Pokemon Nuzlocke: Black 2

About five steps into the route, Just was suddenly chased down by some kid in shorts. "I'm the best trainer ever and I'm gonna wreck you, scrub!" The kid seemed pretty confident of himself. He was bound to have a powerful Pokemon.

"His Pokemon must be really powerful...I better be ready."

"This is my Pokemon...GO PATRAT!"

"...A Patrat? Spireye, use Bite." ONE HIT KO!

"NOOOOO HOW COULD I LOSE!?" With the shorts obsessed child soundly defeated, Just continued two more steps on the route.

"HI, HAVE YOU SEEN MY CUTE POKEMON!? IT'S A PURRLOIN!"

"Oh, Purrloin. Real creative. Never saw that one before. So rare. Water Gun." ONE HIT KO! "I think these Pokemon might be cheating with all these critical hits." A few more steps in, Just was stopped again. "YOU'RE KIDDING ME, ANOTHER TRAIN-oh...it's just a Purrloin. I guess I'll catch this one. Uh...Pokeball go." With that Just caught Cat, the Purrloin. "Cat? That's a lame name. I'm calling him something cool like DarkClawOmega." It's name must be Cat. You can't argue with our precious few voters. "OH COME ON! Fine...stupid no naming your own Pokemon rule...*mumble* *mumble*" And then there were more Pokemon. "YOU DID THIS TO ME ON PURPOSE!"

Multiple battles later...

"Finally, I got through them all. It's like there was a Pokemon in every step of grass..." And then there were more trainers. "I HATE YOU NARRATOR!"

Multiple trainer battles later...

"I can't believe...I made it...whew. Floccesy Ranch. Here I should find Rival. Then I can give him this map and GET ME SOME COOKIES. I haven't eaten since I started this whole journey..."

BUT ONE WILL STAND IN THEIR WAY

Onward to Floccesy ranch Just went, searching for Rival. It turns out that's actually where Rival was. In fact, Just destroyed Rival in a short Pokemon battle. With three Pokemon fighting one Snivy, it wasn't much of a challenge. Once the battle was over, Just and Rival noticed the ranch owners as they walked up and explained how their Herdier ran off, but it was probably okay since it's a Herdier. Or something like that. That's when Rival panicked. "He's PROBABLY okay!? Your Pokemon could be dead! This is terrible!" He then ran off looking for the Pokemon in the dangerous fields of fluffy sheep Pokemon.

"That Rival guy...his name should be Awkward." Just had to go follow into the dangerous fluffy sheep flocks to go give the town map to Rival as always because that's the only way to get cookies. After shuffling through hoards of dangerous sheep, our hero had to fight the even more dangerous JANITOR GUY THING! Who was quickly defeated with two attacks. Then Just ACTUALLY had a challenge. In the way of the path stood a Riolu. She was determined to test her skills on this trainer in battle. It was a long and difficult battle with Owth Dylt tanking many attacks as Just panicked and wasted about five Pokeballs on Riolu. FINALLY, on the last pokeball, Just managed to barely catch Lady Erin, the Riolu. This Pokemon would surely be a valuable asset to the team. Just rescued the Herdier from a weird guy that threw a TM at him and ran away. Finally, the map was delivered and Just could get those cookies. Victory was delicious and Just could almost taste it.

Just finally delivered the map to his rival and was able to return to Alder for his cookies. However...they were oatmeal raisin cookies. "You put raisins in my cookies! WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT!?"

"You have not yet earned real cookies. You haven't even beaten the first gym, kid."

"Ugh, fine, I'll beat the first gym and THEN I will be back for those cookies."

"Hahaha, good luck with that. You almost lost your starter to a wild Riolu."

"IT KNEW COUNTER, OKAY!?"

"Well just be careful. In Pokemon Gyms...they have Nuzlocke Battles. Don't go into them expecting it to be easy."

"A what?"

"Nuzlocke Battles are a terrifying form of Pokemon battle where the Pokemon that are defeated...die."

"I-isn't that a little hardcore?"

"It's the way this world works. Kill or be killed, kid."

"...I see. Then I accept the challenge. I'm gonna take on that gym." So Just was off to battle the first gym leader. Once he reached the gym, it was different than expected. It didn't have any weird gimmicks. The gym leader was Cheren. The battle started easily like any other. A couple of water guns and his Patrat was defeated by Owth Dylt. Having been weakened from battle, Owth Dylt was swapped out with Spireye. But the Lillipup was a critical hit machine! It took both Spireye and Cat down to low HP in a single hit. Just only had one hope left. It was Lady Erin. But against such a powerful opponent how could they win? It's then Just remembered that moment in the wild where he caught Lady Erin. As Lillipup attacked, Erin took the hit, barely surviving with one HP, but then she completely turned the tables, retaliating with Counter! Lillipup's own attack hit it back and the match was won. But Just did not kill the opponents Pokemon. Instead he spared them in exchange that this gym banned Nuzlocke Battle in the future. It was agreed and at that moment Just had a new goal. He would defeat all the gyms and put an end to the pain and suffering of Nuzlocke Battles. It was then that the adventure finally began.

I dont know Swaddle is actually decent and it could be useful to have a grass and bug pokemon. Never really liked Pidove and there will be better options for flying pokemon.

So catch Sewaddle and name it Kirby dood
