That could work. Duck Hunt's trait could be the ability to split up (the dog would still be the main character of the two) in fight to more efficiently combo enemies or fight multiplefoes at a time. The duck would use pecking attacks and the Zapper while the dog would bite and use special attacks like the can and Wild Gunmen.

i will have to make one up for Captain falcon but i think it should involve a Speed meter. the Faster falcons attacks the more that Bar increases. the more the Bar increases it makes Falcon's Specials More powerful

I guess Lucina can start off as a lord with her default sword (raiper or royal raiper) but she can train and other items like second seals master seals etc

Another option could be her getting an extra turn if she kills an enemy since most people try to get Gale Force on Lucina. |

Im trying to Add aspects from all Nintendo Franchises(and third party) into Paper Reboot. Such as Adding a Unique Mechanic for every character. and to answer questions
Lucina will have a level up system too but it will be more like Fire emblem's system (such as the level cap being 20 and Reclasses) she can also have a Chrit chance and Hit chance like in FE. and FEA's skills.
Yes Just. you will have to find Materia and you have limited Materia slots.

I'm really sorry to do this right when the game is about to start, but I've changed my mind about my character. Is it too late to switch back to Mega Man? Ive made this decision based on a couple of reasons.
1: The whole concept of a character that doesn't talk in any way sounded interesting at first (possibly having them communicate through gestures), but now that I've given it some thought it would be more of a hindrance than anything else.
2: Duck Hunt wouldn't really have any way to gain new moves, making combat become stale sooner or later. Meanwhile, Mega Man's gimmick could be gaining abilities from bosses either by being in the party that defeats them or (if you want to take a concept from the Ruby Spears show) by making direct contact with them. This could keep combat fresh, and he still has plenty of moves to keep things interesting before I get a lot of moves from bosses.
3: While I'm a pretty big Mega Man fan, I'm kind of indifferent about Duck Hunt outside of Smash.
4: I've already played as Mega Man before and could easily portray him the same way as in the original Paper Smash.
