Dratini will use Wrap on it while Master_of_ego Gets a wooden baseball bat out to intimidate the Caterpie to prevent it from fighting back

Malefio sends out Joel as well as Angela as the fight against a random Tanglerose starts! It seems you can have multiple medals in use at once!

Dratini wraps itself around Caterpie, damaging it while holding it in place. Mater_of_ego takes out a bat and stares at the Caterpie to intimidate it. The thing looks pretty terrified just to be acknowledged, let alone challenged to a battle. It can't move from being wrapped up.

Angela takes out a wrench to pummel the Tanglerose, as Joel takes it from her and makes it into a really sharp combat knife.
Angela: "Okay..."
Angela attacks the Tanglerose with the Knife as Malefio stays behind, protected by Joel.

Joel takes Angela's wrench and makes it into a knife as she charges forward and attacks the Tanglerose! The plant creature seems fairly hurt from the combo attack and the health gauge falls by almost half! The Tanglerose fights back by whipping Angela with its vines, causing a small amount of her HP gauge to drop down.

Angela summons a weak medical hologram to heal Malefio while Joel collects minerals in the ground to build a medium-sized sphere he will kick into the Tanglerose.
Malefio: "Seriously?"

You shake off the strange feeling you got fighting the Caterpie and continue to fight it. It's just a game. Dratini continues to wrap around Caterpie and damage it, releasing in time for Master_of_ego to hit it with his bat. The Caterpie lets out a small cry before shattering into digital pixels. VICTORY! is shown above his head. A screen then appears showing him that he won some experience. LEVEL UP! appears above both him and Dratini. It seems they both reached Level 2 and got a little stronger. Huh? There's something else the Caterpie dropped. Master_of_ego picks up a Caterpie Medal from the ground. Can he summon it now? MEDAL ACQUIRED! Appears above his head. Suddenly, the medal is teleported away, wrapped in blue light. The game then gives him an information box. Apparently when you have more than three medals on hand, any new medals you get will be sent to storage. You can access medal storage inside towns. There are certain special circumstances where you can have more than three medals though. It doesn't really go into detail about it, but apparently there are tournaments where you use five and certain big boss fights. Maybe it's a good Idea to make sure you have a lot of different medals trained for these situations...

Angela creates a weak hologram to heal Malefio a little, expending 20 SP. Malefio is restored 10 HP. Joel then gathers up lots of dirt around the area and launches a rock at the Tanglerose to defeat it. It seems everyone in the battle leveled up. You and your medals are all stronger now.

Master_of_ego will go on to grind off of Tangleroses. at least they are ugly and not Adorable like the Caterpie
