Yeah, I just finished earlier today too. That last stage before the final boss (6-5, not the extra stages from getting all the code cubes) was amazing, and the final boss was every bit as fun to fight as I had hoped. While the final boss is awesome, he's pure bullshit in the true arena, considering his lenght and who you have to fight before him... I didn't even make it past his second phase in two tries. |

Yeah, I've heard they're pretty insane in the True Arena. Four phases sounds a bit lengthy.

He has a fourth phase? Damn...
Almost defeated the third phase.
The worst part is that I know I would defeat him if I started with full Health, but still haven't found the right ability for the second-to-last boss...
(Wheel, Rock and Mirror destroys all of the other bosses, but they don't work as well against the second-to-last boss.)

Yeah, there's a True Arena exclusive phase just like Sectonia in the last game, and from what I've seen it's pretty damn tough.

Whew, I just took out the True Arena in one try with a tiny sliver of health left. Heads up: the last phase of the final battle performs one final move consisting of launching shockwaves three times after you kill it.

Yeah, I defeated the whole thing with hammer, then I thought those red waves were just a cool death sequence -__-
By the way, these waves are one-hit KO, which is extremely douchy for the true arena imo.
Anyway, I completed it for real with Archer this morning, so my brother borrowed the game from me.

in my opinion. Archer is more Broken then Hammer. but thats just me
And i cant love Archer any more then i do.

Just finshed Story mode (blew threw it in like 2 days) while at work. (On overnights so have a lot of time on my hands as long as everything is going okay.)
Anyways just wow that final section was just Epic.
I came away really loving the whole game the last hour actually lived up to the hupe and the fact that they actually changed up the formula not during some side mission or quick little thing but during the actual final battle.
Yet after playing this it just makes me feel more disappointed what has happen in the Mario franchise especially the whole anti story (like how the main guy threw a huge fit because of Rosalinas Diary being in Galaxy 1. And how after Super Paper Mario they destroyed the Paper Mario Franchise. )
