Reese technically has Ricochet. Reese will VERY OBVIOUSLY throw her hammer at the assassin, expecting him to dodge it, and have it ricochet off a wall back at him. Koops will curl up in his shell and circle around the assassin multiple times, trying to find a weak spot to exploit and then fire himself at the enemy.

Young Xehanort casts Curaga on himself, healing almost all the damage as Reese throws her hammer at the Assassin. The hammer never has to ricochet as it just smacks him in the face as the Assassin continues to shamble along. Koops goes in his shell, spinning around the Assassin in circles before being stopped as the Assassin steps on his shell. Koops flails around, trying to get free, but can't move! The Assassin starts to put more pressure on Koops and he can practically feel his HP bar falling! It's then it seems the Assassin nearly freezes in time. Oh, he actually HAS frozen in time. Young Xehanort unleashes his string of powerful spells, finishing off the Assassin as he collapses to the ground, unmoving. His eyes slowly stop glowing as a cold breeze blows past the hall. Young Xehanort then leads the group outside to where Phoenix awaits so everyone can return home after a long and eventful day.
Challenge Complete!

Whoo! Honestly, the Arena Coins are pretty much just a nice bonus. After failing to save everyone last time, thus costing us a major NPC (although we wouldn't have standed a chance if we stayed since we probably wouldn't have been able to do enough damage), being able to change how it ended is very satisfying, as was seeing my plan of healing him to death work.

I also wanted to ask if you enjoyed this style of challenge. Taking a past mission or something and seeing a different way of it ending. I also wanted to know if you enjoyed my story for the alternate timeline.

Yeah, I liked it a lot. It felt a little easy to be honest, although I think you weren't trying to go for anything too challenging either. I liked your story, too. Simple changes, but effective ones. I might copy this from you, to be honest...

I thought it was pretty good. It's interesting to see how hindsight can help with a lot of situations (we knew that we couldn't leave Darkus alone to fight the Assassin), and it's also interesting to see content that we skipped (the Assassin fight).

I might copy this from you, to be honest... Honestly, the scene was taken directly from the game. To the left was a bunch of awful traps that would have made this long and arduous and to the right was the exit with the Assassin waiting. It was literally as if you were playing the game with some story changes.
