The pre-battle
"HELLO EVERYONE! MY NAME IS PETER! I'm one of the unborn and I'll be your host for this instalment of the Death Gauntlet...
You see the giant shadow sphere behind me? The fight will happen inside that! Actually, our contestants are already there being interviewed.
We're asking them why they are participating in this Death Gauntlet. Volunteers can answer the question if they want, or ignore it.
We're waiting for their answers impatiently!
We'll have some magicians, some warriors, some giants, robots and even GIRLS!!! We have everything! It's gonna be pleasantly chaotic!
Some fighters even brought pet into battle.
Anyway, here's what's gonna happen. You see, our world, the Unborn world, changes form... I'll be in control and change the environment every round!
Round 1 will be a platform over a volcano. Ring outs will result in you falling into lava!
Round 2 will be a jungle environment with some climbable trees! The arena will be delimited by some Hedge.
Round 3 will be an icy platform with stalactites blocking the view at the entrance points. Basically, contestants won't know where the other contestants are when Round 3 starts, opening the door to stealth kills!
We're even taking sign-ups for the audience! If you want to be part of the audience and comment the event, just come to see me!
