Yzza tosses everyone up on the balcony before Vince flies her up there with his wings. Everyone then runs into the room. It seems empty.
"Alright. This way." Layor runs over to a nearby bookcase and pushes in a book, causing it to move and reveal a secret passage. "Come on, let's hurry." Everyone runs down the secret staircase before Layor pushes a stone in the wall and causes another passage to open into the throne room. "It doesn't look like anyone's here. Come on, the temple is in the garden just behind the throne." She then stops, seeing a few guards protecting the door behind the throne. "I should have known it wouldn't be that easy...there aren't any other passages that way too..." Anyone know how to get past?

"Well... We either need to knock them out stealthily, fighr them or throw an object in a random direction so they move away from the door.

Layor nods and contemplates what to do. "Um...Vince, can you breathe fire...?"
"Yeah, why?"
"Here, set this on fire and throw it over by the throne. It will distract them." Layor hands Vince a small lantern. "They'll just think someone dropped their lantern and got scared so they ran away."
"Alright, I'll keep them busy while you guys run in there." Vince runs off with the lantern and as your hear a crash and the burning of flames, the guards run off toward the sound. Everyone then runs into the garden behind the throne. There's a beautiful little shrine back here with flowers around. "This might take a little while. I need to perform the ceremony passed down through generations." Layor creates a bouquet of flowers from the garden before singing as she approaches the small shrine.
"Huh? Did you hear that? Someone's in the garden!" The guards can hear her singing!
"Sorry, boys, but I can't let you interfere!" Yura trips one of the guards while the other stares at Layor.
"Is that...the princess!? I thought she ran away...!" Vince then drops down from above and knocks them back with his shield.
"Not a step closer, guards! We can't have you stopping Layor from her ritual."
"Layor...? But the princess' name isn't Layor. It's-"
"WAAAAHHHH! A G-G-GHOST!" The other guard runs away. The guard that stayed behind looks confused before he looks next to Vince and sees a ghost floating beside him.
"WHO ARE YOU FREAKS!? GAHHHH!" He runs off.
"Nothing like scaring away those you don't want to fight." Kardus closes his book as the spirit fades away. It seems it was just a spell he cast. Layor starts to finish her song as winds swirl around the garden, picking up flower petals.
"Step in the vortex! It will take us up to the Cloud Temple!" Everyone quickly jumps into the swirling vortex of flowers before the winds pick them up and carry them into the sky toward what looks like a temple in the clouds...

Lupis prepares himself for the task ahead. With any luck things will go off without a hitch this time, but odds are that won't be the case.

The platform brings itself down before everyone is safely on the ground. Tiamat is now a Chibi Goblin and she gets up, holding her head. "Ugh, you guys are tougher than you look. I'm pretty impressed. I guess this means I'm with you guys for this fight, huh? Those knives were pretty powerful. Here, I think I still have one in my back." She takes one of Yura's Burning Edges out of her back and hands it to her. "I think the other ones are around the garden somewhere."
Yura looks around for her knives while Vince questions Tiamat. "So that's it? Whoever beats you in a fight wins you over? The other Guardians were easier to get with just persuasion."
"Yeah, well I think fists speak louder than words. Besides, I want to fight for the winning team!"
Layor is calling a healing rain in the garden for the wounded. "I hope this helps you all feel better."
"Thanks Layor. My blood magic can get a little out of hand sometimes." Kardus stands up and seems to be feeling better from the rain. It's strange to see his face now. He looks just like Darkus did.

"Aww... The battle is over? I didn't even get started...

"Hopefully not for a while. That last fight really hit us hard. I can still feel my hands buzzing..."
"Um...maybe we should relax in the garden for a little bit to rest up and heal. Nobody but the king knows about it and all, so...yeah..."
"That sounds like a good idea. I think Yura needs time to gather all her knives anyways."

Lupis turns to Tiamat.
"I don't suppose there's any way that you could convince the King of your identity and that we're friends, is there? To make a long story short, the Dark Lords have tricked Magis and several other places into thinking that we're the Dark Lords."
Btw, isn't there a pearl we were supposed to get in the Cloud Temple? That seems to have been skipped.

"What? You mean this old thing?" She takes out a yellow gem. "Yeah, this hunk of junk can go right to you. I don't even know what it does." Tiamat places the Yellow Orb into Lupis' necklace and as it shines, the third slot is filled. There are only two slots left. The Water Guardian and the Guardian of Light. "Yeah, I dunno about that whole convincing thing. Why don't you just have the princess do it? She seems to be pretty valid proof."

"And uh...what's with her?" Tiamat points to Yura looking at Kardus weirdly. It seems she finished gathering her knives. "You guys may be strong, but you're all a bunch of weirdos."
