of the brigade, like the rest of the brigade, she was separated and became lost in the Layer Cake Desert (it's a desert in more ways than one  ) |
