This city is huge. It looks like there are players everywhere. This must be where the new players go after being in the forest. "Nice job out there! You all were really amazing to watch. Taking down a raid monster like that so early on is impressive." This girl seems to be named Ruby. She wears a lot of red. Her hair and eyes are black though. She also has a weird symbol above her head. It looks like a flame. "Anyway, welcome to the game! I'm assuming you had as crazy a time as anyone did with their first adventure into the game. My name is Ruby. I'm the leader of a PvP guild here. I thought maybe you'd like to all join. I could definitely use someone as talented as you and we're having a special deal where we include a special medal of your choice when you join! Either Torchic or Firespirit. Anyway, you don't have to join if you don't want. There are plenty of other guilds. I just thought that maybe with your fighting skills, it would be smart. We are one of the largest guilds, after all. There's also the choice to start your own guild too, but...guild upkeep isn't easy. You need to log on every day and you've got to be good at the game too."

There is no inn.
Looks like you'll need a healing station. Which is only available to guild members. So you'll have to join one of the guilds if you want to heal in this town. Or find a healing spring out in the wild somewhere.

Let's search around a bit before just going with the first option. Try to find a guild signup bulletin board or something, or some other players with different guild symbols.

You find the guild sign ups pretty quickly. There's a large screen in the middle of town displaying all the guilds and allowing you to make your own as well.
Blazing Assault - PvP oriented guild of a large size. Enemies of the Frozen Knights with a castle.
Frozen Knights - PvP oriented guild of a large size. Enemies of Blazing Assault with a castle.
Collectors - A guild focused on collecting all the medals. The largest guild with a mansion nearby.
Shattered Bones - A guild that steals from players, taking their medals. Generally a hated guild. Medium sized.
Explorers - A guild focused on exploration of the vast world. They're small as most players don't care about doing the hard work and would rather just play around and have fun.

You both head over to the base for the Explorers guild to apply. They have a small building in the town that functions as their guild in this town, but apparently they have small camps set up throughout the world. "Welcome to the Explorers guild. How can I help you." The woman sitting at the front desk seems rather disinterested in you guys. She's got a Goomba standing on the desk that's probably hers. It looks like she was playing a minigame before you showed up. The username is "PleaseGoAway".

"Awesome! I love new members. Why don't you decide which medal you want while we head on over to our castle?" Ruby shows him the Torchic and Firespirit medals.
Coilette
Coilette decides to register her own guild. It looks like she needs to pick a name, symbol, and the goal of the guild. It can be PvP, Game Clearing, Level Grinding, Roleplaying, or anything really. Just14 seems to be watching you sign up from behind.
