You know what? If nobody else has the guts to do so, I'll take you on. From what I've seen and heard, your characters are both very strong, do I'll have to bring in my own heavy hitters: Shadow and Young Xehanort. If we wait about a day of two (pretty much the next few updates of Gates), I should have the last Chaos Emerald, so that should make things different. As for the arena, I would be fine with either the malfunctioning Halberd originally planned or No Limits Cemetery without the black goo in the fountain, the gravestones acting as portals, or the ban on fighting.

Btw, I'm going to impose a limitation for the sale of fairness that as far as I know only affects me: no assists. By that, I mean that the only characters we can use are the two that we each bring in. No summons, no Pokemon, just Mech and Yura vs Shadow and Young Xehanort.

Can Mech use his equipment and genetics? if they're a weapon, ability, or part of him, I don't see why not.

Okay, here's what I need:
-The most important abilities/powers/weapons/etc. of your characters. Even if they are based on a videogame character, I need to know specifically how they fought in the game in which you played as them.
-Any personality points that would affect the battle.
-Resistances and weakness.
-Notable achievements/lore
I don't really want huge descriptions, just a list would do. Of course, I wouldn't stop you from writing a huge paragraph if you want xd

Shadow is from the Sonic the Hedgehog series. In Gates, he is a very versatile fighter, with his armor and sword Arondight from Sonic and the Black Knight as well as a gun called the Chaos Rifle that he can shoot Chaos Spears out of. In addition, he can also fight hand to hand as well as using such iconic moves as the Spin Dash and Homing Attack. His best skills, however, are his Chaos abilities. Shadow currently has 6 of the 7 Chaos Emeralds (although he should have all 7 within the next few updates), and the abilities they grant are: 1: Chaos Scry (useless here as it merely lets him track down the other Emeralds) 2: Chaos Nightmare (charge up attack with an extremely short AoE range and lengthy startup time involving grinding Chaos Energy in both fists, can also be used for a running punch) 3: Chaos Spear (projectile attack, can be shot from Chaos Rifle or hand) 4: Chaos Activation (provides flight, enhanced strength, and enhanced speed like a weaker Super Form, but gradually drains health) 5: Chaos Infection (channels Chaos Enegy directly into a target, if target is strong enough to survive they will be corrupted) 6: Chaos Heal (restore health) 7: Chaos Control (time stopping or teleportation, of Shadow's choice each time), Chaos Blast (powerful AoE attack), Super Form (invincible to everything except drowning and being crushed, even faster than normal, and can fly. Shadow has 137 rings, so he can stay in his Super form for 137 seconds, or slightly over 2 minutes.) Finally, he can use Ars Arcanum (a flurry of sword slashes) and Zantetsuken (a dashing sword attack with ridiculous strength but also a lengthy startup time), both of which were taught to him by Young Xehanort. Resistances: toxins (Shadow the Hedgehog), environmental influences (platformer physics) Weaknesses: No major weaknesses that I can think of. Feats: fought an alternate Sonic with Speed Force powers to a standstill in a one-on-one unarmed sparring match
I'll put up a post for Young Xehanort in a while, but there won't be as much detail in it because it would end up taking up a whole page. The guy has way too many spells and attacks to list.

You probably know about my characters already, but I'll give you the descriptions.
Mech's abilities are his great strength and fire breath. His mechanical suit provides protection while also giving him the ability to morph his hands into whatever weapon or tool he may need. Mech's shift in genetics has granted him wings to fly with and darkened his scales to a dark purple, allowing him to hide in darkness. He can also safely wield the Dark Blade. Mech's equipment includes Claw Gloves, Claw Boots, Scan Goggles, and the Dark Blade. He also has access to the other equipment his army uses, but most other things are pointless or are unusable by him. His Claw Boots and Claw Gloves increase his strength while giving him the ability to quickly climb and tunnel under the ground. His Scan Goggles allow Mech to see through illusions and lock on to enemies along with finding critical weak points and analyzing enemies or the area. Mech's strongest weapon is his Dark Blade. Normally this weapon would absorb the soul of the wielder, but due to Mech having been combined with the Dusk Knight, he's unaffected. This powerful two handed sword will absorb the life energy of the enemy and give it to the user. Yura has incredible speed and skill. She relies on using her thief skills and isn't afraid to fight dirty. Yura's skills allow her to easily open locked doors and chests. She can also sense traps and cannot get lost. Even if she has never been to the area, she knows where she's going. Yura is also capable of disappearing into the shadows and attack unexpectedly. She's also disarmed her opponents before in battle and stolen their weapon along with all their pocket change. Yura uses basic light armor made mostly up of iron. Her Dash Shoes increase her speed, making her even faster. Her main weapons are her two Burning Edges. These are flaming daggers capable of cutting through solid metal. She's capable of accurately throwing her weapons and using them close up.
Mech is a polite creature. He tries to keep good relationships with the new species that sprang up while he was fossilized. Mech tries his best to keep from killing his enemies in a cruel way. He'd perfer to kill them quickly instead of making them suffer. He's also surprisingly smart for a dinosaur creature. He picked up on the recent technology rather quickly. While he's not an expert, he knows the basics and can repair his suit given the right tools and materials. Yura's a good person, but she has a mischievous side. She knows Lupis has feelings toward her and finds it funny to slightly taunt him about it. She uses seemingly unfair tactics, but she uses them against only her enemies. Outside of battle, she tries her best to make up for her past, being a kind person. Don't make her mad though. She won't just kill you, she'll make you suffer. Both Mech and Yura are attached to their allies and care deeply for them.
Mech's Dusk Knight cells make him resistant to darkness and even strengthen him in the dark, but he doesn't bear any weaknesses to the light since he isn't fully Dusk Knight. Mech's scales give him slight fire resistance, but most resistance to elements come from his suit. His mechanical suit retains the proper warm temperature for him while also providing water, fire, and electrical resistance. If Mech is somehow exposed to the cold, he will be slowed and weakened though. There aren't any specific weaknesses for him beyond that though. Yura's just another human, well, Elf. So she doesn't really have weaknesses or resistances.
Long ago before humans touched the continent, Mech lived with many others of his kind. However, a Great War broke out in the southern jungle, leading for both sides to be destroyed. Years later, Mech awoke from his fossilized state, having been revived by the modern technology of the world. Scientists in a secret lab hidden in the Daravian Desert were working to create the ultimate weapon. Mech had far exceeded their expectations, being more intelligent than the other subjects and having a mind of his own. Scared of what may come next, the scientists abandoned the mission, shutting down the lab. Mech, however, stayed. He continued to learn and train, quickly figuring out how to use the lab machines for himself and piecing together the events after the war. Using the same reviving methods as the scientists, Mech started to build up an army of dinosaurs. He hoped to gather all ten of the ancient dragons so that he may restore the desert to the dense jungle it once was. He learned how to use the genetics altering the machines and even used some of the failed attempts at the ultimate weapon in his army. Still he searches for others of his kind, hoping he isn't truly the last of his species. Not long after he began his search, Mech managed to single handidly tame the death dragon herself. Mech also has studied strategy for years in the lab, learning how to lead his army effectively. Yura grew up in an Elf town far away from Terran. This town was known for its thieves. In fact, Yura was quite the well known thief back then. Somewhere along the line, she gave up thievery. She wanted to change her life and become someone she could be proud of. She left her old life for Terran, where this new town would provide a fresh start. Luckily for her, they had a job that was perfect for her. She was able to become an adventurer and go off on requests to help the townspeople. Now she uses her third skills for good to battle the Dark Lords and monsters. Her accomplishments include stealing A's gun to use it against him, fighting the mighty Phoenix and winning, surviving the battle against Ifrit, and even battling the Guardian of Darkness once. However, a majority of these were completed while she was working with her friends.

Shadow's accomished more than just that. He's fought plenty of tough enemies. I was just listing his accomplishments in Gates. I feel like the ones from the Sonic series are fairly well known, not to mention that I didn't really feel like listing them all out.
