It's not A reptile, but multiple.
You see, crystals are what makes the monsters appear. The closer you will get to the crystal, the more reptiles you should cross.
Destroy the crystal though, and they will all disappear.
Remember that crystals can defend themselves though.
You can go through the West exit and follow the path. The crystal was spotted not far from the camp."
