Oh, I guess I should give an update.
I defeated Malon, Melon, Malo...? The grass chick. Kiawe is the best trial so far.

Mallow, and I recently beat her as well. It's a lot tougher when two of your four Pokémon including your starter get one-shorted by Solar Blade and another gets one shorted by X-Scissor, but thankfully my newly evolved Hariyama was just bulky enough to pull through.

Party update:
Cadence has fully evolved into a Primarina (I got impatient and used some Rare Candies so she's a few levels over the rest of the party), Sasha is overdue to evolve but I haven't played during the day in a while, and while I caught a Fearow the more I think about the Raichu debacle the more I think I need a good Dark or Ground type. I've heard that Deino is available, I might get one of those. Last slot is still reserved for a Ninetales.
