Vivian Vs. Phoenix

I guess that's a good point. I just had to come up with five matches as soon as I made the original thread so I could add the poll that way I didn't have to reset my writing and do everything over again.

It's a bright morning in Terran. The sun shines brightly above today. But it's not all happy here. A strange woman can be seen walking through the town. She looks around, spotting the exact thing she was looking for. The crystal of Terran. "Hmmhmm...found it. Now I'll just take the power for my own."

"Hold it right there, lady." Vivian quickly looks up to a nearby rooftop, seeing Phoenix laying on it in a relaxed position. "You didn't think I'd let you take that crystal and interrupt my nap, did you?" He opens his eyes, staring at her before jumping off the roof and taking a defensive position in front of the crystal. "You'll have to fight for it."

"Oh, I could use a little snack before I take the crystal home with me. It WOULD like nice in my mansion, after all."



The battle starts as both auras blaze from either side. The two exchange blows of flames, blocking out each others attacks. Fire flies throughout the battle field. Phoenix attempts a Flame Pillar, but Vivian sidesteps the flames and sends the scattered fir from above right at Phoenix. The Guardian dispels the flames before they hit him, trying a more offensive approach. He dashes forward and uses the Fire Crystal Staff to try and hit Vivian. She easily dodges his attacks though, avoiding each swing with a quick step to the side or jump over Phoenix himself. Phoenix launches down flames from above as well, dropping fireballs on Vivian, but her aura absorbs the fire. "You'll have to try harder than THAT." She shoots multiple aura blasts right at Phoenix, hitting him with them, but he brushes it off. Phoenix retaliates with some simple blazing strikes. "Oh, I'm just getting sick of this."

"Should we end this, then?"

"Gladly." Vivian's aura swells with power as the battlefield changes to a flaming mess. "Oh, I'm going to enjoy this." Phoenix transforms into a full on Phoenix and prepares to battle against Vivian as well. Vivian launches flame bursts at Phoenix, but the bird protects himself with his large wings. She then sends a serious heat wave toward Phoenix, causing it to become crazy hot. Phoenix doesn't appear to phased.

"Is that all you got?"

"Far from it. It's time I use AURA BURST!"



Vivian's aura becomes far more powerful, enveloping the entire area and overwhelming Phoenix's own magic aura. "You're already dead." She creates large domes of flame around Phoenix as they close in on him and hit him multiple times before summoning down blasts of fire from the sky. She then takes out her hang gun, shooting at Phoenix multiple times before tossing a bomb at him and causing it to explode with her own fire. Phoenix looks pretty badly injured, but he casts a firewall spell to guard against flame attacks. Vivian goes into launching a barrage of blazing fire strikes at him before shooting multiple bullets into Phoenix. Finally, she dispels his flame guard and snaps her fingers. Spires of red aura pierce through Phoenix before exploding, leaving nothing but ashes. "You tried your hardest, but you really can't compete with me." Vivian then starts to walk toward the crystal, but a sudden flash of flame ignites the ashes of Phoenix. "What's this...!?"



The ashes come together, burning into a brighter fire before turning blue from all the heat. Among the blue flames, Phoenix is reborn. He flies up high into the air, letting out a screech. "YOU CANNOT KILL THE PHOENIX OF REBIRTH." Phoenix casts a spell that increases the power of his flames, turning all of his fire based attacks blue! He calls down blue flames to rain from the sky all around the battlefield. Vivian attempts to block them all out, but can't keep up with the speed at which they fall. Phoenix then dashes forward, picking up Vivian and throwing her into the air. While in the air, she tries to shoot at Phoenix, but he blocks the attacks with his wings, breathing a powerful blue flame breath at Vivian before crashing into her and knocking her higher into the sky. He unleashes a combo of flaming attacks on her before blasting her up above the clouds. He follows her up there and starts to cast a powerful spell. As the heavily burned Vivian starts to fall downward, a gigantic magic circle appears in the sky. Before Vivian hits the ground, a meteor falls down from the spell circle, crushing her and burning anything left into oblivion. A tired Phoenix then flies down from the sky and returns to his Magigen form. "A difficult battle. But those fighting for what is right will never lose. Terran is now safe from you and the souls you have stolen are released. May you and your Totem find peace..." Where Vivian's body once was, a small Phoenix can be seen before it flies off into the sunny skies.

KO!

The heat returns to normal, returning to a beautiful day in Terran. "Now is a good time for a nap. I think Lupis might be home soon. Better clean up. I don't want him having to worry that enemies attack while he's gone!"

Phoenix is the winner!
