Caterpie spits out long, silky threads, wrapping it around Grimer and slowing it down. Rattata quickly follows up by hitting it at a fast speed before Remoraid douses it in Water Gun. The attacks seem to have damaged Grimer, but it sprays out sludge onto your Pokemon! The sludge seems to damage them all, with Caterpie and Rattata looking like they were the most injured. The Grimer starts to slowly make its way toward your team, slowed by the string around it!

Plague Knights grips the premier ball in one hand and a bomb in the other, ready to attack Grimer himself if things take a turn for the worse.

Use Fiora's Persona's healing abilities on the Pokémon.

(...Auto Move?)
Plague Knight's Pokemon charge ahead with a full assault as Fiora backs them up. "Persona!" Fiora heals them all with Mediarama as they attack Grimer. Plague Knight then throws his Pokeball at the about half health Grimer as it slowly shakes back and forth...will he catch it...? In anticipation, the group watches until...Click! Grimer was caught! Mitsuru makes sure to give your Pokemon a quick healing up so you can move on right to the gym with your Pokemon! The question IS which part you visit first though. Grass, Water, or Fire? Also, this weird old guy offers to nickname your Pokemon after saying their names are trash. FUCK OFF, OLD MAN, NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS! But since he asked...you wanna nickname them?

I'd say start with Grass.

Yeah, let's go with Grass. Grass is weak against Poison, so Grimer should have a field day with this one.

You walk into the forest and a girl is waiting there for you. She has green hair and wears green clothes. Surprisingly, the field itself has many trees around it to hide in or climb up. "Hey, I'm Saria and I protect Farore's Stone! If you want to get to it, you'll have to beat me in a battle first! If you lose, you'll get kicked out of the gym though! Don't mess up! Let's go, Nuzleaf!" She tosses a Pokeball containing a Nuzleaf that seems pretty energetic and almost dancing.
Pokemon Trainer Saria challenges you to a battle!

"Hee! Go, Grimer!" What's the strongest poison type move that Grimer has right now?

Grimer comes out, tossing poisonous sludge at the Nuzleaf. It hits of course, but the Nuzleaf starts to grow much larger! It's now about the size of an actual person! It must be using Growth! The Nuzleaf looks ready to kick you around now! Better come up with a good plan or Grimer could be in trouble fighting this giant Nuzleaf.

I'd say... Go for the same attack again. Growth doesn't increase defenses, so maybe we'd be able to finish this with another super effective move before we take damage after all?

Grimer used minimize to make it harder to it(it also makes the move stomp a OHKO)

How about both? Use Minimize and Sludge.

(Sadly, your Grimer has not yet learned Minimize! It does know Sludge though! Continue with Sludge...?)
